The 42-year-old was shocked as the neighbour said she would report her to the Homeowners Association (HOA) because she 'knew' what Holly was up to.
The model – who has made a fortune from her raunchy career as an adult content creator – had the perfect response.
'I was a bit shocked by the whole thing,' said the mum-of-three, who has 1.6m followers on Instagram @holly.johnston_xo.
'I'm used to people criticising me online because they're hiding behind their screens and often don't even use their real name or photo.
'But it's pretty ballsy to attack me in person.
'I was at a neighbourhood BBQ and wanted a nice photo to share online.
'It wasn't reportedly sexy – just a quick pic of me in a summer dress.
'This random mum came up to me and said 'I know what you're doing this for – you need to stop or I'll report you to HOA'.
'I just smiled and replied: 'Please do'.
'Her facial reaction was priceless.
I'm mum shamed on the school run for my sexy outfit and having a gun drawn on my face
'She stormed off in a huff and appeared surprised that I hadn't just given in to her demand and put my phone away.'
Holly, who recently moved to Texas, is no stranger to facing backlash from conservative neighbours or even strangers.
The mum, who is a Mormon, feels much of the negativity comes from jealousy.
She said: 'I just know people are jealous of me and the money I make.
Can you be dress coded for wearing crop tops in public?
The concept of being "dress coded" typically applies to specific environments such as schools, workplaces, or certain establishments where dress codes are enforced to maintain a particular standard or atmosphere.
In public spaces, however, the situation is generally more relaxed and governed by societal norms rather than strict rules.
That said, whether or not you can be dress coded for wearing a crop top in public largely depends on the context and location:
Public Spaces: In most public spaces, like parks, streets, and beaches, wearing a crop top is generally acceptable and unlikely to result in any formal repercussions. People have the freedom to dress as they choose, provided they adhere to basic standards of decency and local laws.
Establishments and Venues: Some restaurants, shops, or clubs may have their own dress codes. It's possible that a crop top might not meet the dress requirements for more formal venues. In such cases, staff may politely request that you adhere to their dress code or deny entry.
Schools and Workplaces: Educational institutions and workplaces often have dress codes in place. Crop tops may be considered inappropriate in these settings, and you could be asked to change into more suitable attire.
Cultural and Regional Considerations: In certain cultures or regions, norms and expectations around acceptable clothing can vary widely. It's always a good idea to be aware of and respect local customs and dress codes when travelling.
'I definitely get scowls from women in the community but I get big smiles from their husbands.
'I live in a small town.
'When I first got here, I tried to hide my career – not because I'm ashamed but because I couldn't be bothered to deal with other people's opinions.
'But they definitely know what I do now and it's starting to become a bit of an issue.
'Other than the constant scowls, I've had women mutter 'Get a real job' or 'Go to hell'.
'One older lady called me a 'hussy'.
'I couldn't stop laughing – I haven't heard that term in forever!'
While some people might tone it down to appease the neighbours, Holly says the dirty looks only fuel her confidence.
She said: 'They remind me that what I'm doing is not only for myself but to give other women – in the church or not – the empowerment to express ourselves how we really want to.
'To anyone who whispers behind my back, thank you – I'm flattered that you spend so much time thinking about and gossiping about me.
'It makes no difference to my life.
'Why not start your own content creator account? I'll even give you some free tips.'

