debuted on Netflix. After dominating weekend television on Colors and Sony for years, the move was expected to broaden his audience base and tap into digital viewership. Initially, the gamble seemed to pay off. The premiere episode of Season 3, featuring Salman Khan, pulled in 1.6 million views and clocked 1.9 million hours watched, according to Netflix. However, as the season progressed, a clear dip in numbers began to emerge.
Netflix says that it calculates views by dividing total watch time by episode runtime, which does not directly represent individual viewer count. The second episode, starring the cast of Metro In Dino, reportedly garnered 2 million views, but this figure reflected combined views for the first two episodes during the show's second week—Netflix did not break down the episode-specific data.

Despite the drop in global rankings, The Great Indian Kapil Show continues to be among Netflix India's most watched and talked-about titles. The upcoming episode is set to feature digital content creators Raj Shamani, Saurabh Dwivedi, Kamiya Jani, and Samdish Bhatia.
