Napheesa Collier leaves game after ankle twist against Las Vegas Aces
Napheesa Collier appeared to step on teammate Alanna Smith's foot under the basket around 10.8 seconds remaining in the third quarter, when the Lynx already led by about 43 points.
She immediately collapsed, visibly hurt, while the arena fell silent. Players from both teams quickly formed a circle around her, offering towels and space.
Collier tried to stand with help but sat back down, then walked off slowly with assistance, headed straight to the locker room and did not return to the game. She finished with 18 points, five assists, three rebounds and two steals in 26 minutes.

Is Kevin Love leaving the Utah Jazz? NBA veteran allegedly eyes buyout amid trade rumors

Kevin Love might be leaving Utah Jazz (Image via Instagram / @kevinlove) Kevin Love was initially traded from the Miami Heat to the Utah Jazz this offseason. However, now, according to the league's most recent information, the NBA pro is searching for ways to leave his existing team and go into the buyout market. He averaged 5.3 points and 4.1 rebounds while shooting 35.7% from the field in 23 games during his final season. Nevertheless, in spite of popular opinion, his exit from the Utah Jazz is nothing but rumors at this point. Kevin Love reportedly exploring exit options as Utah Jazz rebuild continues The Utah Jazz's most recent trade was a three-team transaction that sent veteran John Collins to the Los Angeles Clippers. The Miami Heat was the third team in the deal to send Kevin Love and Kyle Anderson to the Utah Jazz. The 36-year-old is now on a rebuilding Utah Jazz club and will be starting his 18th season in the league. However, amid all this, his exit rumor started gaining momentum. As per Marc Stein: 'As for the busy buyout market: Stay tuned. We've already seen Bradley Beal (Clippers), Lillard (Trail Blazers), Ayton (Lakers), Smart (Lakers) and Jordan Clarkson (Knicks) find new teams after securing buyouts and now five-time NBA All-Star Kevin Love is actively exploring potential pathways out of Utah after he was dealt by Miami to the Jazz as part of the three-team Norman Powell trade…' Meanwhile, NBA source Jake Fischer claimed that Kevin Love is looking for a "big glamour market" for his next suit, citing Los Angeles and New York as two possible locations. He further said: 'So with Kevin Love, to my understanding, he really only wants to be in the big glamour markets… I do think it would mostly be something along the lines of Kevin Love going to a New York or a Los Angeles type of situation. So, we'll see if that can materialize for him.' Kevin Love went to Utah Jazz (Image via Instagram / @kevinlove) Additionally, about the same, CBS Sports' James Herbert said: "Utah's 15-man roster is full -- for now… But there's another floor-spacing big man on the team who will likely go elsewhere: Kevin Love… He was acquired as part of the Norman Powell–John Collins deal, and he doesn't make much sense on the rebuilding Jazz. If the front office can't find a suitable trade, Love could get a buyout." However, nothing has been confirmed as of yet. Neither Kevin Love, nor his team has said anything about it. On August 3, 2025, Trinity Rodman made her much-anticipated return to action for Washington Spirit after missing several months due to a back injury sustained in mid‑April. Before the Spirit's match against the Portland Thorns that day, Bryan asked in the family group chat: 'Trinity playing on Channel 18, 12:30 or channel 26?'. Ben then posted a screenshot to his Instagram stories, writing: 'My pops locked in on Trins first game back'. Ben Shelton's post made it clear how excited his father was. On July 7, she criticized commentators who repeatedly called her 'Tiffany' and brought up her estranged father, NBA great Dennis Rodman, during Shelton's matches. In Trinity Rodman's own words on Instagram: 'For those who don't know… my name is TRINITY not Tiffany.' 'For Ben's matches… my dad's not even in MY life. No need to bring him up during HIS matches… It's his and his loved ones' moment.'. That message came during Shelton's fourth‑round win over Lorenzo Sonego at Wimbledon, which advanced him into the quarterfinals. Throughout, Trinity showed steadfast support for Ben Shelton, balancing her own recovery and return with cheering him on at a Grand Slam event.
