Fans fume as faulty TV coverage causes them to miss first goal of Premier League season
"Hello, we're aware of an issue affecting TV at the moment," they wrote to one fan. "Sorry for any inconvenience caused and we'll aim to resolve as soon as possible."
Hugo Ekitike scored on his Premier League debut for Liverpool, firing the defending champions into a half-time lead. However, it came after fans voiced their frustrations about their viewing experience.
"Anybody else's Virgin Media just gone mad. Pixelation on every channel?" one wrote. "Missed the Liverpool goal due to me having to restart the box thinking that might sort it. @virginmedia sort it out," said another.
"Very poor," said a third. "Will I get my refund "As soon as possible". But not before the football finishes."
