Tonight Celebs Go Dating viewers watched a tearful Christine, 37, announce she "wanted to go home"
Speaking to the show's agents, she said: "Well, I've been thinking quite a lot whilst we've been in Ibiza and I think I need to date in more of a natural environment.

"I think I just would love to meet somebody and date more privately. It's where I'm kind of feeling myself going back, when I want to go freely forward.
"Right. And I've made the decision to leave the agency."
Continuing she said: "But as much as I am very, very comfortable talking about my sexuality and being me, and I know that I want to continue dating women, I've found that outside attention far too much.
"And I've found myself feeling like I'm hiding more. And I don't want that. That's not what I want."

Christine then began to cry as she revealed she just wanted to "go home" and "be with her children".
The tearful star said: ""I've been missing the kids loads this week. I think all the love I need right now is waiting for me at home."
AGENTS SPEAK OUT
Meanwhile, one of the Celebs Got Dating agents recently shed more light on why Christine decided to walk away from the show.
In an exclusive interview with The Sun earlier this month, love guru Anna Williamson opened up Paddy's ex-wife's sudden exit.
Emotional Christine McGuinness opens up about Paddy's 'mistakes' in split saying 'the trust was broken'
The star admitted Christine's decision to join the show after her public split was a "brave" move, and it equally took courage for her exit the process after discovering it "wasn't the right time" for her.

Anna explained: "It wasn't the right time for Christine to continue her journey in the agency.
"I think this is the absolute beauty of what the Celebrity Dating agency does - yes it's a TV show, but it's also real."
Anna added: "She realised that perhaps this actually wasn't quite the right time for her to be doing that and took a great deal of confidence and bravery inside to recognise and actually now is not the right time."

The Sun were first to reveal in May that Christine decided to quit the show during filming.
In a statement, she said at the time: 'I joined Celebs Go Dating with great intentions but have realised that dating on a public platform and the attention that brings is just too soon for me.
'They've said the door is always open for me, which I'm so grateful for, but for now I'm returning home to my family.'
PADDY SPLIT
Christine and her ex, comedian Paddy announced they had separated in 2022 after 15 years together.
The couple first met through a mutual friend in 2007, when she was 19 and he was 33.

Two years later, he popped the question and they married in 2011 at Merseyside's Thornton Manor Estate.
However, they have now been divorced three years, but continue to live together for the sake of their three kids.

Married at First Sight star Marilyse Corrigan left reeling as she is 'dumped by text'

Marilyse Corriganan, who found fame on E4's reality show Married At First Sight is said to have been left 'heartbroken' after her partner of one year split up with her via text message Married at First Sight star Marilyse Corrigan has been left single again after her partner of one year 'dumped her over text'. The personal trainer, who found fame when she met and married Franky Spencer, 50, on the set of the E4 series, and, while they quickly realised it wasn't meant to be, she found love again with someone else. ‌ Marilyse, 40, met her mystery man, who is not in the public eye, a year ago and things seemed to be going well between the pair but now an insider has claimed that the whole thing has come to a very abrupt end. A source told The Sun: "Marilyse is really upset and can't believe she's ended up single again. She was dumped over text after falling head over heels. It was a whirlwind romance and in hindsight she feels she was love bombed." ‌ Lovebombing, which originated as a term in the 1970s but has gained particular momentum since the advent of social media, is used to describe the action of showering someone with affection to an excessive degree shortly after meeting as a way to secure them into some kind of romantic relationship. The reality star is yet to break her silence on the matter publicly, and has instead chosen to keep her 131,000 Instagram followers up to date with health and fitness tips instead. ‌ After both she and Franky agreed to go their separate ways following their time on the television experiment in 2021, Marilyse struck up a relationship with fellow MAFS star Matt Murray, 34, but even that fizzled out after six months, and she claimed at the time that the whole thing had felt "too intense" for her liking. At the time, she told new! magazine: "Matt likes to have all of your attention when you're in a relationship with him. He was needy and couldn't understand why I couldn't be his all the time. "I wouldn't call them red flags, but there were times when he'd question me about silly things - things that were unnecessary - and then question me about them again." In response to Marilyse's claims, Matt told the Mirror: "I just wanted to take a moment to acknowledge the comments made about me by Marilyse regarding our relationship. ‌ "Whilst I acknowledge Marilyse's feelings, I do not agree with her comments. Relationships can be complex and there are always two sides to every story. "I am very private so I don't wish to share my side of the story publicly. I would like to draw a line under this now." He added: "While I understand that Marilyse has shared her perspective on our time together, I want to make it clear that I hold no ill feelings towards her and I wish her nothing but the best. "I am committed to growth. Moving forward, I am focusing on the positive and surrounding myself with supportive people who encourage me to be my best self." ‌ "So I started feeling on edge around him." Matt had moved on with Marilyse after his spontaneous marriage to Hughes didn't work out, even though they appeared to have hit it off to begin with. Things turned sour and she decided to call it a day and dumped the tattooed barber with sources claiming he had been causing upset while "gaslighting" his social media followers. Speaking exclusively to the Mirror, a source close to Marilyse said: " We're all so relieved that Marilyse saw sense and ended things with Matt. He treated her appallingly, she was totally blinded by him, he love-bombed her and she always sees the good in people which left her vulnerable to him." Marilyse is not surprised by Matt's recent behaviour on Instagram. She expects nothing less from him. "Marilyse tried to see the good in him because she knows oh too well how the show edits can portray cast members inaccurately, but unfortunately, as time went on it became clear he didn't appreciate her."

