Democratic Front to Trump: Genocide in Gaza not war between two armies

Saba Yemen06-08-2025
Gaza - Saba:
The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine affirmed on Wednesday that what is happening in the Gaza Strip is not a war between two regular armies, but rather a Zionist genocide against the Palestinian people.
In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), in response to US President Trump's statement, the Democratic Front said, "What is happening in Gaza, by all standards and recognized by international institutions and the International Court of Justice in The Hague, is genocide against the Palestinian people, perpetrated by the Zionist enemy state, which is strongly supported militarily and politically by the United States.
It practices systematic killing by gunfire, siege, starvation, deprivation of medicine, and all the necessities of daily life."
The Front condemned Trump's statement, in which he claimed that what is happening in the Gaza Strip is a war between two parties and not genocide, considering it a blatant distortion of the facts, attempting to conceal his complicity in genocide and killing, including his recent announcement of support for Netanyahu's decision to invade and occupy the entire Gaza Strip, under the pretext of searching for his prisoners held by the resistance.
It added, "Trump's statements about starvation in the Gaza Strip aim to beautify the ugly image of the enemy state, which, by the admission of the Israeli elites themselves, has become an internationally isolated state, with no one standing by its side except Trump and his administration."
The Democratic Front asserted that Trump's insistence on taking action to prevent famine or starvation in the Gaza Strip is nothing but empty claims, belied by overwhelming facts and the numbers of martyrs from hunger and starvation, as announced by international organizations, and the number of people killed searching for food at the so-called "Gaza Food Foundation" mass killing platforms.
The Front pointed out that the American press is lying to Trump, asserting that the total amount his administration has donated to provide food to the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip does not exceed $3 million, contrary to his claim that he has provided $60 million, which he apparently translated into bullets fired by enemy soldiers and vehicles at the starving women and children of the Gaza Strip.

Al-Quds Brigades strike Be'eri & Shokidah settlements , Israeli soldiers & equipment

Gaza – Saba: Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, announced today, Sunday, that it had targeted the Be'eri and Shokidah settlements in the Gaza envelope and struck Israeli soldiers and military equipment north of Khan Younis in southern Gaza. In two separate statements received by the Yemen News Agency (Saba), the Brigades said: 'We shelled the Be'eri and Shokidah settlements in the Gaza envelope with several rockets in response to the crimes of the Israeli enemy against our people.' They added: 'This afternoon, we fired mortar shells (60mm caliber) at concentrations of Israeli soldiers and equipment advancing along Street 5, north of Khan Younis.' This action comes as part of the Palestinian resistance factions' response to what they describe as the Israeli enemy's acts of mass killing against the residents of Gaza, supported by the United States, since October 7, 2023. These acts include killing, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, disregarding international appeals and orders from the International Court of Justice to halt them.

General People's Congress condemns Israeli attack on Hazeez Power Station

Sana'a - Saba: The General People's Congress strongly condemned what it described as a cowardly Israeli attack on the Yemeni capital, Sana'a. In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the party denounced the targeting of the Hazeez Power Station, which resulted in the facility going out of service and deprived residents of the capital and nearby areas of essential electricity needed for hospitals, water pumps, and other vital public services. The statement affirmed that such aggressions will not deter the Yemeni people from their steadfast support and solidarity with the Palestinian people, particularly in Gaza, nor from rejecting what it called Israel's genocidal war crimes, systematic starvation policies, and attempts to forcibly displace Gaza's residents in pursuit of eliminating the Palestinian cause — a goal the people of Gaza and the resilient Palestinian nation will ultimately thwart. The General People's Congress also renewed its criticism of global silence toward Israeli crimes, whether against the people of Gaza or through attacks on Yemen's infrastructure and public facilities, describing such acts as flagrant violations of international law and humanitarian norms. The party's statement further called on the United Nations and international organizations to assume their responsibilities and exert pressure on Israel to halt its crimes against Gaza's population , its targeting of Yemen's infrastructure and public utilities, stressing that this falls squarely within their legal obligations.

Student Activities in Jabal al-Sharq District, Dhamar, Celebrating Prophet's Birth Anniversary

Dhamar - Saba: The educational and student sector in schools across Jabal al-Sharq District, Dhamar Governorate, organized celebratory events on Sunday marking the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him and his family, under the slogan 'Welcome to the Anniversary of the Birth of Light.' Speeches delivered during the events — held at Al-Hurriya, Saba, Al-Sabeen, Uqba bin Nafi, and Rawad Al-Sharq Model Schools — highlighted the deep significance of the occasion in the hearts of Yemenis and their strong spiritual bond with the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him and his family. Speakers emphasized that commemorating the anniversary serves as a moment to renew loyalty, follow the Prophet's guidance, and embody his values , ethics in practice and daily life. They noted that such events are a message of love and fidelity to the Messenger, a reaffirmation of the principles of justice and freedom he brought, and a means of connecting younger generations with his noble legacy, thereby strengthening both religious and national awareness among students. The celebrations included poetry recitations, nasheed performances, and theatrical presentations that reflected the greatness of the occasion. Following the events, students from several schools staged solidarity rallies in support of Gaza, condemning the genocide and systematic starvation committed by the U.S.-backed Zionist enemy against the people of Gaza. Participants chanted slogans rejecting the blockade and forced displacement, affirming that the educational front will continue to stand firmly in support of the Palestinian people and resistance fighters until victory is achieved. They described the ongoing siege and starvation of Gaza's population as a full-fledged war crime, holding the Zionist entity and the U.S. administration fully responsible. Statements issued at the rallies stressed that the educational and student community will remain at the forefront of those standing with Palestine, considering this stance a principled position that cannot be compromised. The statements also called for marking the Prophet's birth anniversary by decorating schools, organizing celebratory activities, and ensuring wide participation in the central event at the Messenger al-A'zam Square in the governorate center on the 12th of Rabi' al-Awwal.