Princess Andre, 18, teases drastic career change after reality TV success
Princess Andre has revealed her next career move following the breakout success of her documentary, The Princess Diaries. The 18-year-old has been making numerous headlines in recent weeks following the season finale of her hit ITV2 reality show. Earlier this week, Katie Price hit back at her ex-husband Peter Andre after he shared a blistering Instagram post in which he strongly criticised his ex-wife after reported comments about his children's welfare. Princess then responded to the drama, saying: 'I love my mum and dad and that's all that matters.' Now, however, the 18-year-old has opened up about a potential career change in an exciting development. Speaking to The Sun, she said: 'I want to be a successful businesswoman which I am actually heading towards at the moment. So hopefully in five years time, it will all be up there. 'I also want to get into music.' This comes after her father Peter shot to fame with his 1995 hit Mysterious Girl. Her brother Junior, 20, also shared his five-year plan, saying: 'Music, acting, business stuff, some clothing stuff, some fragrance stuff, just all of that stuff. 'We've got amazing things coming. Obviously the industry is very [up and down] but it's always about picking yourself up and getting back to it.' Katie and Peter first met on I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here in 2004 and went on to have two children together – Princess, 18, and Junior, 20 – before separating in 2009. In her new ITV series, the show focuses on Princess's relationship with fame and carving out her own reputation beyond her celebrity parents. Princess also opened up about the difficulties she faced growing up with 'a lot on her plate'. The social media influencer, who has 782k followers on Instagram, shared what she went through after Katie and her ex-husband Kieran Hayler broke up in 2018 after five years together. She said: 'We got really close to him and loved him. He did a lot of stuff, and when they split up, everything kind of went downhill. My mum, obviously, being heartbroken, didn't deal with that the best way. 'She went through a very, very dark time, which was understandable. It was hard for me because I was around adulty things that kids should never see. More Trending 'I think, as well, when we needed our mum there, she wasn't emotionally able to be there because she had so much of her own problems going on.' This prompted Kieran to apologise to his former stepdaughter. The personal trainer, 38, said he regrets his multiple affairs that ended his marriage to Katie, which had a devastating impact on Princess's childhood. Inside the huge Portuguese hotel that's its own holiday destination – with pop star shows and swim-up cocktail bars
Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) YOU don't often get to sip a cocktail on a clifftop, under an orange sunset, while Ronan Keating prepares to perform for you. But it turns out that's exactly what you can expect at the Pine Cliffs Resort on the sun-kissed Algarve. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up 7 Pine Cliffs has lofty views set amid stunning nature Credit: Supplied 7 The tempting hotel pool Credit: Supplied 7 The hotel's thermal oasis Credit: Supplied Set among fragrant pine trees and perched high above the golden sands of Portugal's most stunning coastline, Pine Cliffs isn't just a resort, it's a destination. Think postcard-perfect beaches, a backdrop of red-ochre cliffs and five-star facilities that make you feel like A-listers. Our trip coincided with Pine Cliffs' annual Summer Gala, the resort's most glamorous event of the year. And it truly delivered on every front. The evening began with a glitzy cocktail reception on the manicured green of the driving range, as the golden Algarve sun dipped behind the cliffs. A saxophonist filled the air with smooth jazz while guests mingled over glasses of fizz. Taking our seats at tables with pearly white linen for an extravagant three-course buffet, we were serenaded by various singers. Then came the show-stopping moment: Ronan Keating took to the stage. The former Boyzone member's voice, as smooth as the champagne, had the crowd singing, swaying and swooning. To top the night off, when Ronan finished his last song, fireworks burst into the summer sky, lighting it up. We couldn't have asked for a more magical night. But the gala was just the cherry on top of what turned out to be one of the most relaxing getaways we've ever had. Martin Lewis warns about strict passport rule that could see you board your flight - only to get sent home on arrival Pine Cliffs is a haven for both adrenaline junkies and sun-worshippers. The resort also seems as able to cater for family fun as it can for couples on romantic getaways. While I happily spent hours lounging on Falesia beach, sunbathing with a book, my partner Jonah threw himself into the water sports. He loved paddle-boarding along the clear, calm shoreline. I won't lie — it was more wobbly than graceful, but he laughed the whole way through. The resort also offers kayaking, jet skis and couch/banana boat rides. For those in search of next-level pampering, the Serenity Spa at Pine Cliffs is unmissable. I indulged in the 80-minute Senses Of The Algarve