5 ways to save money in your garden
Garden design experts at
have revealed the ways you can lower gardening costs.
1. Install a water butt
Water butts are a large container that sits in your garden and collects rainwater. This water can then be used to water plants, top up ponds or water features and wash the patio and other garden furniture. The natural outdoor water could help you save money on your water bills as you are less likely to use a hose during the summer months.
2. Use solar powered or LED lighting
Solar powered lights get their energy from the sunlight in the day so they can illuminate your garden at night. They're easy to install and are a great choice for keeping electricity bills low. LED lights are another option that are long lasting and energy efficient.
3. Grow your own salad and vegetables
Growing your own salad and vegetables will not only save you money but it can also feel really rewarding. Things like lettuce, radishes, and spinach are all fairly easy to grow.
4. Upcycle waste and rubbish
Get creative and start upcycling items instead of throwing them away. Use sticks from ice lollies as plant tags or turn old watering cans and wheelbarrows into planters instead of buying new pots. Once you get creative the ways to upcycle are endless.
5. Start composting
Start composting your kitchen scraps like vegetable peelings and coffee grounds and combine them with garden waste such as leaves and grass clippings to create a nutrient rich compost. This could reduce your need to spend money on expensive fertilisers.

How to dress like a Gallagher as Oasis arrive in Dublin for reunion tour

The shops have gone Oasis crazy as the Gallagher brothers have landed in Dublin for the much-anticipated reunion tour. From bucket hats to anoraks and John Lennon-style glasses, there's no shortage of clothes on the high street inspired by the band. It's been 16 years since Noel and Liam Gallagher took to the stage together. And since then, festival fashion has certainly taken up a few notches. As Taylor Swift-mania took hold of the world in 2023 and 2024, fans pulled out all the stops by dressing up as the megastar. Since then, it has become a trend at concerts to dress like the musician who's playing. From Y2K rah-rah skirts at Charli XCX to sweetheart dresses at Sabrina Carpenter and even bald caps at Pitbull, gigs have become about much more than just the music. And it's not hard to fit in with the Gallagher brothers. Grab a pair of shorts, a parka jacket, round sunglasses and a bucket hat and you've got the iconic Liam look. If you're one of the lucky ones who managed to nab a sought-after ticket for one of the two Oasis gigs in Croke Park, we've got you sorted on where to buy the perfect items. From a band tee in Zalando to striped polos from Dunnes and Marks & Spencer, here are our top picks: M&S M&S Collection Pure Cotton Oasis Graphic T-Shirt €29 M&S Collection Loose Fit Stretch Jeans for €32 M&S Collection Adjustable Cross Body Bag for €27 M&S Collection Metal Round Polarised Sunglasses €27 M&S Collection The Ultimate Tipped Pique Polo Shirt €29 For those on a bit of a budget, Marks & Spencer's has some gorgeous pieces that could tie your look together. If Liam's sports casual style isn't your thing, why not take a leaf from Noel's fashion book? The older brother currently loves rocking a stylish polo shirt with some cool sunglasses. For €29, you can get this dark blue and white polo from M&S that could've come straight from Noel's wardrobe, without the hefty price tag. Pair it with M&S Collection Loose Fit Stretch Jeans for €32 and these M&S Metal Round Polarised Sunglasses for €27 and you've got a cheap festival fit. Other gorgeous Oasis bits from the store include the M&S Collection Pure Cotton Oasis Graphic T-Shirt for €29 and the M&S Collection Adjustable Cross Body Bag for €27. TK Maxx TK Maxx blue stripes polo shirt €26.99 (RRP €67.00) TK Maxx purple wind jacket €54.99 (RRP €180.00) TK Maxx cream hat €10.99 TK Maxx Men yellow shorts €16.99 TK Maxx also has some great bits that can add to your outfit without breaking the bank. The retailer has this gorgeous cream bucket hat for just €10.99, and these out-there yellow shorts that have been reduced from €60 to €16.99. If you want to copy Noel there's a stunning blue stripe polo shirt for €26.99, or get the Liam look with this purple wind jacket at €54.99. Dunnes Dunnes Paul Galvin grandad shirt €30 Dunnes Paul Galvin Stripe Polo €25 For those who don't want to be a carbon copy of Noel or Liam but want to give a nod to the iconic band, get yourself to Dunnes. Pop on your favourite pair of jeans or shorts and pick one of these two gorgeous options- the Paul Galvin Stripe Polo in baby blue for €25 or the Paul Galvin grandad shirt for €30. Zalando Zalando Levis 565 jeans- €70 Zalando Timberland Benton Parka- €189.95 Reynold Bucket Hat - €69.00 Adidas originals polo shirt- €70 Zalando Gazelle Indoor Trainer- €120.00 Zalando OASIS GAP t-shirt- €47 If you don't like dragging yourself around the shops, online retailer Zalando has an Oasis collection that can be ordered at the click of a button. While it might be too late to order for this weekend's Dublin shows, there are some gorgeous finds for anyone heading to the shows over the next three months. It has a gorgeous selection of Levi jeans that have come straight from the 90s. While Liam and Noel were often seen strutting the streets in shorts in their heyday, they also loved their denim. Levis 565 jeans for €70 are both practical and stylish. Pair them with GAP's graphic Oasis tee for a fun fan look. Or, if you'd prefer to look like Adidas-loving Liam, pair it with the brand's cool blue and orange polo shirt for €70. For accessories, pop on the Reynold Bucket Hat in navy. However, it is on the pricier side at €69. To match gorgeously with the Adidas polo shirt, we've picked out these stunning Gazelle trainers for €120. And although the gigs are in August, we're never guaranteed the weather here in Ireland, so a rain jacket is a must. Luckily an anorak is the Gallagher brothers' signature style piece- and it's practical. If you're looking for a sturdy jacket that will do you all year round, this Timberland Benton Parka for €189.95 is perfect. Savvy Paris Fury shares cash-saver for families eating out this summer – despite raking in £200k a year without Tyson

