Inter Milan are planning out their future in midfield. And the Nerazzurri's plans hinge completely on the future of Hakan Calhanoglu.
It is no secret that Galatasaray want to sign the 31-year-old. Inter, for their part, will hold out for a fee of around €40 million.
And if Calhanoglu goes, then Inter will certainly do everything to replace the Turkish international.

According to the Gazzetta, Lazio's Nicolo Rovella would be Inter's top target in the event that Hakan Calhanoglu is to head for the exit door.
The 23-year-old is somewhere between a like-for-like replacement for Calhanoglu, and a profile that Inter don't already have in their midfield.

Rovella has a €50 million release clause in his contract with Lazio. That means that he wouldn't come cheap – but a deal for him would be relatively straightforward to wrap up.
Meanwhile, Parma midfielder Adrian Bernabe is also on Inter's radar. Particularly after Cristian Chivu's arrival as coach.
The Gazzetta report that Bernabe could be part of the succession plan for Calhanoglu. However, the 24-year-old could also be a target even if the Turk stays.

(Photo by) There were some speculations regarding the possible reason for the fiery incident involving Dumfries and Acuna. Advertisement The two players reportedly continued their fracas in the dressing room. According to TyC Sports, the thing that really set off the incident involved Acuna taunting Dumfries over the 2022 World Cup. In that tournament, Argentina and the Netherlands had met in the quarterfinals. It was an intense, ill-tempered clash in itself, ending in a 2-2 draw with Argentine progressing after a penalty shootout. The Albiceleste would go on to actually lift the World Cup. And according to TyC Sports, after a challenge with Dumfries, Acuna made a point of showing the Dutchman his shinpad, which depicted himself raising the trophy. Therefore, TyC Sports report, Dumfries became particularly angry with Acuna after that taunt.
