Allocations for May salary getting prepared according to exceptional plan
The Ministries of Finance and Civil Service and Administrative Development confirmed the commencement of issuing financial reinforcements for May 2025 salaries to public service units included in the monthly disbursement list, in accordance with the State Employee Salary Replenishment Program, which stems from the Law on the Exceptional Mechanism for Providing State Employee Salaries and Repaying Small Depositors.
The two ministries explained in a joint statement, a copy of which was received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), that the reinforcements were issued through the Central Bank of Yemen, and through it to the General Postal Authority and the Cooperative Agricultural Credit Bank (CAC Bank), according to the lists issued by the Ministry of Civil Service.
The statement indicated that this is being done with the direct supervision of the President of the Supreme Political Council, Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, and the Prime Minister, Ahmed Al-Rahwi.
The statement reiterated the Government of Change and Construction's commitment to monthly disbursements in accordance with what was previously announced in accordance with the Law on the Exceptional Mechanism.
The statement noted that the exceptional mechanism for providing employee salaries and repaying small depositors represents exceptional, temporary solutions. It emphasized that this does not exempt the countries participating in the aggression against our country from paying salaries and compensation to all public service employees affected by the aggressor states that control oil and gas revenues, which previously covered the salary bill.

Occupation kills 58 Palestinians since dawn
Gaza – Saba: Fifty-eight Palestinian civilians were martyred and dozens of others injured on Sunday in ongoing Israeli attacks on various areas of the Gaza Strip since dawn, according to medical, local, and media sources monitored by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba). Israeli enemy forces targeted aid distribution centers, neighborhoods, homes, and civilian gatherings across Gaza in what observers describe as part of a continuing genocide campaign since October 7, 2023. Seven Palestinians were martyred by Israeli enemy gunfire while waiting for aid in the southern Gaza Strip, and another was martyred after the Zionist army directly targeted al-Tineh aid center in northwest Rafah. Two Palestinians were martyred and others wounded in an Israeli enemy airstrike on humanitarian aid security personnel near the intelligence area in northwest Gaza City. Medical and civil defense teams recovered the bodies of 22 martyrs from al-Shuja'iya and al-Tuffah neighborhoods in eastern Gaza City, including five martyred in a new strike on a civilian gathering in al-Zaytoun neighborhood. Elsewhere, 20 Palestinians were martyred and 44 injured when Israeli enemy forces opened fire on crowds waiting for aid at two distribution points in central and southern Gaza. Among them were: 9 martyrs west of Rafah, 6 on Salah al-Din Street in central Wadi Gaza, and 5 in al-Sudaniyya in northern Gaza. Three civilians were also martyred in an Israeli airstrike on a gathering in Al-Shuja'iya neighborhood in Gaza City. Earlier in the day, two Palestinians were martyred in an Israeli occupation strike on al-Amal School in Khan Younis's Japanese neighborhood. Meanwhile, a staff member of the Palestinian Red Crescent Society was martyred and three others injured in an Israeli strike on the association's headquarters, which ignited a fire on the building's first floor. With U.S. and European support, Israeli occupation continues to wage a genocidal war on Gaza that has, to date, resulted in the martyrdom of 60,839 civilians—mostly women and children—and injured 149,588 others, according to a non-final tally. Thousands remain trapped under rubble or on roadways unreachable by rescue teams. Whatsapp Telegram Email Print

Govt Media Office in Gaza: Israeli enemy prevents entry of 22,000 aid trucks piled up at crossings
Gaza – Saba: The Government Media Office in the Gaza Strip said on Sunday that the Israeli enemy continues to engineer starvation, blockade, and chaos, preventing the entry of 22,000 aid trucks piled up at the Gaza Strip crossings. In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the office confirmed that there are more than 22,000 humanitarian aid trucks currently stuck at the Gaza Strip crossing gates, most of which belong to UN and international organizations and various entities. It explained that the Israeli enemy is deliberately preventing the entry of this aid as part of a systematic policy of "engineering starvation, blockade, and chaos," as part of the ongoing genocide against more than 2.4 million people in the Gaza Strip. The Government Media Office condemned in the strongest terms the continued blockade, starvation of civilians, and withholding of aid, and considers it a full-fledged war crime that violates all international norms and conventions. It held the Israeli enemy, along with the countries involved through silence or complicity, fully responsible for the worsening humanitarian disaster and the disastrous consequences of depriving the population of food, medicine, and fuel. The office demanded the immediate, safe, and permanent entry of all detained trucks, the unconditional opening of the crossings, and ensuring the flow of aid to save the lives of civilians in the Gaza Strip before it is too late. Islamic Jihad: desecration of Al-Aqsa Mosque by criminal Ben Gvir, settler gangs is systematic escalation
Gaza - Saba: The Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine considered the dangerous desecration of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque this Sunday morning, led by the so-called Minister of National Security in the Zionist entity, the criminal Itamar Ben Gvir, along with more than 2,000 settler gangs, a systematic escalation of Zionist attacks on the mosque. The movement confirmed, in a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), that the criminal Ben Gvir and the settler gangs stormed the courtyards of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and performed Talmudic prayers in the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, under heavy protection from enemy forces. This is a systematic escalation of the ongoing Zionist attacks on the Al-Aqsa Mosque and a continuation of the plan aimed at imposing complete Zionist control over Jerusalem, its holy sites, and the entire West Bank. She said: "These systematic attacks and provocations by settler gangs are an insult to the feelings of Muslims around the world. Through these attacks, the Zionist enemy deliberately seeks to extend its dominance over the nation's holy sites, foremost among them the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, the first of the two Qiblas (direction of prayer) and the third holiest site in Islam. It seeks to divide and Judaize it, paving the way for its destruction." She added: "While we hold the Zionist enemy government and its partners in the US administration fully responsible for the consequences of these violations, we condemn the Arab silence and the Arab and Islamic nation's stand-by as a spectator to these crimes and massacres committed against Palestine, its people, and its holy sites, without their regimes and peoples taking any action." The Islamic Jihad Movement called on the peoples of the Arab and Islamic nations to "stand united to confront this Israeli bullying and thuggery, fully covered and supported by the US administration, because the danger of this racist, expansionist entity will not remain limited to Palestine, but will extend to the nation, its holy sites, and its history. Those who are complacent will not be safe from the Zionist danger, its ambitions, and its crimes if they abandon their religious, moral, and humanitarian duty toward Palestine, its cause, and its people."
