The live-action Legend of Zelda movie has cast its two leads, with Benjamin Evan Ainsworth as Link and Bo Bragason as Zelda. Both actors have a relatively small list of credits to their respective names, but it seems Bragason is nonetheless already a veteran of video game adaptations, thanks to a role in the Final Fantasy 15 prequel Kingsglaive.
Kingsglaive is essentially a feature-length film prequel to Final Fantasy 15, setting up the world and telling a story that intertwines with the early parts of the game. It's not as well-remembered as Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children, but Kingsglaive did manage a limited theatrical release, though admittedly it did so to pretty dismal reviews.
The film opens with a brief prologue sequence about three minutes long, taking place 12 years before the main action and showing a young Noctis and Lunafreya fleeing an assassination attempt. The motion capture for this young version of Lunafreya is credited to none other than Bragason.
Young Luna is only on screen for a few seconds, but hey, that's more than enough for Bragason to have earned her motion capture credit. She would've been roughly 12 years old at the time of Kingsglaive's release, so she got some experience portraying a video game princess very early.
Of course, Princess Zelda is a far more notable character, and there's a big difference between a motion capture cameo and a leading role in a live-action film. But now you're equipped to astound and amaze your friends that the same actor has helped bring film versions of notable video game princesses to life across both The Legend of Zelda and Final Fantasy.
Personally, I think it's a crime FF15 isn't on our list of the best Final Fantasy games, but my editors won't listen no matter how many times I sing Stand By Me at them.

Need a camera to play Super Mario Jamboree? These are the Switch 2 cameras I'd grab right now

