2025 NFL Draft: Day 3 time, draft order, best available players, including Shedeur Sanders, how to watch and everything else you need to know

Yahoo06-05-2025

The 2025 NFL Draft is heading into its third and final day. Cam Ward went first to the Tennessee Titans, as expected. Travis Hunter went second to the ... Jacksonville Jaguars in Round 1's biggest surprise. But the biggest storyline dominating the draft remains the same from when it began: When is Shedeur Sanders going to be taken?
Five quarterbacks were taken in the first three rounds of the 2025 NFL Draft, and Sanders wasn't among them. There's still plenty of time for him to go, but it's been a disappointing slide for a prospect who was considered by many to be the second- or third-best quarterback in the class.
The fourth round of the draft gets started early. When will that happen? How many minutes will teams have to make their picks?
Here's everything you need to know about the 2025 NFL Draft.
The first three rounds of the 2025 NFL Draft are over, and we've already handed out grades for them.
The fourth through seventh rounds of the 2025 NFL Draft will take place Saturday, April 26 at 12 p.m. ET. Teams will have five minutes to submit picks in the fourth through the sixth rounds of the draft. Teams get just four minutes to make a pick in the seventh and final round of the draft.
Once the 257th pick is made, the 2025 NFL Draft will officially end.
The 2025 NFL Draft is being hosted in Green Bay, Wisconsin. For decades, the NFL Draft was hosted in New York. But in 2015, the NFL decided to shift the event to different host cities. A number of places have hosted the NFL Draft since then, including Chicago, Las Vegas and Kansas City. Detroit hosted the NFL Draft last season.
Pittsburgh has already been chosen to host the 2026 NFL Draft next April.
The 2025 NFL Draft will air on ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN Deportes and the NFL Network. Each network will host their own NFL Draft shows, with different analysts breaking down all the action.
ESPN and ABC — which are both owned by Disney — will have two separate broadcasts during the draft. The ESPN broadcast will focus on "the specific NFL team and the draftee's on-field performance," per a release from the network. The ABC broadcast will "emphasize storytelling and the draftee's road to the NFL Draft."
Mike Greenberg will host ESPN's broadcast. He'll be joined by Mel Kiper Jr., Booger McFarland, Louis Riddick, Molly McGrath and Adam Schefter.
Due to the NBA playoffs. Saturday's broadcast on ESPN2 will begin at 12 p.m. ET.
Rece Davis will host ABC's coverage. He'll be joined by Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard, Nick Saban, Field Yates, Laura Rutledge and Pete Thamel.
ABC's live broadcast will begin at 12 p.m. ET on Saturday.
Rich Eisen will get hosting duties over at NFL Network. He'll be joined by Daniel Jeremiah, Charles Davis and Joel Klatt on the main desk. Kurt Warner and Ian Rapoport will also provide analysis and Jamie Erdahl will be on the stage.
NFL Network will carry the event at its standard times. Saturday's coverage will begin at 12 p.m. ET.

Yahoo Sports' draft experts Nate Tice and Charles McDonald released a number of mock drafts leading up to the 2025 NFL Draft. Monday's first-round mock draft featured some expected picks, like Cam Ward to the Tennessee Titans.
It also featured more recent surprises, like the Jacksonville Jaguars taking Jeanty at No. 5 overall. As for Sanders, well, he actually fell out of the first round in Tice and McDonald's latest mock draft — which is what ended up happening in the actual draft.
If you want to know who Tice and McDonald believe are the best players still available in the 2025 NFL Draft, check out Yahoo Sports' big board.
Many of the biggest stars of the 2025 class are already off the board, but there's still plenty of value to be found on Day 3. Here are some of the notable names — including Shedeur Sanders — still available:
Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado
Marcus Mbow, OG, Purdue
Jack Sawyer, Edge, Ohio State
Bradyn Swinson, Edge, LSU
Damien Martinez, RB, Miami
Dylan Sampson, RB, Tennessee
Cam Skattebo, RB, Arizona State
Devin Neal, RB, Kansas
Elic Ayomanor, WR, Stanford
Riley Leonard, QB, Notre Dame
Deone Walker, DT, Kentucky
Tory Horton, WR, Colorado State
Billy Bowman, S, Oklahoma
Kyle McCord, QB, Syracuse
Jalen Royals, WR, Utah State
Cameron Williams, OT, Texas
Denzel Burke, CB, Ohio State
Ollie Gordon II, RB, Oklahoma State
Mitchell Evans, TE, Notre Dame
With the draft in Green Bay, a number of Packers greats appeared on the first night of the event. Mason Crosby, Ahman Green, James Jones, Clay Matthews and Jordy Nelson opened the event with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell on Thursday.
Jaguars defensive end Arik Armstead, who was named the 2024 Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year, announced the Jaguars' first-round pick Thursday night.
A handful of current NFL stars announced picks on the second night of the draft. That list includes Terrion Arnold, Chuba Hubbard, Alec Ingold, Ryan Ramczyk and Jonathan Taylor.
Former NFL legends will also be in attendance to announce picks during the event. Lynn Swann and Joe Thomas are among the NFL Hall of Famers who will have that duty.

