Ex-Miss A Member Min Weds In Star-Studded Ceremony; Suzy's Absence Reignites Discord Rumours
Over the weekend, former Miss A (미쓰에이) member Min (민) tied the knot in a stunning wedding ceremony. Many Korean stars joined in on the celebrations. However, netizens can't help but notice one person was missing from the event.
On 7th June 2025 (Saturday), the singer married her non-celebrity husband in a private ceremony in Seoul. Photos and videos from the ceremony made their way onto social media, revealing the star-studded guest list. Amongst those in attendance at the event were Min's Miss A groupmates Fei (王霏霏/페이) and Jia (孟佳/지아), f(x)'s (에프엑스) Amber (엠버), 2PM's (투피엠) Wooyoung (우영) and Taecyeon (택연), and 2AM's (투에이엠) Jo Kwon (조권), Changmin (창민) and Jinwoon (진운).
Netizens and K-pop fans cheered over the gathering of K-pop stars and the reunion of Miss A at the wedding. Some also said it was a reunion of former JYP Entertainment talents, as Wonder Girls (원더걸스) member Sunye (선예) was also at the event. Unfortunately, fellow Miss A member Bae Suzy (배수지) was nowhere to be found at the ceremony. As the 30-year-old was the only one out of the K-pop quartet to skip the wedding, it reignited a long-running rumour.
For context, there were previously rumours of discord between the Miss A members and Suzy. The speculation arose long before the group's disbandment in 2017, with some fans claiming that Suzy was ostracised by her fellow members as they had never shown support for her solo projects. There were also rumours that Min had bullied Suzy during their trainee days, but the former denied the allegations.
Following Suzy's no-show at Min's wedding, the discord rumours resurfaced, sparking mixed reactions from netizens. As this is likely the first time the group would've reunited since their disbandment, fans were disappointed that Suzy wasn't at the wedding with her fellow members. On the other hand, some criticised Min for not inviting Suzy to her wedding. However, others defended the new bride, saying groupmates don't have to remain friends.
Despite the discussions online, the wedding appeared to be a happy occasion, with cheers for the happy couple. We also want to congratulate Min and her husband on their marriage.

#SHOWBIZ: Renowned K-pop producer Teddy Park to introduce new co-ed group Allday Project
SEOUL: A new K-pop group is set to make waves in the industry soon, emerging from one of its most influential producers. The Black Label, led by renowned hitmaker Teddy Park, is preparing to debut Allday Project, a five-member co-ed group, on June 23. This news comes from a recent report by The Korea Herald. The group will consist of two male and three female members: Annie, Tarzzan, Bailey, Woochan, and Youngseo. Their line-up was officially unveiled today with the launch of Allday Project's social media accounts on X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, and Facebook. Park, 46, is widely recognised as the creative force behind many of BlackPink's global hits, and he's expected to bring a fresh perspective to this new venture. Among the members, two are already generating considerable excitement: Youngseo and Annie. Youngseo gained popularity as a finalist on the survival show 'R U Next?', where she secured second place and was initially expected to debut with the girl group ILLIT. However, she later parted ways with Belift Lab, and the group proceeded without her. Meanwhile, Annie, whose real name is Moon Seo-yoon, is attracting attention due to her prominent background; she is the eldest daughter of Shinsegae chairperson Chung Yoo-kyung and the granddaughter of Shinsegae group chair Lee Myung-hee.