When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. The Nintendo Switch 2 edition of Super Mario Jamboree dropped last month, bringing with it a smorgasbord of brand-new features. There's new mini-games that utilize the Joy-Con 2 controllers' mouse controls, more rule sets, GameShare support, and most importantly, the game now makes the most of the new gaming handheld and its camera capabilities. If you have one of the best Switch 2 cameras at the ready, you can let your friends see your cheeky face as you steal stars, or as you shed a tear or two when the RNG doesn't quite go your way. Better yet, there's a new Bowser Live mode, which is entirely built around camera support with Sony Eye Toy-like gameplay for up to 4 players, which is entirely dependent on owning a camera. If you don't have one, don't fret. There's a whole bunch of compatible webcams out there for you to try out - so long as it uses a USB-C cable, you should be good to go. But for those of you who'd prefer the reassurance of an official first-party version, whether it's for some reassurance or you need the cute Hori Piranha Plant camera in your life, I've picked out all the official ones out there down below. The official Nintendo Switch 2 Camera isn't much to look at, but it will make your face look crystal clear with its 1080p resolution and it's handheld-mod ready too, so long as you have a spare surface for it to sit Hori USB Camera is compact in size and more ideal for those with limited space for their Switch 2 accessories, and you can even plug it directly into the top USB-C port of the Ninty handheld for some portable Super Mario Party Jamboree Hori Piranha Plant Camera is one of the most iconic official Switch 2 accessories so far, and transforms the iconic baddie into an adorable 480p camera, which can be used with the dock or on the buy a Switch 2 camera for Super Mario Jamboree? The brand-new Switch 2 edition of Super Mario Jamboree launched on July 24, and like the rest of the existing Switch 2 games lineup, it makes the most of the camera compatibility to introduce new game modes to spice things up a bit. Naturally, that means if you want to take advantage of everything the new version has to offer, you'll need either an official Switch 2 camera or a compatible webcam. Without them, you can still destroy friendships and play through the seven existing boards and game modes, but the brand-new Bowser Live segment relies entirely on the existence of a camera in order to place you, and three of your best pals, into the game. Nintendo Switch 2 Camera Resolution: 1080pConnectivity: USB-CHandheld mode compatible? Yes Great for: ✅ Super Mario Jamboree✅ Those with the space for its stand✅ Switch 2 GameChat Avoid if: ❌ You hate the boring design❌ You play mostly in handheld mode Compatible with: Game Chat, Mario Kart World, Super Mario Party Jamboree – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Jamboree TV View Deal The official Nintendo Switch 2 camera isn't that exciting to look at, but what it lacks in looks, it makes up for in specs - especially compared to the rest of the official Switch 2 camera lineup. The camera, which is still available for $54 at Amazon has a resolution of 1080p, which is pretty much what you'd want from any webcam, never mind one intended specifically for your new Ninty console. Even with a 1080p resolution, you'll still want to ensure your Switch 2 environment is as well-lit as possible, as this will go a long way in ensuring you and your friends appear nice and clear in Super Mario Jamboree - trust me, catching a glimpse of your friends' star envy in real-time and in his-res is worth it. It might not look it, but the official Switch 2 camera can also be used in handheld mode, so you can curl up on the sofa with Jamboree while re-watching the Super Mario Bros Movie on your TV. It still requires a flat surface to rest on, so it's not the most portable friendly camera of this bunch, so make sure you have a flat surface going spare first. Hori USB Camera for Nintendo Switch 2 Resolution: 480pConnectivity: USB-CHandheld mode compatible? Yes Great for: ✅ Super Mario Jamboree✅ Conserving Switch 2 gaming space✅ Handheld mode fans Avoid if: ❌ You don't want a 480p camera❌ You'd prefer a Switch 2 camera with a cute aesthetic Compatible with: Game Chat, Mario Kart World, Super Mario Party Jamboree – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Jamboree TV View Deal The Hori USB Camera for Nintendo Switch 2 isn't the best quality camera out of the bunch, as it only has a 480p resolution. That being said, if you're someone who wants to curl up on the sofa and play Super Mario Jamboree in handheld mode without giving up your camera capabilities, this is the camera for you. Hori's camera can attach directly to the top USB-C port of your Switch 2 and go with you wherever you please. This is less helpful for playing Bowser Live, and more helpful for GameChat, as your video chats with your friends don't have to end just because you want to pop a TV show on in the background and roam about your Hori camera also comes with a built-in sliding lens for privacy, and it has an adjustable neck so you can get the best viewing angle to show off your pretty face while playing Super Mario Party Jamboree, or even Mario Kart World, for that matter. HORI Piranha Plant Camera for Nintendo Switch 2 Resolution: 480pConnectivity: USB-CHandheld mode compatible? Yes Great for: ✅ Super Mario Jamboree✅ Die-hard Super Mario fans✅ Privacy-conscious players ✅ Those who need their Switch 2 setup as cute as possible Avoid if: ❌ Having a 1080p camera is a must❌ You're more of a Goomba fan Compatible with: Game Chat, Mario Kart World, Super Mario Party Jamboree – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Jamboree TV View Deal If you want a camera that evokes the same childlike wonder as playing through your favorite Nintendo games, the Hori Piranha Plant Switch 2 is the one for you. Out of every single officially licenced Switch 2 accessory so far, it's undoubtedly the most adorable as it takes the iconic and ferocious Mario baddie and transforms it into a practical bit of gaming tech. This camera won't chuck fireballs your way, but its mouth can be closed to act as a privacy slider, it has an adjustable stem, and it can be hooked up to your Switch 2 via your Switch 2 dock, or the USB-C port on your handheld itself. To do this, all you have to do is dislodge the Piranha Plant from its Mario pipe base and pop it into the USB-C port on the top of your handheld, and viola - all the fun Super Mario Jamboree times can be had. Just like the HORI USB camera, you've only got a 480p resolution at play here, which is a bit of a bummer. Again, the best way to circumnavigate any blurry imagery on-screen is to ensure your room is as well-lit as humanely possible. Whether you care more about your Switch 2 camera aesthetics than the picture quality is up to you, but 480p is still plenty to get the most out of Super Mario Jamboree. Wednesday's Creator Got Real About Jenna Ortega's Comments Regarding Having To Put Her Foot Down During Season 1

