Who is Aashka Goradia?
Ashka made her TV debut in 2002 with the show 'Achanak 37 Saal Baad'. After this, she worked in shows like 'Bhabhi', 'Tum Bin Jaoon Kahan'. But in 2003, she became known in every household with Ekta Kapoor's show 'Kusum'. Then she also appeared in popular shows like 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi', 'Sindoor Tere Naam Ka', 'Naagin'.

Ashka has not only participated in fiction but also in reality shows, she has appeared in Bigg Boss 6, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 4, Nach Baliye 8 and Khatron Ke Khiladi 4. Ashka was last seen in the TV show 'Daayan' and reality show 'Kitchen Champion 5' in the year 2019. In 2021, she decided to quit acting so that she could give full time to her business.
A year before quitting acting, in 2018, Ashka launched 'Renee Cosmetics'. She started it in collaboration with Priyank Shah and Ashutosh Valani, the same people who created Beardo (men's grooming brand).

How Ashka built a company with Rs50 lakh to Rs 1,200 crore
Renee started with just Rs 50 lakh and was a digital-first brand that initially sold only online. Products started selling on Amazon, Flipkart, Nykaa, Myntra. Then gradually the brand expanded offline as well.
The price of the products was decided keeping in mind the women of tier 1 and tier 2 cities. Due to this strategy, Rene started competing with big brands like Lakmé, Maybelline, MyGlamm, Sugar. The brand earned Rs 100 crores in the first two years. In the year 2024, Renee Cosmetics is valued at Rs 1,200 to Rs 1,400 crore after the company raised funding of Rs 100 crore.
Bought a house at the age of 23
Ashka shared that she came to Mumbai from Gujarat at the age of 16. Initially, she lived as a paying guest and then in a rented house. But later she bought her own house, Ashka said: 'At the age of 23, I bought my own house in Mumbai, which was a big thing for me.'
