Marvel fans are buzzing with excitement over rumors of Moon Knight Season 2 potentially releasing in May. Since its gripping debut in 2022, the Disney+ series starring Oscar Isaac as Marc Spector/Steven Grant/Jake Lockley has left audiences eager for more. But is a second season really on the horizon? Here's everything we know so far about Moon Knight Season 2. Is Moon Knight Season 2 Releasing in May 2025?
No official release date has been announced, and a rumored May 2025 release seems unlikely given the lack of concrete production updates. Here's why: Production Timeline : If Season 2 were to release in May 2025, filming would likely need to be underway by now. However, no credible reports confirm that production has started.
Marvel's Schedule : Marvel's Phase 6 is packed, with projects like Avengers: Doomsday (May 2026) in development. A May 2025 release would be a tight fit.
Historical Context: If greenlit, a second season could take 2–3 years from announcement to release, based on Marvel's typical timeline. For example, Loki Season 2 took about two years from confirmation to release. What Could Moon Knight Season 2 Be About?
While no official plot details exist, fan theories offer tantalizing possibilities: Jake Lockley's Spotlight : Multiple X posts suggest Season 2 would focus on Jake Lockley, the third personality introduced in Season 1's finale. This could explore his darker, more violent role as Khonshu's enforcer.
Midnight Sons Setup : Rumors hint at Season 2 laying groundwork for the Midnight Sons , a supernatural MCU team. Villains like Kang or Mephisto might appear, tying into larger MCU arcs.
New York Setting: One report claims Moon Knight will relocate to New York, potentially aligning with street-level heroes like Daredevil or Spider-Man.

Peter Sohn to Direct Pixar's THE INCREDIBLES 3 as Brad Bird Steps Aside — GeekTyrant

Disney and Pixar are officially moving forward with The Incredibles 3 , and for the first time in the series, Brad Bird won't be in the director's chair. Instead, longtime Pixar veteran Peter Sohn, fresh off the success of Elemental , will take the helm. Sohn has been part of the Pixar family for decades, contributing in various roles on The Incredibles , Incredibles 2 , Finding Nemo , Up , and Wall-E . Most recently, he directed Elemental , which quietly climbed to nearly $500 million at the global box office after a soft start. Sohn's ability to craft emotional, character-driven stories makes him a natural fit for the Parr family's next chapter. As for Bird, while he won't be directing this time around, he's still very much involved and will be credited as both screenwriter and producer. It's not confirmed why Bird stepped aside, but Bird has a couple of other projects brewing, including the sci-fi noir Ray Gunn with Skydance and the long-gestating historical epic 1906 at Disney. The Incredibles franchise has been one of Pixar's crown jewels. The original 2004 film introduced us to Bob and Helen Parr (a.k.a. Mr. Incredible and Elastigirl), their super-powered kids, and a suburban life constantly disrupted by villainy. Disney first confirmed development on the third installment during its D23 Expo in late summer 2024. No release date or story details have been shared yet, but Craig T. Nelson, Holly Hunter, and Samuel L. Jackson are expected to return. While fans might miss Bird's directorial touch, Sohn's jumping on the project signals a promising new direction. He knows the characters, he knows the world, and with Bird still on board creatively, Incredibles 3 looks to be in solid hands. More to come as this one powers up. Source: Variety

How Did 'Snow White' Perform at the Box Office? "Snow White" did not prove to be the fairest of them all at the box office. After a disappointing domestic opening of $42 million, the film went on to flop globally by taking in only $205.5 million against a reported production budget between $240 and $270 million. What are the Controversies Surrounding 'Snow White'? Many of the controversies surrounding "Snow White" revolved around the casting of Rachel Zegler as the titular heroine. At first, many fans of the property questioned the decision to cast a Latina as a character traditionally depicted as white. Later, Zegler's casting stirred more political controversy when she proved outspoken both in her pro-Palestinian stance and in her disapproval of the reelection of President Donald Trump. Gal Gadot's casting as the Evil Queen proved just as controversial when pro-Palestinian groups called for the film to be boycotted because of Gadot's previous service in the IDF and her support for Israel. There was also controversy about the use, or lack thereof, of actors with dwarfism. Most notably, Peter Dinklage caused a stir when he mentioned "Snow White" on an episode of "WTF with Marc Maron" and bashed the movie, calling it, "that f---ing backwards story about seven dwarfs living in a cave together." More controversy erupted later when it was revealed that, of the actors whose motion capture and voices were used to create the CGI dwarfs, only one of them (Martin Klebba) was an actor with dwarfism.