body scrub, a heavenly experience blending local carob and soothing oils. The therapists here are miracle workers, and I floated out of the spa feeling like I'd left all my stress on the massage table. While the resort has various accommodation options, including villas and apartments, we were staying in the main hotel. Our room was spacious and beautifully presented, with a luxurious, oversized bathroom that felt like a private spa. If you're a foodie — and who isn't on holiday — Pine Cliffs will spoil you rotten A highlight was the charming terrace, perfect for relaxing while taking in the fresh Algarve air. But the highlight? The Wagyu steak at the Piri Piri Steak House was hands down the best we've ever tasted. Melt-in-the-mouth perfection. Pristine golf course Our waiter Paolo was so knowledgeable and made the entire meal an experience. The resort has 15 top-tier restaurants and bars, from the elegant O Pescador, serving seafood with ocean views, to Zest, where we grabbed healthy poke bowls and salads for lunch. And for a romantic lunch, Maré at Pine Cliffs Beach Club offered the perfect seaside setting with fresh grilled fish and chilled vinho verde. Jonah, an avid golfer, was in his element on Pine Cliffs' spectacular nine-hole golf course, perched on the cliff edge with jaw-dropping views over the Atlantic. He played twice during our stay and raved about the challenging layout and pristine condition. We also both enjoyed a one-hour padel-tennis lesson with ace coach Joao. Burning off some of the incredible meals, while having such fun, was great. We're now completely hooked on the sport. The staff couldn't have been more welcoming, and the service was impeccable There are also tennis courts, a gym with spectacular sea views, and even a kids' club if you're travelling as a family. The resort's eight swimming pools are another highlight. From an adults-only oasis in the Serenity spa to a large family lagoon-style option, there is a pool to suit every taste. We particularly enjoyed the one by Corda Café at the heart of the resort — perhaps due to its swim-up cocktail bar! Pine Cliffs manages to blend luxury with a warm, relaxed atmosphere. The staff couldn't have been more welcoming, and the service was impeccable. Whether you're after a romantic escape, an active break, or a place to unwind in set in stunning natural surroundings, Pine Cliffs ticks every box — and then some. We came for Ronan . . . but stayed for the sun, sea, steak and serenity. Once you've experienced Pine Cliffs, you'll be planning your next visit before you've even left.

I like posting sexy pics but there's thing I'd never do says Emmerdale's Rebecca Sarker as she tells all about soap role
The soap star's posts have also attracted compliments from men describing her as 'beautiful' — but Rebecca makes it very clear she is happily married SOAP SIREN I like posting sexy pics but there's thing I'd never do says Emmerdale's Rebecca Sarker as she tells all about soap role Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) Emmerdale actress Rebecca Sarker loves posing in cheeky outfits – after proud husband Rico convinced her to show off her sizzling figure on social media. But unlike her character Dr Manpreet Sharma, who posted racy snaps on a fictional subscription site, the soap star says she would not strip off for OnlyFans. Sign up for the Entertainment newsletter Sign up 6 I like posting sexy pics but I'd never go on OnlyFans, says Rebecca Sarker Credit: Getty 6 Rebecca Sarker was urged to show off her incredible figure on Instagram by her proud husband Credit: Instagram/rebeccasarker When Rebecca first joined the ITV soap, she would share behind-the-scenes pictures for her followers on social media — until Rico convinced her to be bolder. In an exclusive interview, Rebecca, 50, says: 'A few years ago I had been doing some stunt scenes for Emmerdale wearing Lycra pants and a sports bra. 'I sent a picture of me to my husband as I'd been doing some working out and I thought I looked quite good. 'He said, 'Post it on Instagram'. My immediate reaction was, 'No, no, I can't post that'. 'But after checking with the production team asking if it was too outrageous, I was assured it wasn't.' Since then, Rebecca has regularly posted pics of herself in swimsuits and outfits showing off her fab figure. She admits she loves it and is flying the flag for older women after getting such a positive reaction. Rebecca says: 'I've had a lot of really lovely responses — mainly from women. 'They have sent nice messages saying, 'Yeah come on . . . #strongwoman and #girlpower'.' 'Nothing wrong with a bikini holiday snap' Her posts have also attracted compliments from men describing her as 'beautiful' — but Rebecca, who is mum to two boys aged 19 and 14, makes it very clear she is happily married. Emmerdale episode sees Manpreet and and Ruby arrested She says: 'I think my posts are sufficiently tongue-in-cheek for people to know what I am doing. 'This is just a little sideline. This is fun and it works for me. 'I see my Instagram as like a brand. I won't post any pictures of my family and friends unless they want me to. 