The day marked the 115th Jayanthi of Relangi, a Padma Shri awardee. He was born in Ravulapalem and passed away on November 27, 1970 in Tadepalligudem, erstwhile West Godavari district.
Addressing the gathering, Mr. Durgesh recalled Relangi's memorable roles in Telugu films including Vipra Narayana, Missamma, Maya Bazaar, and Narthanasala.
