Glenfinnan Viaduct has been one of the favourites, as the Hogwarts Express travelled across the famous bridge in four of the films.
Now a new weekend bus service is being introduced to encourage more of the 600,000 annual visitors to Glenfinnan to leave their cars behind and travel a little more magically.
And the bus line has a name inspired by the books, being called no. 9 ¾ - or 934.
This is in a nod to Platform 9¾, the magical place Harry and his pals caught the Hogwarts Express when heading for school.
According to those behind the bus journey, the service offers a 'spellbinding alternative to driving' with comfy seats and scenic views.
The new timetable is part of a community-led effort aimed at helping plug a gap in public transport provision to the tiny village on the shores of Loch Shiel in Lochaber on Saturdays and Sundays.
It's a pilot scheme to gauge public appetite for a motor-free day out and help relieve pressure on local car parks, which quickly fill up at this time of year, leading to hazardous kerbside parking and traffic congestion along the famous road to the Isles.
The National Trust for Scotland (NTS), Glenfinnan Community Council, Glenfinnan Community Facilities Charitable Trust (SCIO), Glenfinnan Station Museum and HITRANS have each contributed to the cost of the buses.
Local authority councillors have also backed the project by supporting an application to The Highland Council's Discretionary Budget, while local bus company, Shiel Buses, will operate the service.
Glenfinnan businesses are also offering 'green rewards' as a thank you to those visitors who show them a valid bus or train ticket.

These include the NTS Visitor Centre offering a complimentary hot drink, and two-for-one on climbing Glenfinnan Monument, along with a range of other discounts.
Kate Forbes MSP commented: "Glenfinnan has become an iconic destination for visitors, with thousands of visitors every year. This has created pressures on local infrastructure, which I have been working to resolve with local residents.
'A few years ago, the community successfully built a much larger car park. However, this has quickly become too small. As such, I have been chairing a task force to identify solutions over the last few years.
HOW TO GET THERE
THE summer weekend bus service will run four times a day at the weekends, between Fort William and Glenfinnan, from now until September 7.
It is just one of many train and bus services that travel to Glenfinnan seven days a week.
Visitors will be able to get on the Glenfinnan weekend bus at Fort William bus station, Lochaber High School (free parking available at weekends), Kilmallie Hall in Corpach and Linnhe Caravan Park.
Times for the new service, along with timetables and prices for all other buses and trains, can be found in the 'Guide to visiting Glenfinnan without a Car.'
This can be viewed and downloaded from nts.org.uk
'I am delighted to see a new solution to get more people out of their cars. This will hopefully be transformational, as more visitors choose to share transport.
'I am enormously grateful to all the key stakeholders – The Highland Council, HITRANS, Shiel Buses, National Trust for Scotland and every local resident that has been helping drive this forward.'

Now, the brunette beauty has demonstrated how to ensure concealer sits correctly and in the most flattering way possible under the eyes. Posting on social media and sharing her expert advice, Carina responded to a comment that read: 'I find the concealer goes into my wrinkles and they look worse around the eyes and crows feet.' To this, Carina stressed the importance of using the right product, that is the correct shade for you. According to this make-up pro, to ensure your eyes don't look sunken or wrinkly, you'll need a matte product that matches your skin tone. To demonstrate, she used the Soft Matte Complete Concealer from NARS. But instead of just applying the concealer to the area, Carina explained that it's important to hydrate the area too. As a result, she used a tiny amount of eye cream, the size of a rice grain, with a small amount of concealer and stressed: 'Take your concealer that matches your skin and make a little paste with that.' Once she'd made her paste, Carina applied it lightly under her eye and then shared her simple technique, which involves using your finger, rather than a beauty blender or brush, to blend and smudge in the product. Carina added: 'Then just press and roll, press and roll and press and roll that into the dip.' From banana skins to ear massages - five natural anti-aging hacks revealed Following this, she confirmed: 'You might want to go over that a couple of times, but you can see that by pressing it on and also using that hydrating cream, it does look better. Wife of Hollywood actor claims she's ‘always broke' and ‘lives pay cheque to pay cheque'

