With a bold exterior, the new TIGGO 4 showcases Chery's signature "Tiger Face" flashing a biomimetic tiger face front design that exudes strength and sophistication. The vehicle features a new fog lamp contour, innovative tiger claw headlights, a starry diamond-shaped grille, and vertical crystal outline marker lamps, with a dynamic side view poised for action. At the rear, the TIGGO 4 boasts a wide contour and a mesmerizing tiger stripe through the tail lamp.
On the inside, the spacious and luxurious cabin has retained the usual TIGGO 4 comfort with a single-zone air conditioning system coupled with second-row air vents. Chery South Africa has introduced the Tiggo 8 CSH Hybrid, a seven-seater SUV combining a 1.5L petrol engine with an electric motor to deliver 255kW of power and 525Nm of torque. The vehicle offers a combined driving range of up to 1,200km and an all-electric range of up to 90km. Efficiency and performance Chery claims the Tiggo 8 CSH achieves fuel consumption as low as 1.3L/100km under optimal conditions, rising to 5.2L/100km when the battery charge falls below 30%. Chinese Chery's Omoda, Jaecoo brands launch in Iraq with Jameel as distributor
Jameel Motors has signed a deal to distribute automaker Chery's Omoda and Jaecoo brands in Iraq, the two companies said on Monday, joining other Chinese companies that have entered the country's small but growing car market. Facing a brutal price war at home in China and effectively shut out of the U.S. market by tariffs, Chinese automakers are rapidly expanding into emerging markets and Europe in pursuit of higher profits. Jameel will initially distribute the Omoda C5 and C7 and the Jaecoo J5, J7 and J8 in Iraq. All of those models will be petrol cars with the exception of the J7, which is a plug-in hybrid. Owned by the Saudi Jameel family, Jameel has in recent months agreed a number of distribution contracts with Chinese automakers, including with Changan in South Africa and GAC in the United Kingdom and Poland. Other Chinese brands including Changan, SAIC's MG, Geely, Great Wall Motor and Jetour, another Chery brand, have already launched sales in Iraq.