Natalie Portman becomes frontrunner to play Sinead O'Connor in biopic about her life

Natalie Portman is reportedly the frontrunner to play Sinead O'Connor in a biopic about her life. The Irish Grammy-winning singer passed away from natural causes at the age of 56 in July 2023 - just 18 months after the death of her son. In the days leading up to her tragic passing, Sinead was rumoured to be deep in discussions for a biopic inspired by her life. Now, Natalie is said to be in the running to take on the role, with a source telling The Sun: 'Natalie is the actress the filmmakers want to play Sinéad. 'They think she is the spit of Sinéad in terms of her physicality but as an actress, they know she has the strength and power to do justice to Sinéad.' Earlier this week, Variety reported that Irish production company ie: entertainment, which executive produced the O'Connor documentary is behind the film. Daily Mail has contacted Natalie Portman's representative for comment. The film was previously have said to have been based on her June 2021 autobiography Rememberings. According to insiders in 2023, the iconic artist had been considering a star-studded cast for the pivotal role, which included Hollywood's Demi Moore. Irish actress Saoirse Ronan was also in the running to play an earlier stage in Sinead's life as well as Niamh Algar. A source explained that when exploring initial concepts for the film, Sinead liked the idea of a 'triptych approach' and envisioned a film that would spotlight three distinct actresses. They added that this creative direction playfully alluded to the Catholic Church's symbolic trinity of father, son, and the Holy Ghost and added a touch of satire into the narrative. An inquest into Sinead son Shane's death in November said the pair had a 'complex and turbulent' relationship but were also very close and 'in some way dependent on each other throughout their lives.' The body of Shane O'Connor, 17, was found in a secluded area at the back of a housing estate outside Bray, Co Wicklow on January 7, 2022 less than 24 hours after he was reported missing from Tallaght University Hospital in Dublin. The Nothing Compares 2 U singer, who formally identified her son's body to gardaí, died suddenly herself from natural causes just 18 months later in London. At the time of Shane's death, he was due to be under supervised 24/7 one-to-one care. A sitting of Dublin District Coroner's Court heard the teenager had been brought to the emergency department by his mother on December 29, 2021 after a drug overdose, in what was believed to be an attempted suicide. Sinead O'Connor's father Sean described how his daughter and Shane were 'very close.' 'They loved each other madly,' he observed. Mr O'Connor outlined how the singer was also suffering mental health issues around the same time of her son's death.

BBC axes Survivor UK after one season, Joel Dommett reveals

Survivor UK returned to television screens, via the BBC, for the first time in more than 20 years in 2023 after first airing with ITV back in 2001/02. The reboot was hosted by Joel Dommett and saw contestants "marooned in a tropical location where they are divided into two tribes, competing against each other in a range of physical and mental challenges" in an attempt to be crowned the sole survivor. The BBC spent £30 million making the new Survivor series, according to The Sun, which was filmed in the Dominican Republic during the summer of 2023. Top 10 best British TV series Survivor axed after just one season in 'TV's most expensive flop' The final of the BBC's first series of Survivor UK aired back in December 2023, with Matthew emerging victorious and winning the £100,000 prize, alongside the title of sole survivor. Now, nearly two years later, host Joel Dommett has revealed the reality show will not be returning for a second season. Dommett, speaking to The Sun, said: 'It just shows you how nothing is a given in telly. 'I thought Survivor would be huge. I thought that would be my job for the next 20 years. 'I've done shows and thought that's not coming back and it keeps coming back and then you do something like Survivor, which you think is guaranteed and it doesn't come back.' Survivor only attracted an average of 2.6 million viewers, the news outlet reported, despite being given a prime slot straight after Strictly Come Dancing on BBC One. RECOMMENDED READING: A source, speaking in The Sun, commented: 'Survivor was given a plum spot in the schedule right after Strictly Come Dancing but totally tanked. 'Execs just can't get their head around why the UK just can't find any love for a format which is beloved around the globe. 'After a year of speculation that the BBC's remake was facing the chop, it's now official. 'It's looking like TV's most expensive flop ever.' The BBC was contacted, but refused to comment.
