Golden State Warriors jersey history - No. 19 - Kosta Perovic (2007-08)
Founded in 1946 during the Basketball Association of America (BAA -- a precursor league of the NBA) era, the team has called home the cities of Philadelphia, San Francisco, Oakland, and even San Diego.

That player would be Golden State big man alum Kosta Perovic. After starting his pro career abroad, Perovic was picked up with the 38th overall selection of the 2006 NBA Draft by the Warriors.
The Osijek, Croatia native played his sole season in the NBA with the Dubs, returning to Europe to play afterward.
During his time suiting up for the Warriors, Perovic wore only jersey No. 19 and put up 1.4 points and 1.9 rebounds per game.

Serge Ibaka thinks OKC Thunder have chance to become NBA dynasty
Cheering from afar, Serge Ibaka was ecstatic to see Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Jalen Williams and Chet Holmgren accomplish what he couldn't. The Oklahoma City Thunder star trio brought home an NBA championship after a historically dominant season. He recently talked to TMZ Sports to offer his opinions. "They have a lot of potential. The game now is very different. The game has changed," Ibaka said. "This generation, I think they have the chance to be one of the best. But it's always easy to say but hard to do it. On paper, they have a chance. They can do it." Ibaka joins the consensus opinion. The Thunder enter the 2025-26 season as a popular title pick. They could be a rare repeat champion. After they signed Gilgeous-Alexander, Williams and Holmgren to contract extensions this summer, expect them to remain in the championship conversations for the foreseeable future. "As an athlete, something I've learned is you can't really say numbers like that. There can be many things happen on your way there. But on paper, they have a chance to win three," Ibaka said. "They're young. They're going to keep getting better and better. Sam always do a great job at putting a team together. Right now, they're confident. It's their moment." It's always nice to hear from a former Thunder great. While Ibaka couldn't help win a championship in OKC, fans quickly fell in love with the Thunder's first iteration. Despite several playoff shortcomings, they'll always have a soft spot in the heart of OKC fans as they welcomed the NBA franchise in 2008.

Warriors cop brutal new setback as anger mounts over NRL's response to illegal act
The Warriors' injury-plagued NRL season has gone from bad to worse after confirmation back-rower Jacob Laban has suffered a broken leg after an illegal tackle from Felise Kaufusi. The Dolphins star was hit with a two-game ban after the match review committee handed him a grade two dangerous contact charge for coming in as the third man and targeting the legs of the Warriors star in the tackle. But the Warriors are reportedly 'fuming' about the grading and the two-game ban for Kaufusi, after seeing their playe wiped out for the rest of the regular season, as a result of the tackle. It's understood the Auckland-based club are calling on the NRL to implement a change to their judiciary process that takes into account the extent of injury to players, before suspensions are handed down. Laban was in obvious pain after being hit low from Kaufusi in the second half of his side's heartbreaking late defeat to the Dolphins, with Faufusi subsequently sent to the sin bin. The Warriors forward was already wrapped up in the tackle by two other Dolphins defenders when Kaufusi entered the fray as the third man in and targeted his legs, causing them to twist awkwardly and leaving Laban crying out in agony. The back-rower was helped off the field by Warriors medical staff and played no further part in the contest as Jamayne Isaako snatched a 20-18 win for the Dolphins with a try in the dying stages. It's since been confirmed that Laban suffered a broken leg and is set to be sidelined for at least the next six weeks, continuing a wretched spate of injuries for the Warriors. They are already missing a host of first-team regulars including Mitch Barnett, Luke Metcalf, Rocco Berry and James Fisher-Harris and have seen their top-four hopes take a massive hit. Warriors question two-game ban for Felise Kaufusi And according to Code Sports, furious Warriors officials believe the match review committee should have upgraded Kaufusi's charge and handed him a longer suspension after learning the extent of Laban's injury. The NRL has maintained that charges for illegal acts are made on the basis of potential 'risk of injury', rather than the 'outcome of injury'. But the Warriors are unhappy that the charge was handed down to Kaufusi before they'd received confirmation of Laban's broken leg. And it's led to questions about why the NRL didn't choose to adopt a new rule brought in by the ARL Commission, that could have seen Kaufusi hit with a more significant suspension. The ARLC recently announced a change to the judiciary process that gives it powers to upgrade or downgrade charges, and even hand down fresh sanctions for on-field incidents. And the Warriors clearly believe Kaufusi's punishment is incongruous with the damage done to their player. "If you have two players in the tackle, and momentum is pretty much (stopped), that third man shouldn't be able to go in like that. A couple of years ago we saw Liam Knight get hit from behind and it pretty much destroyed every ligament in his knee. "The player cannot see it coming. And what's come into the game is they back into the tackle so they can see the third man coming in and spearing at the knee. And what's happened with that happening is we have crushers coming into the game, because of players turning and twisting looking for that third man." San Antonio Spurs, De'Aaron Fox Agree to 4-Year, $228 Million Extension
San Antonio Spurs guard De'Aaron Fox has agreed to a four-year, $228 million maximum contract extension, a person with knowledge of the situation said Monday. Fox is under contract this season for the final year of his five-year, $163 million deal. The extension starts in 2026-27, said the person, who spoke with The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because the Spurs have yet to announce the agreement. ESPN first reported the deal. The move was expected after the Spurs made a big splash at the trade deadline last season by getting Fox from the Sacramento Kings. Fox has career averages of 21.5 points and 6.1 assists in eight NBA seasons. He averaged 19.7 points and 6.8 assists in 17 games with the Spurs last season. The Spurs, with Fox, budding star Victor Wembanyama, last season's rookie of the year Stephon Castle and this year's No. 2 pick Dylan Harper, appear poised to be a challenger in the Western Conference. The Spurs finished 34-48 last season, six games back of the 10th-seed play-in Mavericks, despite Wembanyama appearing in just 46 games thanks to deep vein thrombosis in his right shoulder that ended his season in February, mere weeks after the Spurs acquired Fox.
