Yemen's Houthis launch missile strike on Ben-Gurion Airport
On Tuesday, Yemen's Houthis (Ansarallah) claimed responsibility for a missile strike targeting Ben-Gurion Airport, using a 'Palestine 2' hypersonic ballistic missile.
In a statement on X, Houthi military spokesperson Brig. Gen. Yahya Saree announced the operation "in solidarity with Gaza" and 'achieved its goals," by disrupting airport activity.

Earlier, the Israeli military claimed it had intercepted a missile launched from Yemen, following alerts in several areas.

Since March 18, when Israel resumed its ground offensive in Gaza, the Houthis have intensified cross-border attacks, launching over 40 ballistic missiles and more than 10 drones toward Israeli targets, according to Israeli media.

The draft is expected to be submitted to the cabinet by the end of August. Violations of the US-brokered ceasefire, which took effect on November 27, 2024, have continued. Lebanese media reported on Wednesday that an 11-year-old boy died and his father sustained serious injuries after an Israeli drone strike hit their home's garage in the southern town of Touline. An Israeli drone has also dropped a stun grenade on the nearby town of Yaroun. Since the ceasefire began, Lebanese authorities have recorded over 4,200 Israeli violations, resulting in at least 230 deaths and more than 450 injuries. Although the ceasefire requires a full Israeli withdrawal, five Israeli military outposts remain in southern Lebanon.

IED blast injures three Iraqi soldiers in southern Nineveh
Shafaq News – Nineveh An improvised explosive device detonated during a joint security operation in southern Nineveh on Wednesday, injuring three Iraqi soldiers, according to a security source. The blast struck a patrol from the Army's 43rd Brigade as it conducted a mission with Ansar al-Marjaiya forces—affiliated with the Popular Mobilization—southwest of Mosul. An investigation has been launched to determine whether the device was recently planted or a remnant of previous military activity in the area. IEDs remain a persistent threat in Iraq, especially in areas that once saw heavy fighting with ISIS. Despite territorial defeat in 2017, the group and other militant remnants continue to plant roadside bombs targeting security forces, particularly in remote or contested zones like Nineveh, Kirkuk, and Diyala. Lebanese army kills top drug lords in Baalbek raid