French Open women's final: Coco Gauff, Aryna Sabalenka live updates, highlights from Roland Garros

The French Open women's singles field is down to two, as the world No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka and No. 2 Coco Gauff are slated to face off in the final at Roland Garros on Saturday. Sabalenka enters the final fresh off a win over No. 5 Iga Świątek — putting an end to Świątek's quest for her fourth consecutive women's singles title at the French Open. Sabalekna's trip to the finals marks her second Grand Slam final of the year, having also made the Australian Open final before falling to Madison Keys 3-6, 6-2, 5-7. Advertisement Gauff, meanwhile, is seeking the second Grand Slam win of her young career, having just turned 21 in March. On her way to the French Open final, she defeated Australian Open winner Keys in the quarterfinal and posted a dominant 6-1, 6-2 win over French underdog Lois Boisson, who entered the tournament as the 361st-ranked women's singles competitor. Sabalenka and Gauff hold a head-to-head record of 5-5, with Sabalenka winning their most recent match 6-3, 7-6(3) at the 2025 Madrid Open. In fact, Sabalenka has won three of their last four meetings, which gives her a bit of momentum heading into the final. UFC 316 live updates: Merab Dvalishvili vs. Sean O'Malley 2 results, round-by-round analysis and highlights

Uncrowned has UFC 316 live results, round-by-round updates, start time and highlights for the Merab Dvalishvili vs. Sean O'Malley 2 and Julianna Peña vs. Kayla Harrison fight card on Saturday night at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. UFC bantamweight champion Dvalishvili defends his title in a rematch against O'Malley in the night's five-round main event, while Peña begins her second reign as bantamweight champion with a five-round grudge match against Harrison in the co-headliner. Dvalishvili (19-4) is Uncrowned's No. 3 pound-for-pound fighter in the world. He enters Saturday riding the longest win streak in UFC bantamweight division history, having secured 11 straight victories en route to his O'Malley title rematch. A native of Georgia who's aptly nicknamed "The Machine" for his seemingly endless cardio, Dvalishvili, 34, captured the belt this past September with a decision win over O'Malley, then successfully defended it with a thrilling performance over Umar Nurmagomedov in January. Dvalishvili also holds notable wins over former UFC champions Henry Cejudo, Petr Yan and Jose Aldo. Advertisement O'Malley (18-2, 1 NC) has not competed since dropping his belt to Dvalishvili in the UFC's lone visit to the Las Vegas Sphere. Perhaps the biggest name in the UFC bantamweight division, O'Malley, 30, earned his first title shot in 2022 with a thrilling victory over Yan, then memorably knocked out Aljamain Sterling to secure the belt in 2023. O'Malley's lone defense of his strap came in a March 2024 rout of Marlon "Chito" Vera, after which his seven-fight win streak came to a screeching end against Dvalishvili. The evening's co-main event is a battle of pound-for-pound stars as No. 5-ranked Peña (12-5) defends her UFC women's bantamweight belt against No. 4-ranked Harrison (18-1). Peña won the title to kick off her second reign with a split decision over Raquel Pennington this past October, while Harrison — a two-time Olympic champion and two-time PFL champion — is a perfect 2-0 thus far under the UFC umbrella.
