Check out Lightning McQueen! Iconic film and TV cars on show at Westquay
Westquay Shopping Centre will host 'Car Stars,' a free exhibition, until August 5, open daily from 10am to 6pm.
This unique showcase will feature 10 celebrated vehicles, including the 1989 Batmobile, Lightning McQueen, the Tumbler from The Dark Knight, and the famed Only Fools and Horses' three-wheeler.

Car enthusiasts, film fans, and families can marvel at these beloved vehicles, all free of charge.
Andy Jackson, Westquay's destination director, said: "We're thrilled to be bringing these iconic vehicles to Westquay, giving visitors of all ages the chance to get up close to some of film and TV's most memorable cars.
"It's a fantastic way to kick off the summer holidays with a free, fun activity that the whole family can enjoy."

Man who was ‘fixated' with Anna Friel ordered not to contact her before sentence
A man who was 'fixated' with actress Anna Friel and stalked her for nearly three years has been ordered by a judge not to contact her ahead of his sentencing next month. Phil Appleton, 71, sent numerous messages, visited the actress's home address on several occasions and left 'unwanted' gifts between January 1 2022 and December 11 2024, Reading Crown Court previously heard. Appleton, of Windsor in Berkshire, pleaded guilty to a stalking offence under Section 2A of the Protection from Harassment Act 1997 earlier this week. He was due to be sentenced on Thursday but judge Alan Blake adjourned the hearing until September 18 for a pre-sentence report to be carried out. The court heard that a psychiatrist had diagnosed Appleton with bipolar disorder and erotomania, where a person believes that someone else is in love with them. The psychiatrist said that Appleton had a 'fixation' with Friel and was trying to determine whether this was still the case, the court heard. The defendant, who the court heard has been in custody for six months and has spent time in a mental health facility, was granted conditional bail. Appleton must not contact Friel or enter the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, and is to co-operate with those conducting the pre-sentence report. A website under his name appears to suggest that he is an actor and retired pilot. Friel, 49, rose to fame with her role as Beth Jordache in Channel 4 soap opera Brookside. She achieved international renown in 2007 starring as Charlotte 'Chuck' Charles in ABC comedy series Pushing Daisies. In 2017, she won the International Emmy for Best Actress for her role as the title character in the ITV and Netflix mystery drama series Marcella.

Emergency services surround Tesco car park after three-car crash
Emergency services descended on a supermarket car park after a car collided with two others and "ended up on top of them." Merseyside Police were called to Tesco Superstore on Deysbrook Lane in West Derby at around 1.20pm today, Thursday, August 7, following reports of a three-car crash. Police said nobody was injured in the crash, which involved a silver Volkswagen Polo, a grey Citroen SpaceTourer Plus and a silver Ford Kuga. All drivers remained at the scene. Three fire engines, four police cars, two ambulance response cars and an ambulance attended the scene. A witness said one of the cars had "ended up on top" of the two other cars. Ed Sheeran's New Music Video Features Over 250 Outfits—All Thrifted
In Ed Sheeran's new music video for A Little More, the English singer attracts a creepy stalker—played by none other than actor Rupert Grint. It's a sequel of sorts, given the Harry Potter star also starred in Sheeran's 2011 music video for Lego House. 'For a long time, I wanted to make another music video with Rupert, but I was waiting for the right time and concept,' Sheeran tells Vogue. 'I thought how funny it'd be to have him in this video, surrounded by all different versions of me—in character—and to see his head spinning.' Such is the plot of the new video: Grint plays a recovering Sheeran stalker, who is haunted by images of the star wherever he goes. The singer pops up in his twisted mind as a security guard, dog walker, even as a bride-to-be. 'I wanted the video to be pure chaos, and humorous—a bit like the Lego House video, but we brought in the chaos from the get-go,' says Sheeran. The concept demanded a lot of costumes, of course—in fact, over 250 different outfit changes are featured in the video. The pieces were all sustainably sourced from secondhand shops or resale platforms like eBay. 'I didn't want to be wasteful, especially as there were so many looks to get through,' says Sheeran of the wardrobe approach. 'There are so many interesting clothes already out there, so it made sense to source them in this way.'
