I've got a 15-2 each-way tip for Goodwood who can serve it up to red-hot favourite Field Of Gold in the Sussex Stakes

The chances are Field Of Gold will bang in a third Group 1 on the trot in this afternoon's £1million Sussex Stakes, the feature of coverage on ITV.
The Sussex has hosted some of the great horses.
I'm talking Chief Singer, Zilzal, Giant's Causeway, Rock Of Gibraltar, Frankel, Kingman, Mohaather and Baaeed. Now that's a roll of honour.
Field Of Gold was unlucky not to win the 2,000 Guineas, for all that he took an age to get going, but was brilliant in the Irish equivalent and the St James's Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot, where the re-opposing Henri Matisse was given a lot to do but ran on well.
John & Thady Gosden's grey is probably just too good under William Buick, replacing owner Juddmonte's banned retained rider Colin Keane.
But before the 48hr decs I told anyone who'd listen that with three places HENRI MATISSE (3.05) was a cracking each-way bet and I'm sticking with it even though we only get two positions now.
Aidan O'Brien's French Guineas victor will be better placed here than he was at Ascot.
The Sussex is no two-horse race.
Waiting for the three-year-olds is Rosallion, last year's Irish 2,000 Guineas victor and also a St James's Palace Stakes hero.
This season he was third in the Lockinge and second in the Queen Anne.
He's a class act for Sean Levey and Richard Hannon.
Day 2 starts with a handicap for three-year-olds over 1m4f. It's a small field for a race like this.
SUDU (1.20) is progressing well and looks a strong stayer for Roger Varian.
Silvestre De Sousa takes the mount on a horse who caught the eye when fourth at Newbury (looked unlucky in running) before heading to Epsom and scoring readily.
A mark of 86 looks reasonable to me and the gelded son of Teofilo has a proper chance.
We go up in class for the Group 3 Oak Tree Stakes next.
BRIGHT THUNDER (1.55) is a solid each-way bet for Sam James and Karl Burke.
The recent Deauville winner has the pace to handle 7f no problem at all, and her second to Spiritual at Epsom was pretty useful form.
She's run well here before when third to Crimson Advocate in the Conqueror and that effort came after a bad stumble at the start.
In the Group 3 Molecomb I like the look of MILITARY CODE (2.30) who got mugged by Staya at Sandown last time.
The Wootton Bassett colt had looked very promising early this season when scoring at Newmarket and Ascot but didn't get home over 6f in the Coventry when fancied.
Five furlongs is his trip for now and he should have solid credentials to pounce late.
Finally OUR GOLDEN ONE (3.45) might just outrun long odds for Tom Ward.
She was a staying on third at Chester last time and that came after dropping in trip.
She had been tried in Listed company earlier in the season at this track.
She could have a bit more about her than just being a handicapper. A few quid each-way.

Ralph Beckett's Camelot colt is better judged on his blistering Sandown win that kicked off this season. He shapes like this trip will be ideal and has more to come off a fair mark. The yard has another chance with Cape Breton who won nicely from the front at Salisbury. This is tougher but there's more to come. Sudu deserves this hike in grade after winning by seven lengths at Epsom earlier this month. He's been hiked 11lb but has lots of talent. Omni Man was a solid fifth at Royal Ascot on a tough handicap debut. He likes this trip and Ryan Moore rides for Joseph O'Brien. They have every chance. Ameeq got clattered by a rival jockey's whip when finishing strongly behind superstar Charles Darwin in the Norfolk Stakes last time. That was a smart performance he relishes this trip. A repeat of that would take him close. Sands Of Spain showed lots of zip when third in the Super Sprint at Newbury and still looked green so there should be more to come. Argentine Tango is proven at Listed level over 6f and could nick a place if the pace isn't too hot. 3.05 FIELD OF GOLD looks on a different level to his elders and can follow in his sire Kingman's hoofprints by winning the Sussex Stakes. Rosallion already has a couple of Group 1s on his CV but it was a bit surprising that Docklands was able to hold off his challenge at Royal Ascot. Field sights set on Sussex gold
Narrowly denied Classic glory in the 2000 Guineas at Newmarket, John and Thady Gosden's grey has made no mistake in two subsequent starts, demonstrating his dazzling acceleration in both the Irish Guineas and the St James's Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot. His sire Kingman landed both of those Group One events before completing his hat-trick in this race 11 years ago and Field Of Gold is odds-on to follow suit in the hands of William Buick, who takes over in the saddle from the suspended Colin Keane. It's very different to the round mile of Ascot or the Curragh, that's for sure,' said John Gosden. 'He does have that great turn of foot, let's hope we get a clear run and he can produce it on the day. 'His father won the Sussex in somewhat cheeky fashion, it was an extraordinary race. They literally crawled, then sprinted in the last two furlongs, and fortunately we got it just right on the line.' Field Of Gold renews rivalry with St James's Palace runner-up Henri Matisse, who had previously landed the French 2000 Guineas for Aidan O'Brien. The Wootton Bassett colt has three and a half lengths to find with the hot favourite from their Royal Ascot meeting and O'Brien is keeping his fingers crossed he can at least close the gap. 'So far everything has gone well since Ascot and we're looking forward to seeing him run,' he said. 'We think he's gone the right way since Ascot.' The older brigade is headed by Docklands and Rosallion, who were split by just a nose when second in the Queen Anne Stakes at the Royal meeting. Harry Eustace, the trainer of Docklands, said: 'The track should suit him. He has run there before (in 2023) and to the eye was a little disappointing, but it was his first run off the back of his win in the Britannia and, in hindsight, I don't know whether I had him 100 per cent. 'He handled Epsom well, so I have no problem with the cambers at Goodwood. The quality of the race might be another matter. 'It can't be overstated how important he's been for us for the last three years. We'll cherish his two wins at Royal Ascot forever. 'We're a relatively young business and he is by a long way our flagship horse – he has been key to everything that's happened since.' Meanwhile, Richard Hannon will be looking to replicate some of the great days his father enjoyed in this race with the likes of Canford Cliffs and Toronado as he runs his stable star Rosallion. Like Field Of Gold, the son of Blue Point suffered defeat in the 2000 Guineas before landing Classic honours in Ireland and then scoring at Royal Ascot and his loyal pilot Sean Levey is relishing this mouthwatering clash of generations. He told Ladbrokes: 'There's no doubt Field Of Gold is going to be very difficult to beat, based on what we've seen of him so far. He's an exceptional horse, but I think we have the right attributes to take him on. 'He's a four-year-old this year which means he has to give away weight, but he's improved with every run, in my opinion, from the Lockinge to just being denied at Ascot in the Queen Anne. He's improved, as good horses do, and I know he's in a really good place coming into this. 'To be fair, I think we were very unlucky to be denied in the Queen Anne by what was literally the flare of a nostril and he ran into a specialist in Docklands, who was very good on the day. 'But Goodwood is a different story altogether and Rosallion is a good horse who has shown his versatility across a number of racetracks.'
