Handball: Egypt U-19 reach World Championship quarters after hard-fought draw with Denmark
The Egyptians trailed 17-14 at halftime but rallied in the second half to share points with the Danish team.
It was Egypt's second draw in the main round, following a 35-35 result against the Czech Republic on Monday to finish second of Group D with four points, one behind leaders Denmark.
Egypt will face Spain in the quarter-finals on Thursday, while Denmark take on Iceland on the same day.

On Sunday, Salah, the Liverpool and Egypt forward, reposted UEFA's brief condolence message on X to his 19.4 million followers, asking: 'Can you tell us how he died, where, and why?' The message was in tribute to Al-Obeid, known as the 'Palestinian Pele,' who, according to the Palestine Football Association (PFA), was killed last week in an Israeli airstrike in southern Gaza. Al-Obeid, 41, scored more than 100 goals in his career and earned 24 caps for Palestine. The PFA says 421 footballers, including 103 children, have been killed or died from starvation in Gaza since the war began, with 288 sports facilities damaged or destroyed. Bournemouth splash out on Diakite as Zabarnyi replacement - World
Bournemouth completed the signing of centre-back Bafode Diakite from Lille on Wednesday to help fill the void left by Illia Zabarnyi's move to Paris Saint-Germain. Preview: PSG set to meet Tottenham in UEFA Super Cup - World
Paris Saint-Germain get back on the hunt for trophies in the UEFA Super Cup against Tottenham on Wednesday. It's the annual early-season match between the winners of the Champions League and Europa League — and PSG starts as the big favorite. Coming off winning the treble, including the Champions League for the first time, the Qatari-backed team from the French capital will look to bounce back from losing to Chelsea in the final of the Club World Cup in the United States. Facing them at Stadio Friuli in Udine is another London club in Tottenham, which ended a 17-year wait for silverware by winning the Europa League by beating Manchester United in the final.
