Bitcoin Rebounds After Galaxy Completes Sale of $9B BTC From Satoshi-Era Whale
Bitcoin (BTC) rebounded on Friday from its overnight dip below $115,000, back to its familiar range it traded for the past two weeks. The largest crypto recently changed hands at $117,200, still down 1.2% over the past 24 hours. Some analysts noted the dip coincided with asset manager Galaxy moving large amount of BTC to exchanges overnight, likely related to the bitcoin whale that sent this month around $9 billion worth of BTC to trading desks. The wallets held BTC since the early years of Bitcoin's history, transferred the assets in after being dormant for more than a decade. Later on Friday, Galaxy confirmed that it completed the sale of all 80,000 BTC on behalf of a client, touting it as "one of the largest notional bitcoin transactions in the history of crypto." The sale was part of the investor's estate planning strategy, the firm said. With the selling pressure by the whale now past, some analysts predicted the lows could be in or close. John Glover, chief investment officer of crypto lender Ledn, said that BTC could put in a local bottom on Friday or over the weekend before continuing its push to new records, according to his Eliot wave analysis. "Once completed (either today or over the weekend) I expect that we will complete wave iii by rallying to circa $132,000," Glover said in a market in to access your portfolio

Europeans meet with Iranian officials face-to-face for first time since Israel, US bombings as sanctions loom
European diplomats met with Iranians on Friday face-to-face for the first time since Israel and the U.S. bombed the country last month. The "serious, frank and detailed" meeting in Istanbul, Turkey, lasted for around four hours and the officials all agreed to meet again for continued negotiations on Iran's nuclear program. Sanctions that were lifted on Iran in 2015 after it agreed to restrictions and monitoring of its nuclear program could be reimposed if Iran doesn't comply with requirements. One of Europe's E3 nations – Britain, France and Germany, who held the talks with Iran – could bring back sanctions under the "snapback" mechanism, which allows one of the European countries to bring back U.N. sanctions if Iran violates the conditions. European leaders have also said that sanctions will start being reinstated by the end of August if there is no progress on reining in Iran's nuclear program. "A possible delay in triggering snapback has been floated to the Iranians on the condition that there is credible diplomatic engagement by Iran, that they resume full cooperation with the IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency), and that they address concerns about their highly-enriched uranium stockpile," a European diplomat said on condition of anonymity before the talks on Friday. The diplomat added that the snapback mechanism "remains on the table." Iran said that the U.S. needs to rejoin the 2015 nuclear deal – after President Trump pulled America out of it in 2018 – saying Iran has "absolutely no trust in the United States." The U.S. bombed Iran's nuclear sites on June 22, a little over a week after Israel had bombed the country over national security concerns about its nuclear program. Iran responded by attacking Israel and a U.S. Army base in Qatar. Isreal and Iran agreed to a ceasefire on June 24. The IAEA issued a concerning report in May that said that Iran's stockpile of near-weapons-grade enriched uranium had grown by nearly 50% in three months.

‘Holy Cow:' Woman Goes to Pump Gas. Then She Saves $1/Gallon With Amazon Prime
A woman recently shared details of an Amazon Prime partnership with BP that allows members to save $1/gallon of gas at BP, Amoco, and AMPM gas stations. TikTok user Lady K ( @theycallmeladyk ) walked her followers through the deal in a video posted on July 3. 'Alright, here we go,' she says. 'We're gonna hit rewards. And then loyalty number. Put your phone number in. You have your account linked with Prime.' The pump goes from showing a price of $2.83 per gallon to $1.83 per gallon. 'Wow. Holy cow. That's crazy,' Lady K says. A Reminder While She's Filling Up 'As a reminder, while I'm filling up, if you haven't seen my previous videos. July 3-6, Prime members can save at BP, AMPM, and Amoco gas stations. A dollar off a gallon of gas up to 35 gallons,' Lady K says. 'To begin Prime Day,' she says. 'So make sure you sign up. Use the Earnify app, which is BP's app, and link those.' She then shows a photo of her final transaction. She paid $25 for 13.6 gallons of gas. In the caption, she writes, 'This is crazy. Amazon Prime members! Link those accounts and goooo!!' Prime Fuel Savings Deal This Fuel Savings Offer for $1 off per gallon of gas is an early Prime Day deal that ends on July 6. But if you miss the deal, don't fret. Prime members can always save a total of $.10 per gallon at BP, Amoco, and participating AMPM gas stations. With the Earnify app, which is BP's rewards program , members can save an additional $.5. As the TikToker said, you enter your phone number or activate the Earnify app at the pump to get the discount. Of course, as several commenters pointed out, there is some fine print to be aware of here. It's important to note this is a one-time offer, the savings calculation is based on the average light-duty economy car, and you'll lose access if you cancel your Prime membership. Gas Price Blues In the comments section, some viewers expressed shock at the relatively low cost of gas in Lady K's area. 'The fact that your gas is under $3 to begin with,' wrote one driver. A second user agreed, 'Meanwhile, in California, I paid $4.89 a gallon yesterday.' A fellow Amazon Prime member offered a bit of advice. 'It's only one time, so bring all of your cars so you can use the gallon max. My wife and I bring both our cars and fill up both when I have discounts on gas,' they wrote. In a direct message to Motor1 , Lady K said she is overwhelmed, surprised, and thrilled by the response to her video, which has over 1 million views as of this writing. 'I had been sharing about their fuel program since May,' she said. 'In June, they were offering $.20 off gas on Fridays and every little bit helps. I had just learned that this was an option … and just wanted to share it with others for awareness.' She continued, 'When I went on the 3rd to get gas, I assumed the gas station would be busy. I pulled in and it was just my car filling up. That's when I realized people just don't know about it and I wanted that to change.' 'I'm happy if one extra person benefited off of getting that discount from the video. Every time someone mentions that they got the deal it makes my day, because that's what I wanted—to help people.' Motor1 reached out to Amazon and BP via email for comment. We'll be sure to update this if either responds. More From Motor1 'What Was Even The Point?' Woman Discovers a Hole Drilled in Her Gas Tank.
