Once again, Betty Who is blessing the LGBTQ+ community with incredible music.
After three years, the queer singer is kicking off a brand new era by is releasing her own original music as an independent artist.
Her first empowering single "Run!" is literally designed to keep the gays moving and remaining optimistic during these challenging times.
"A lot of the music that'll be coming your way is a little bit tongue-in-cheek! Ultimately, I'm a silly little goose who wants to write a big bridge. Leaning into the things that make me, me, is now what this era is about," Who tells PRIDE.

Who is also showing plenty of skin in the visuals for her second single "SWEAT," which comes out this Friday and just before Pride Month begins.
"Pride season is coming up! It is my Mariah Carey Christmas season. I am in my cryogenic freezer and I am defrosting as we speak! I feel my season coming. It's time! The next song is for Pride. It's for the club. In the club, we all fam!"
Beyond the clubs, Who is also hitting the road this summer and performing all of her biggest hits. The star is even slated to perform at the WorldPride Music Festival in Washington, D.C.
"This is my city! These are my people! I'm very excited to show both sides of me at WorldPride. You better believe... I will be performing my set, and then I will be taking my drag off and going to watch Ms. Rita Ora and Jennifer Lopez. What a night to be alive!"
Although the political climate is raising concerns for many tourists around the world, Who is reminding everyone to remain steadfast and unafraid to live out and proud.
"To my LGBTQIA+ sisters, brothers, and everyone in between in the community, don't give too much of your time and energy to the people who don't get it. Save it all for the people who do and celebrate you for who you are! You can't let other people hold you back from living your life and feeling the joy you absolutely deserve to feel."

Rainbow flags and politics on display at Montreal pride parade

MONTREAL — Downtown Montreal was awash with rainbow flags as thousands of LGBTQ+ community members and their supporters took to the streets for the annual Pride parade. Cheering crowds lined the streets as activists, politicians and brightly costumed performers danced and cheered as the march stretched over more than two kilometres. Gregg Blachford, a member of LGBTQ seniors group Gay and Grey, says the event for him is all about good energy and fun for people of different ages. The mood was upbeat despite controversies in recent days that threatened to overshadow the event. The marchers included members of Jewish LGBTQ+ group Ga'ava, which was briefly banned from attending over comments its president made about pro-Palestinian groups. Organizer Fierté Montréal reversed the ban last week and reaffirmed that 'all communities' were welcome to participate in the events for the 11-day festival. The best photos from day two of Darlington Pride - can you spot yourself?

Darlington Pride returned for a second day with families turning out for a special picnic. Pride in the Park kicked off in Hopetown on Sunday morning with families enjoying crafts, face painting, live music by Tracks Darlington, bubbles and storytelling. The event celebrates the LGBTQ+ community and follows a parade in Darlington town centre on Saturday. Hundreds flocked to the Market Square just before lunchtime donning flags and colourful outfits. The parade featured stalls, tribute acts, performances and speeches from the stage and was hosted by drag star Tess Tickle - and the fun is not over yet. Darlington Pride will conclude on Monday with MonGay Pride. They'll be live music, parties and special guests at venues across the town centre from 6pm to late. The celebrations will honour the longstanding legacy of Darlington's annual MonGAY Pride night.