When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. Wednesday Season 2 will finally be premiering soon on the 2025 TV schedule, and the wait has been excruciating. It seems like forever since the series premiered on Netflix in 2022, but the second season will be here in a matter of days. Between seeing what Jenna Ortega's titular Addams Family character will be getting up to and the insane guest stars, there will be a lot to look forward to. A lot has also changed, not only in the show but behind the scenes, and Wednesday's creator is getting real about the star of the show putting her foot down in Season 1. Ortega has been open about how hard filming Wednesday's inaugural season was and revealed she had to put her foot down when it came to certain aspects. She worked long and hard hours on the show and even almost passed out while filming Season 1. While she received backlash after saying aspects of the show 'made no sense' and she was changing lines on set, she didn't let up. And it turned out to be a good thing, and creator Alfred Gough praised her for what she did and what it turned into while talking to The Hollywood Reporter: Jenna gave notes on the scripts. She's now a producer. She's very involved, and she has a 360-degree view of things that, frankly, you don't find with most actors. I think she'll have a long career. It likely wasn't easy for Ortega to really put her foot down about the environment on Wednesday and what she was experiencing. It also couldn't have been easy for Gough to hear about what was going on, and what the Scream actress thought of the series. But he seems to be liking the charge that she took. Now, as a producer, Ortega has more of a say and can better control things for the acclaimed Netflix hit. And I hope that Gough is right about Ortega having a long career. Jenna Ortega admitted to being an 'unhappy person' during Season 1, but her mentality has since changed since she's able to sit in on meetings, listen, and learn more. She also has a lot more say in what goes into the second season, like wanting to add more horror and gore to the show, which is what's happening. It should be interesting to see how different Season 2 is compared to Season 1, especially since it already sounds like there were some big changes. Ahead of Wednesday Season 2, the show has already had a third season renewal and is seemingly getting closer to a potential spinoff. It's not so surprising, considering the Addams Family has been a favorite for decades, and there are a lot of stories to tell. But a spinoff for Ortega's series has yet to be confirmed. Fans will soon see what Wednesday Season 2 is all about when the first part drops on August 6, followed by part 2 on September 3, with a Netflix subscription. There are also many upcoming titles on Netflix's schedule to look forward to. Solve the daily Crossword

Spider-Man: Brand New Day leaks are here already as filming begins – and they might have just confirmed Mister Negative as the film's villain

When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. It's been filming for mere hours, but major leaks have already emerged from the set of Spider-Man: Brand New Day. As spotted by one bystander on the streets of Glasgow, a heavy-duty armored truck was getting wheeled into position for a sequence in the fourth MCU Spider-Man movie. Look a little closer, however, and you'll see a red demon mark on its side. If you've played Insomniac's Spider-Man games, you might notice how closely that resembles the logo of the Inner Demons, led by a certain Mister Negative. It's something that has quickly sent fans into overdrive, too. It's worth tempering expectations just for now, however. As of writing, the villain for Spider-Man: Brand New Day hasn't been confirmed, nor have we had any announcement regarding which actor – if any – will be playing Mister Negative. A recent glimpse behind the scenes also hinted at D-list villains forming part of the film's rogues' gallery. First debuting in a Free Comic Book Day issue of The Amazing Spider-Man in 2007, Mister Negative (alias Martin Li) is often depicted as a ruthless gunrunner and crime lord who can utilize the power of the Darkforce to control minds, manipulate energy, and be imbued with superstrength. Notably, he worked to create the Devil's Breath, an immensely powerful bioweapon, and is perhaps best known for his appearances in Insomniac's Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2 games. Spider-Man: Brand New Day once again stars Tom Holland as the titular wallcrawler. He is joined by series mainstays Zendaya and Jacob Batalon, as well as Stranger Things actor Sadie Sink and Jon Bernthal, who reprises his role as The Punisher after entering the MCU as part of Daredevil: Born Again. Brand New Day also appears to be set before Avengers: Doomsday. Spider-Man: Brand New Day, directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, will swing into cinemas on July 31, 2026.
