Mickey's return to the US caused a commotion as photographers were spotted following the Hollywood actor after he landed.
One photographer appeared to be clipped by a moving bus while snapping the star outside the airport.
A content creator interviewed Mickey, 72, as he walked through the airport while pushing his luggage on a trolley.
As Mickey headed towards his taxi, a photographer following him was knocked over.
The social media user filming the moment caught the reaction of those standing near the airport's pick-up point.
He gasped: "Oh my god," before the camera went blank for a few seconds.
Mickey was heard saying: "He's lucky," while a number of onlookers looked on in horror.
The interviewer told his fans: "The other pap literally just got hit with the bus, that's not good.
"He seemed like he was okay, but his camera was destroyed, the bus just came out of nowhere."
Sharing an update following the incident, he said: "The photographer was taken to hospital and was treated for injuries.

PAY FURY
The Wrestler star could see his fee reduced from £500,000 all the way to £50,000.
A source said: 'Mickey didn't do Celebrity Big Brother for the experience and was counting on that money.
'He's lost a huge amount by leaving the show early. It was worked out on a pro rata basis.
"Conversations are ongoing so the fee may change but a contract is a contract.'
Despite the fact his fee could be slashed dramatically, Mickey still flew back to the US in first class.
The Sun revealed the actor was keen to make a quick escape back to America.
In our new pictures, Mickey can be seen strolling into the first class lounge at Heathrow with his huge haul of luggage in tow.
He looked like he didn't have a care in the world as he waved to onlookers before jetting back home.
The Sun also revealed yesterday the Hollywood hellraiser "won't be back for the final" following his dramatic exit.
AXED FROM BIG BROTHER
Mickey agreed he would leave the Big Brother house after an altercation with fellow housemate Chris Hughes, 32.
The actor squared up to the Love Island star following a misunderstanding during the weekly shopping task.
Mickey was also heard making a sexual remark to Towie's Ella Rae Wise, 24.
After being reprimanded by Big Brother, the actor admitted he had been out of line and was sorry.
'I apologise. I'm sorry. I can't take it back, you know, I stepped over the line," Mickey admitted.
'Cause I lost my temper, and I've been trying to work on it my whole life.
'I'm ashamed of myself for losing it for a few seconds there. Nobody got touched or hurt.'
Despite his apology, Mickey was still asked to leave the house immediately in scenes that aired on Sunday night.
PARTYING WITH DAVID HAYE
Mickey was actually booted out on Saturday.
He spent two nights at a posh hotel in London before flying back to the US on Monday.
The Sun revealed how on Sunday night he was joined for drinks by boxer pal David Haye, 44, and his girlfriend Sian Osborne, 33.
Mickey was seen carrying a small dog as he greeted the duo around 9.30pm.
They left about four hours later, at 1.30am.

Alex Reid's pals reveal 'final straw' that made him post bombshell Katie Price video

Former glamour model Katie Price has has been caught up in controversy after her ex-husband, Alex Reid, shared footage of her waving and counting a wad of cash while bankrupt Alex Reid 's friends have shared the final straw in his long-running feud with Katie Price that made him 'expose' a video of her waving a wad of cash while bankrupt. In the video, the former glamour model is seen lounging on the couch as she was "enjoying counting" the pile of money in front of her, saying: "There's loads here.. I'm just sorting it out." The star, 47, who was bankrupted twice over debts totalling more than £3m, was asked by daughter Princess if she would help pay her school fees and those of her second child with ex-husband Peter Andre. Price responded: "Your dad can sit on that' before lifting a middle finger. Wearing white jodhpurs and sat next to a Christmas tree, she continued: 'Does he go on about it a lot? Well it's tough because I'm in bankruptcy to next May now." It comes after Peter Andre's wife Emily reacts to 'cruel' Katie Price swipe in the bombshell video. Katie also refers to a property - 'my London flat' - which fans believe is the property allocated to Peter Andre as part of their divorce settlement. The footage was shared this week by Price's ex, former Big Brother star Reid, who said in a statement that 'the truth will now be heard'. The Mirror understands that the one minute and 38 second video, believed to have been filmed in late 2020, has been sent to Price's bankruptcy trustee who continues to 'seek realisations from various third parties'. Now, a close friend of Alex's has told The Sun that his final straw came when Katie defended herself amid the ongoing controversy surrounding Princess' new show, The Princess Diaries, and the details of a custody battle between Katie and her ex-husband Peter Andre. Katie's spokesperson released a statement responding to Peter's claims that Princess and Junior have been in his custody since 2018 for their safety. At the time, Katie's team said: "Kate is in a much better and clear headspace and is at peace with the situation. "This was in the past, and she doesn't feel the need to bring up tit for tat comments, but more importantly she's dealing with this the right way and it's now in her lawyers hands. Kate will no longer be gaslighted and bullied as she once was." According to Alex's close circle, it was this statement that drove him to leak the video of Katie counting the cash. Speaking to The Sun, the insider said: "When Alex saw Peter's statement last Thursday night, he wasn't necessarily planning to come out with his own damning takedown just days later, but then there was a comment that Katie's rep released after Peter's post that literally tipped Alex over the edge and set these wheels in motion." The insider added that it was the words 'Katie is at peace' that sent Alex over the edge. "Alex read that comment that 'Katie is at peace' over and over, and he was just crushed, because he most certainly is not at peace. "It was those words that touched such a nerve for him, out of everything Katie has said, because the trauma of everything he has been through since the end of his marriage to her is still very raw. "He hasn't healed from it, and he remains a very vulnerable person. It's affected not just him, but his entire family and loved ones. He feels like Katie just washes her hands of stuff and takes no accountability - saying she is at peace feels so dismissive, hypocritical and absolutely ridiculous." Following the release of the video, Katie released a statement of her own, explaining that the cash in the video didn't belong to the Mucky Mansion star. A representative for the star said: "This is a video that was shared with Katie's Trustee in Bankruptcy several months ago and Katie has fully complied with the Trustee's investigations into the same. ‌ "The cash featured did not belong to Katie and the property referred to was dealt with in the financial settlement proceedings arising out of Katie's divorce from Peter Andre. "Katie's Trustee in Bankruptcy is aware of the property and has undoubtedly investigated whether the same ought to be comprised in the bankruptcy estate." ‌ The former glamour model was bankrupted twice, first in 2019 over debts totalling £3.5m, including £970,639 to HMRC and then again last March over a second £761,994 unpaid HMRC demand for money earned while she was already bankrupt. Creditors include Alex Reid who is owed £175,000 in High Court damages and costs he was awarded after she revealed a sex tape he says was filmed without his consent. Along with the leaked footage, Alex shared a statement saying he was "spearheading a campaign to expose the truth". He said: "Over the years you have seen countless stories by Katie Price directed at me, Peter, Keiran and others. Today I want to be clear. I am spearheading a campaign to expose the truth. "This isn't about gossip but about evidence. It's not about rumour, it's about reality. After years of silence, the time has finally come to reveal all." The Mirror has approached Alex's representatives for comment on this story.