PARIS Fury has shared a little-known way parents can save cash this summer. So if your purse is feeling tighter than ever before but you're desperate to eat out with your kids, you'll be pleased to know that you've come to the right place. 4 Mum-of-seven Paris Fury has shared a simple way she saves cash during the school holidays Credit: Instagram 4 So if you want to eat out and not have to spend a fortune, you'll need to listen up to Paris' simple hack Credit: Instagram Advertisement 4 Paris recently tied the knot to her husband Tyson for the third time Credit: Instagram @tysonfury 4 Despite a weekly paycheck of almost £4,000, she often shares ways to save cash online Credit: instagram/@parisfury1/ Despite her weekly paycheck of £3,800, this mum-of-seven is often on the hunt for ways to pocket pounds. The blonde beauty, who often does her food shopping in Asda, has taken to social media to reveal how she goes out for lunch with her little darlings without breaking the bank. Advertisement Posting on her Instagram stories, the 35-year-old, who has a down to earth personality and is fiercely loyal, uploaded a sweet snap alongside her three daughters whilst at Yo Sushi. As Paris smiled alongside Venezuela, 15, Valencia, seven, and Athena, four, alongside the post, the influencer, who recently tied the knot for the third time to retired heavyweight boxer Tyson Fury, 37, penned: 'Just for the parents on my gram - kids eat free here when you eat [sushi emoji].' The mother, who is said to have a secret wealth that is nothing to do with the Gypsy King's £100million fortune, then added: 'Good to know in school hols.' Parents looking to save cash when dining out are sure to be overjoyed to know that popular chain Yo Sushi on a mission to 'take the pressure off family weekday dinners and give the kids something to smile about this school holiday.' Advertisement During the school holiday dates, kids can eat free all day in Yo Sushi restaurants when dining with a full-paying adult. While mums and dads can enjoy sushi and Japanese hot favourites, your little ones can tuck into one of their kiddo bento boxes absolutely free of charge. Foodies should know that there is a minimum spend of £10. Despite lucrative brand deals and Paris' secret private company, Paris Fury LTD, having recorded a yearly profit of almost £200,000, this isn't the first time this mother, who previously described herself as a 'DIY queen,' shared a relatable insight into her life. Inside mum-of-seven Paris Fury's glam bank holiday weekend away from the kids - from travelling in a private jet to night out partying with Tyson She may live in a 'golden' £1.7million Morecambe mansion and have a £90,000 designer stash with Chanel handbags in every shade, but much like her most recent Instagram post, it appears that Paris continues to be famous for her down-to-earth attitude and bargain hunting antics. Advertisement As well as saving cash by ensuring her kids eat out for free, we've also seen the star do her clothes shopping in Primark. Inside Tyson and Paris Fury's love story WITH world champ titles, multiple kids and a beautiful wife by his side, Tyson is much-loved by the nation, but his romance with Paris dates back to their teenage years. Paris met Fury when she was just 15 at a mutual friend's wedding. However, it wasn't until a year later, when their paths crossed again on a night out in Doncaster for her 16th birthday, that they began dating. Paris explained: "He was my first boyfriend as I was not allowed a boyfriend until the age of 16. He is the only boyfriend I have had. 'Tyson would train in boxing during the week and then come and see me at the weekend. I would always be so excited at the thought of seeing him.' In 2008, they tied the knot in front of 400 guests and slept together for the first time on the night of their wedding. In 2016, Fury's mental health issues, cocaine and alcohol abuse, and intolerable mood swings threatened their seemingly unbreakable marriage. On occasion, Paris would even contemplate leaving - packing her bags and getting into her car. However, she'd just stop herself - admitting she couldn't leave Tyson to "crash and burn". Not only this, but she's also proud to have an affordable high street edit with New Look and she's certainly not one to shy away from bargains in B&M. According to Paris, a down-to-earth attitude helps keep her children grounded - and she wants to set a humble example for them. She revealed on the family's Netflix series: 'None of my kids are really the type to say, 'I want this, I want that'. We don't want the kids to grow up spoiled and not knowing the value of something Paris Fury 'Not to sound big-headed, but obviously, if I wanted to go tomorrow and shop out Selfridges' floor, I could do. Advertisement 'But what am I gonna teach the kids doing that? 'To go and buy five designer handbags, 10 pairs of shoes, diamonds and pearls, what have the kids got to look forward to in life then?
