Dogs will get into literally anything if you let them. They have no reason to be doing all of that, but they do. It's so annoying, but it's hard to be too mad at the. They're just dogs, after all. They don't know better!
Recently, there was one incident that definitely warranted being a little angry. When one Golden Retriever turned into a "glitter retriever" on mom's white bedding, her mom could hardly believe her eyes. She's very sparkly and beautiful, but this would totally send me over the edge:
I hope Lexis Howard was able to take a step back and take a deep breath after this. There is no glitter allowed in my house for this very reason. Wishing her the best trying to get all of this out of her bed! This girl's name is Ellie, and this was certainly not her first offense. She loves to be as bad as possible whenever she can, and she always has. She's about a year and a half old: she was a birthday gift for their 9-year-old daughter. Since getting her, there certainly hasn't been a dull moment!
Wait until Lexis realizes they haven't even gotten to the terrible twos yet...
Ellie is a classic Golden Retriever puppy. She loves getting into trouble. Her favorite moves are grabbing something she doesn't need to have to try and play chase with it, digging in the yard, and eating everything in sight. Bonus point if she eats it on mom's white bedding!
She particularly loves to victimize the couch cushions:
Some people might think that Golden Retrievers are just the perfect dog. They can do no wrong. They're just perfect little angels... Right?
Wrong. Incorrect in every possible way.
Golden Retrievers are the sweetest little troublemakers you'll ever meet. They love to nip and get into things they shouldn't, and they're incredibly stubborn. These dogs will throw tantrums to get what they want, just like every other dog!
Ellie is no exception. In fact, she might just be the brattiest Golden of all!

Funny Clip of Pugs Before and After a Park Visit Is All Too Relatable

Funny Clip of Pugs Before and After a Park Visit Is All Too Relatable originally appeared on Parade Pets. Who doesn't love a trip to the park? Get some fresh air, maybe a little sunshine and exercise, see some friends. Pure bliss! As much fun as it is, it can wear you out, especially if it's a warm day and you've been running around. A hilarious clip uploaded to TikTok perfectly illustrates the before-and-after reality of a visit to the park with a pair of Pugs. Take a look and see if you can relate. "Ain't no peace and quiet in this car, but I much prefer the happy huffs to the impatient whines," the clip's caption states. These Pugs were so excited to get to the park. One stands at the window, and you can tell they're both rarin' to go. (How cute are their matching harnesses?) 🐶🐾🐾 Apparently, they had a blast because the drive back home had some very different energy, at those adorable Pugs panting like they just spent all day doing hard labor. It's very much like taking toddlers to the park. They get out all that energy, then collapse on the drive home. I love how one Pug has a paw on the other. "Holding paws," their human captions as she says, "I love you" to the worn-out Pugs. It almost looks as if the Pugs are communicating through touch, perhaps saying, "Maybe we did go after it a little too hard today." And the other offers a gentle tap to respond, "Don't worry, we'll be home with our water bowls and our doggie beds in no time! Just hang in there!"How Much Exercise Do Pugs Need? We tend to think of large dogs as needing lots of exercise, but smaller canines need to get out and stretch their legs as well. So, just how much exercise should a Pug get? Experts recommend between 30 and 60 minutes a day. This can be divided over several intervals throughout the day. Because of their short muzzles, Pugs can overheat. So easy does it! From the amount of panting in that car, it looks like the Pugs in the clip may have gotten their day's allotment of exercise all in one shot. We're guessing they had a great time, and they've certainly earned their afternoon nap! Looking for Friday's NYT Connections hints, clues and answers instead? You can find them here: Are you ready for the hardest purple group category you've ever seen? When you don't even know the word that's the group name itself, you're bound to be in for trouble. How to Play Connections Connections is the second-most popular NYT Games puzzle game outside of the main crossword itself, and an extremely fun, free offering that will get your brain moving every day. Play it right here. The goal is to take a group of 16 words and find links between four pairs of four of them. They could be specific categories of terms, or they could be little world puzzles where words may come before or after them you need to figure out. And they get more complicated from there. There is only one set of right answers for this, and you only get a certain number of tries so you can't just spam around until you find something. There are difficulty tiers coded by color, which will usually go from yellow, blue/green to purple as difficulty increases, so know that going in and when you start linking them together. You pick the four words you think are linked and either you will get a solve and a lit up row that shows you how you were connected. If you're close, it will tell you that you're one away. Again, four mistakes you lose, but if you want to know the answers without failing, either come here, or delete your web cookies and try again. The Connections answers are: We will start off easy here. The sticky Yellow group was not too hard to follow, given that none of these are especially tricky. Cleave, however, could be similar to Adhere, I suppose. Green Group? Kind of difficult. I think you could connect (no pun intended) Intimacy and Relations together for this category pretty quickly to get a sense of what they were going for. Congress is a stretch but…Commerce? Sexual commerce? Is that like prostitution? I have genuinely never heard of sex referred to in that way. I'm going ot start calling it that. Blue Group - Not bad. I mean, Spare, Split, Strike, you'll get those right away. Then just search for the fourth, Foul, and this was an easy set of pins to knock down. Alright now this Purple Group was insane. I didn't even know the word 'contronyms' existed, much less would I have caught that these words mean their opposite. Cleave to separate or to adhere to makes sense. Garnish you can add to a meal, or you can take away from wages. Oversight is something you miss, or having additional oversight is so you don't miss something. Sanction? I don't get it. Video: Golden Retriever's Diet Dramatically Changes After Owner's Vegan Brother's Visit

It is well-known that Golden Retrievers are certified food lovers, and this video of a furbaby's dramatic change in diet tells a similar story. The clip shows how this canine's food preferences changed after the owner's vegan brother dropped by. His 'zesty appetite' left the pet parent surprised. Netizens also couldn't hold back their laughter, with the video fetching more than 8K likes from viewers. Instagram video shows Golden Retriever sourcing food from nature It's a rare sight for pet parents to see their furbabies happily sourcing food from nature. Pets usually depend on their humans for their meals. However, it seems this Golden Retriever, Huxley, has taken matters into his own hands. The pup's owner came home to Huxley being a pro at snacking right from the garden without anyone's help. The dog mom captured her Golden Retriever's new avatar and shared it on @hugoandursula to show the world his new eating habit, courtesy of her 'vegan hippy brother from Berlin.' The clip shows how the Golden, without any hesitation, jumps to the shrubs or bushes to pick the ripe fruits and berries for his snack time. In the time his mom was away from home, the canine has upped his foraging skills, clearly becoming a pro at it. Moreover, the pup seems very excited and proud while plucking stuff from the trees. This change in Huxley's diet even left the dog mom amazed. It was a new habit that he developed in her absence, all thanks to her brother, who visited the furbabies to care for them. She even mentioned the diet change in the video's caption, saying that her 'younger brother very kindly came and looked after the boys whilst I was away.. anyways I've noticed a couple of changes since I've been back, mainly Huxley's zesty appetite.' The video of the Golden Retriever and his new diet left netizens in splits. They immediately took this opportunity to share their stories. One dog owner wrote, 'My Goldies used to eat the apples from the trees in my garden .. always foraging.' While another pet parent commented, 'Garden snackies are the best snackies. My pear tree isn't safe from ferocious pupper munching.' The post Video: Golden Retriever's Diet Dramatically Changes After Owner's Vegan Brother's Visit appeared first on DogTime.