'I like keeping fit. I try to go three times a week to either the gym or I go out cycling, and I did ITV's The Games in 2022 too. This is me saying, 'I like staying healthy'. Manpreet was emotionally vulnerable when she set up her subscription account. She had a failed relationship behind her and needed a boost to her self-esteem Rebecca 'There is nothing wrong with posting a bikini holiday snap on Instagram. It's me being a bit cheeky, having some fun and it's a chance to show I am happy in myself with how I look and happy being fit and healthy.' It's a far different story for Rebecca's character. In March, village GP Manpreet shared intimate pictures of herself after setting up a profile on a site called Fans Only. But she was distraught when a mystery person threatened to expose her unless she handed over £5,000. Mortified, Manpreet was forced to close the account down before discovering scheming businessman Joe Tate was behind the blackmail plot. Rebecca says: 'Manpreet was emotionally vulnerable when she set up her subscription account. She had a failed relationship behind her and needed a boost to her self-esteem. 'It was a lot of fun to play this storyline but there certainly wouldn't be a blurring of fiction and reality for me, as Rebecca.' 6 Rebecca's posts have also attracted compliments from men describing her as 'beautiful' Credit: Instagram/rebeccasarker 6 There is nothing wrong with posting a bikini holiday snap on Instagram. It's me being a bit cheeky, says Rebecca Credit: Instagram But she adds with a laugh: 'I wouldn't say no to an Only Flans account, though — I love baking.' This week viewers have seen the actress in another major storyline. Manpreet finally discovered her sister Meena was a murderer after she killed three people in 2022. She has also had a romance with vicar Charles Anderson and a one-night stand in April with bad boy Ross Barton — which led to her ending up in a police cell after a catfight with fiery Ruby Milligan, played by Beth Cordingly. Ladies man Ross had also dated Ruby's daughter Steph, who has now left the village for good. Rebecca says: 'Ruby is understandably very protective of her daughter and blames Manpreet's one-night stand with Ross for Steph's exit. 'When she saw Manpreet canoodling again with Ross on the doorstep, she put two and two together to get five. 'They had a fight that led to a night in a police cell together. 'But after learning more about each other's past, they had a real 360 moment and it made them very mellow and sentimental. It was poignant, and soap drama at its best.' I am Yorkshire born and bred and it feels like going home whenever I am on set Rebecca It is this kind of drama that has kept Rebecca loving her job and never experiencing the urge to leave after seven years on the soap. She says: 'I haven't had the seven-year itch. I still love playing Manpreet just as much as I did when I joined. 'I love the fact every time I get a new story, it's something completely different and it introduces another facet to her character. She is never one-dimensional.' Rebecca — who has played two doctors on TV — grew up in Halifax, West Yorks, in a medical family. She says there was never any pressure from GP dad Khaleque or mum Elizabeth, a nurse, to go down the medical route, and her dentist brother persuaded her to try acting. Her first TV role, aged 23, was playing Nita Desai, part of Coronation Street's first Asian family, in 1999. She was a doctor in two episodes of EastEnders in 2007 before heading to Emmerdale. 6 Soap fans are now speculating about whether Manpreet and Ruby will now become best friends Credit: ITV 6 The actress admits she is excited to take part in whatever comes next for her character Credit: ITV But despite growing up in Yorkshire, she now lives in Essex and does the 200-mile commute to the studios every week, returning to her family on a Friday night. She admits that she was hesitant at first but her sons convinced her to take the job and it helped that her husband was able to work from home to be there for the boys. Rebecca says: 'I am Yorkshire born and bred and it feels like going home whenever I am on set. It's such a beautiful environment to be in. You go where the work is. It's a tough gig being an actor but it works very well and I am lucky to have a family that is so supportive while I am away. 'Actually, when I got the job, I didn't think I could do it but my kids said, 'Of course you can — don't be ridiculous. We will make it work'. 'Nobody is bigger than the show' 'I take my lead from them and if it ever felt too difficult or it was affecting them adversely I would have to rethink. But they are brilliant. 'They were 12 and seven when I joined and now they are 19 and 14 — so juggling has got a bit easier too.' Soap fans are now speculating about whether Manpreet and Ruby will now become best friends. Rebecca says: 'These are two women who can be brutally honest with each other and say it as it is. 'Ruby has never had that before. Their connection is now too strong to dissipate.' The actress admits she is excited to take part in whatever comes next for her character. Rebecca says: 'I love seeing her develop. She has some great lines and I hope viewers think she is real and plausible. 'I do feel she has more to offer but obviously nobody is bigger than the show. 'If my time ever comes up, so be it, and I have had a wonderful time. 'But I love it on Emmerdale. I am proud to be a part of it.'
