Cat Deeley's linen dress that 'fits like a glove' discounted with code
Cat Deeley is no stranger to a great summer dress, and her latest look on This Morning proves exactly why she's become one of daytime TV's most stylish presenters. This morning, Cat stepped out in a dreamy buttermilk yellow halterneck dress - a shade that has not-so-quietly become the top colour trend of 2025.
The presenter wore Boden's Halter Linen Dress, which comes in at £146. However, customers at Boden can currently save 15% off new dress styles with the code W7XC, taking the total down to £124.10.
The Boden number comes in an 80% breathable linen fabric with a hint of recycled cotton, finished with a smocked back panel for a little extra give. The composition makes it ideal for warm weather dressing, ideal for any forthcoming heatwaves.
The sweetheart neckline brings soft structure, while the full, flared skirt adds a romantic swing. Tied neatly at the neck, the look is polished, feminine, and completely effortless, which is exactly Cat's vibe.
If you've been watching closely, you'll know that Cat loves a halterneck, with the silhouette becoming something of a summer signature for the 48-year-old. Cat wore at least seven halter-style dresses or tops on This Morning in June alone, confirming her love for the neckline that flatters shoulders and elongates the frame.
The dress comes in sizes 4-22, but for those who enjoy options, Nobody's Child's Butter Yellow Colorado Midi Dress is currently on sale for £55.25 down from £65. It has a soft, fitted top and flows to a light, airy skirt, complete with bra-friendly straps and side pockets. Alternatively, this ASOS DESIGN summer maxi dress with full skirt in lemon comes in at £28. Dropped waists are also trending this summer, and this purse-friendly pick ticks several style boxes for summer.
Fans who've snapped up Cat's Boden dress already have praised its airy fit, high-quality fabric, and thoughtful design - including its pockets. One said: 'This dress fits like a glove! My first purchase from Boden, so I wasn't sure about sizes because I'm usually between 10 and 12 (I'm 5.8 with a short torso and long legs). I went for size 10 regular and it is perfect. I ordered both colours, and am keeping them both because the linen fabric is great and the cut of the dress is exactly what I've been looking for.'
One found the waist to be a little high, giving the frock two stars, commenting: 'This dress looks gorgeous in the photos, and I hoped it would look good on. However, the waistline is far too high on me (I'm 5' 8") and means the fit and flare style flares out too high and gives me an odd shape. So disappointed because I liked the style, the fabric, lining and pockets.'
Meanwhile, a third, five-star rating read: 'The dress is comfortable to wear and airy. The colour is very nice. It's a pity that there is no matching jacket. I converted the halter to a crossed back. This was easily possible with two small seams and has the advantage that the front of the dress does not spring forward when you lean over. Feel free to offer more flared dresses with a raised waist, dear Boden team.'
Cat styled her dress with some flat sandals and a dramatic gold chain necklace with an oversized heart. She wore her hair down in a voluminous, blow-out style - ideal for a summer dinner date. Shoppers can copy her exact look with the Boden dress here.

Fern Britton admits she got a 'kidney punch' from King Charles' protection officer
Fern Britton rose to fame after appearing on This Morning, but it was in a look back to her 20s that she revealed an incident at a Royal event attended by King Charles Former This Morning star Fern Britton has said that she received a punch to the kidney from one of the King's protection officers when she met the monarch during her teenage years. In the early 2000s, she shot to fame after co-hosting This Morning alongside Phillip Schofield, but she has recently looked back to her younger days when she was trying to find her feet as an actor. In a chat with Tim Lihoreau on the Guess Who's Coming To Dinner? podcast, the 68-year-old revealed how she used to write letters to the then Prince of Wales asking if he could attend any of her shows. While she admitted that she would always receive a response, it wasn't until her 20s that she finally got the opportunity to meet the monarch while he was attending a money-raising event at Salisbury Cathedral. But her once-in-a-lifetime moment didn't go exactly according to plan after she claimed that she received a blow to the kidney as she approached His Highness: "There was one time when I did get a sort of kidney punch from one of his (King Charles ') protection officers, because I was getting a bit too close with a microphone when he went to Salisbury, because he was raising money for the Salisbury Cathedral spire to be refixed." And sharing more details on how the alleged incident unfolded, she explained: 'I had a beautiful suit on and I was looking good.' She continued: 'I was in my early to mid-20s, and getting closer and closer and closer just to hear what he was saying to the crowd.' The monarch then apparently glanced at one of his protection officers, and shortly after, she was struck. However, she admitted that she doesn't think it was meant to be 'that hard.' Leaving her career in acting behind after leaving The Cambridge Theatre Company, she took her first steps into broadcasting in the 1980s when she took a local TV role in Plymouth. While successfully landing a number of roles since then, it was in the 1990s that her career began to reach new heights. In 1994, she was announced as presenter of Ready Steady Cook, but left the show shortly after becoming a full-time presenter on ITV 's This Morning, where she co-hosted until 2009. The Palace has been approached for comment.
