Man dies in Lincoln County highway crash
LINCOLN COUNTY, Mo. – One man has died and another is hurt after an early-morning crash Tuesday in rural Lincoln County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
MSHP reports that a 63-year-old man from Wright City, Missouri, died in the crash, while an 18-year-old driver from Winfield, Missouri, suffered serious injuries.
The crash involved two drivers in two vehicles. It occurred around 7 a.m. Tuesday on Missouri Route J near Forest Lake Drive.

According to an MSHP crash report, the 18-year-old driver veered off the right side of the roadway, overcorrected and began to skid. His vehicle crossed a centerline and struck a second vehicle, driven by the 63-year-old man.
Investigators say the 63-year-old man's vehicle overturned off the right side of the roadway, while the 18-year-old driver was ejected from his vehicle upon impact. Both drivers were rushed to hospitals after the crash. The 63-year-old driver later died from injuries in the crash.
MSHP Troop C, which covers much of the St. Louis region, is investigating the crash.

81-year-old woman reported missing in Kansas City
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A Silver Alert has been issued for an 81-year-old woman who has been reported missing in Kansas City. Kansas City police identified the missing woman as Happy Pahia. Bunker, Missouri man dies in motorcycle crash on Highway 21
REYNOLDS COUNTY, Mo. – A Bunker, Missouri, motorcyclist died Sunday afternoon after striking a vehicle head-on while in a no-passing zone on Highway 21. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP), the crash occurred at 3:05 p.m. on Highway 21, two miles north of Ellington, involving a Honda VTX motorcycle and a Chevrolet Silverado. Woman sentenced for DWI crash that killed bicyclist in Riverside
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A Kansas City woman was sentenced to 10 years in prison Monday after she was convicted in a 2024 drunk driving crash that resulted in the death of a bicyclist. According to court records, 25-year-old Emily Davis pleaded guilty to one count of driving while intoxicated, resulting in the death of another, back in March. On Monday, she was sentenced to serve a decade in the Missouri Department of Corrections for the deadly crash. Kansas City condo owner surprised by 153% increase in assessment said that on Sept. 16, 2024, 25-year-old Xavier Anderson was riding a bicycle on Northwest Tullison Road near Highway 9 and Argosy Casino in Riverside at about 5:30 a.m. when a Chevrolet Cruze hit him. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that Anderson was hit in the rear, forcing him to be ejected from the bike. Anderson was then taken to North Kansas City Hospital, where he was pronounced dead by hospital staff just before 9 a.m., the highway patrol said.