HER husband is one of Hollywood's biggest comedy actors, but despite this, Dawn O'Porter has revealed she is struggling to make ends meet financially. The television presenter, 46, who has been married to Bridesmaids actor Chris O'Dowd since 2012, has opened up about her money woes. PADawn O'Porter has opened up about her financial struggles[/caption] GettyDawn is married to Hollywood actor Chris O'Dowd[/caption] AlamyChris got his big break in Hollywood with a role in the comedy caper Bridesmaids[/caption] She expressed to MailOnline: 'I work pay cheque to pay cheque. I'm always broke. My card got declined last week. I'm like, what the f*** is happening? When will this end?' The Scottish writer and director has had a varied career, presenting several documentaries and shows including BBC's Super Slim Me and How To Look Good Naked on Channel 4. Meanwhile, Chris, 45, has starred in some of Hollywood's biggest productions, including This Is 40, Thor: The Dark World, Gulliver's Travels and St. Vincent. The couple have two children, sons Art, 11, and Valentine, who is eight years old. The family returned to London last Summer after living in Los Angeles for the past eight years. This isn't the first time Dawn has opened up about her financial woes as she previously alluded to living quite a humble lifestyle. While appearing on the White Wine Question Time podcast with Kate Thornton, she explained: 'I've never seen myself as a celebrity. 'Even though I'm married to Chris, who is quite a well-known actor, I don't think either of us have ever seen ourselves as celebrities. 'I guess if I was a celebrity, I'd get paid lots of money to do things that aren't necessarily my job or don't really feed what I do, but I don't. My job is writing, with the occasional little ad on Instagram to pay the rent.' After struggling to find her place in the bright lights of Hollywood, Dawn decided to return to the UK but it wasn't smooth sailing. She recounted: 'We were living in LA and I just said to Chris, I've got to go back to London to try and claw back my career. 'And we came back to London for a bit and I'd go for these meetings at TV production companies and I'd been successful. 'I had my own series on Channel 4… and they'd be like, 'What do you want to do?' and I was like, 'I want to do what I do'. But no one wanted to employ me.' The mum-of-two had a regular column with Stylist magazine which she was dropped by and that really affected her confidence. 'I was cool. I had my own show on Channel 4… then as my career just kind of… declined, I think they looked at me and were like, well she's just not that interesting anymore,' Dawn revealed, 'It was the final blow to my confidence. I was absolutely on the floor because I always felt that writing would be the thing that saved me. Dawn released her first novel in 2013, Paper Aeroplanes, which is a fictional story loosely inspired by her upbringing in Guernsey. She went on to release The Cows in 2016 which earned her a place on the Sunday Times Best Sellers List. 'I've worked with Lorraine for three decades this is what she's like off-screen'

Dr Hilary Jones has worked with Lorraine Kelly on ITV for over 35 years, and has shared what the Scottish presenter is really like behind the scenes after they both released books ITV's Dr Hilary Jones has opened up about his long-standing colleague Lorraine Kelly, sharing insights into their 35-year working relationship and the Scottish presenter's character. ‌ The health expert, who is celebrating the release of his third novel Under Darkening Skies, spoke candidly about their mutual appreciation for each other's written work and gave a glimpse into what it's like to work with Lorraine off-air. ‌ In an exclusive conversation with he disclosed: "Oh, she's lovely. Lorraine - people often say, 'What is Lorraine really like?' and I say she's exactly as she comes across. ‌ "She's engaging, she's interested in people, she's genuine, and she's great fun. I've worked with her for over 35 years, and she's written her books as well, so we've read each other's books." It's not just Lorraine who Dr Hilary has praised as he commented: "Of course, people like Shaun Wallace-I've come across on The Chase-a lovely guy-very well read. I read his book as well." ‌ Under Darkening Skies will hit the shelves on July 31st, as reported by the Express. These revelations from Dr Hilary emerge amidst ITV's announcement of significant scheduling changes, including alterations to the broadcast frequency of Lorraine's show. Starting from 2026, Lorraine will air for only 30 weeks per year, a change that will also affect Loose Women. ‌ Lorraine's airtime is set to be halved, with Good Morning Britain extending by an extra half-hour ending at 9:30am. In the new schedule, on days without Lorraine, GMB will broadcast from 6am until 10am. ‌ Kevin Lygo, director of ITV's media and entertainment division, shared his thoughts on the changes: "Daytime is a really important part of what we do, and these scheduling and production changes will enable us to continue to deliver a schedule providing viewers with the news, debate and discussion they love from the presenters they know and trust as well generating savings which will allow us to reinvest across the programme budget in other genres. "These changes also allow us to consolidate our news operations and expand our national, international and regional news output and to build upon our proud history of trusted journalism at a time when our viewers need accurate, unbiased news coverage more than ever. "I recognise that our plans will have an impact on staff off-screen in our Daytime production teams, and we will work with ITV Studios and ITN as they manage these changes to produce the shows differently from next year, and support them through this transition. "Daytime has been a core element of ITV's schedule for over 40 years and these changes will set ITV up to continue to bring viewers award-winning news, views and discussion as we enter our eighth decade."
