Love Island fans 'work out' brutal recouping twist that could send two Islanders home
Love Island fans believe ITV has a brutal twist coming for the Islanders following last night's shock recoupling announcement.
Love Island fans were caught off guard when a surprise text revealed there would be a recoupling in the villa - this time with the girls holding the power. Many viewers round the timing "random" and now suspect a major twist is on the way.
Currently, the villa has an equal number of boys and girls following Malisha's recent exit. Her departure came after she and fellow singleton Toni went on separate dates with new bombshell Harrison, who ultimately chose to couple up with Toni.
With everyone now coupled up, it seems unlikely that anyone will be left single after tonight's recoupling.
However, fans are speculating that a dumping may still be looming, with a twist underway that will see an Islander dumped from the island. Taking to X, formally known as Twitter, viewers have been theorising that a public vote could be coming, finally giving fans the power to decide who stays and who goes.
One fan penned: "They're recoupling then we vote for least compatible #LoveIsland," as another speculated: "It shouldn't have ended on a cliffhanger but probably means the aftermath of recoupling is chaos #LoveIsland."
A third agreed, writing: "Noooo, that recoupling is going to be juicy #loveisland." While a third said: "I bet there would be a recoupling and public vote."
Another suspicious fan chimed in, saying: "somethings fishy about this recoupling......#LoveIslandUK #loveisland." With another eagle eyed fan, predicting: "Is there an equal amount of girls or boys? I'm assuming the public vote tomorrow then #loveisland."
The shock recoupling followed another drama-filled day in the villa, with a game being the source of the tension. The Islanders spent the afternoon playing a brutal game of spin the bottle.
The Islanders found themselves switching partners frequently, as they faced a series of truths and dares.
Tensions rose when Helena landed on a dare and Dejon dared her to kiss the islander she'd choose to recouple with. Without hesitation she kissed new bombshell Harrison - a move which turned heads.
The drama didn't stop there, as Helena was visibly stunned when Shea was asked to give a one-word description of each islander - using the word 'mug' to describe her, following Harry's recent actions towards her.
Things got even more complicated, when Megan pulled a truth card and was asked by Harry how she really felt about Conor - following the revelation that Conor had feelings for Megan, despite her being happily coupled with Tommy.
Megan revealed that she and Connor had "unfinished business" from the first couple of days, much to Tommy and Emily, who is currently coupled up with Conor.
Could this spark something new between Conor and Megan? And who will Megan choose to recouple with in tonight's recoupling?

Starmer offers BBC rivals chance to join forces
Sir Keir Starmer has opened the door to mergers between the BBC's commercial rivals as they come under mounting pressure from streaming. The Government on Monday set out plans to remove barriers to allow broadcasters such as ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5 to join forces as part of its new Industrial Strategy. Ministers said they would examine 'possible consolidation between broadcasters which may benefit their financial sustainability and audiences', as well as 'closer strategic partnerships'. The Competition and Markets Authority and Ofcom will be asked to review their definitions of the TV and advertising markets to include, for instance, YouTube and Netflix. Such moves would reduce the market share of broadcasters, making it much more likely that regulators could approve a merger of their advertising sales operations, or even an ITV takeover of Channel 5 and Channel 4. 'Economies of scale' Investors and television industry leaders are increasingly arguing for such consolidation to cut costs as audiences and advertisers migrate to streamers. Less radical steps are already being taken in that direction. ITV, Channel 4 and Sky last week struck a deal to pool their online advertising spots to mount a stronger challenge to the massive scale of YouTube. The three broadcasters currently each operate their own television advertising sales house. Bringing them together would be an obvious next step, but would require regulators to agree that streaming competition means it would not be too powerful a monopoly. The Government pointed to broadcasters in other countries pursuing mergers to 'increase economies of scale'. It added: 'We must take active steps to ensure our domestic broadcasters can adapt to this changing market, and continue their support for independent producers of all sizes so that IP [intellectual property] remains in the UK. 'The financial sustainability of our PSBs [public service broadcasters] is under pressure as they compete for content and advertising revenues with global media and technology companies.' TV troubles It comes as ITV is locked in discussions over a deal that could result in either a sale of the broadcaster or a deal to spin off its lucrative production business. Banijay, the French production powerhouse behind Big Brother and Peaky Blinders, has reportedly held discussions with ITV over a potential bid. All3Media, the UAE-owned group behind shows including The Traitors and Race Across the World, has also been linked to a possible deal. ITV, which has struggled with an advertising downturn in recent years, has been viewed as ripe for a break-up as a sharp decline in its share price has pushed its valuation to just £3bn, down from a peak of more than £11bn in 2015.

Noel Edmonds' 'true personality' revealed by New Zealand neighbour
The former Deal or No Deal presenter now owns an estate with a vineyard in New Zealand, which will be featured in a new ITV documentary series. Noel Edmonds ' off-camera personality has been revealed by a woman who worked with him on his River Haven estate in Ngatimoti, New Zealand. The presenter left the UK in 2019 after being voted out of I'm A Celebrity, and bought a £15m estate in New Zealand complete with 12 properties including a pub and his own vineyard. Edmonds' estate will be featured in a new ITV docuseries, Noel Edmonds' Kiwi Adventure, which will see the former Deal or No Deal presenter hard at work and making his new life on the other side of the world. Julie Crook, who lives nearby the River Haven estate but is originally from the UK, worked with Noel on his vineyard after she volunteered to help him harvest his grapes. Their time on the vineyard was followed by cameras for the ITV series, where Edmonds' TV personality shone through. But Julie said that Noel was just as nice when the cameras were turned off. "He doesn't put it on just for the camera, he's just a really nice guy. While we were working on the vineyard, he was giving us water and ice pops, and he got to know everybody's name and even when you go to the Bugger Inn for a meal, he'll just come over and just have a chat whether you know him or not, and some Kiwis don't even know that he's a celebrity. "He doesn't shy away from hard work either, he was getting his hands dirty." Julie also addressed the backlash that Noel and his purchase of River Haven has been receiving since he moved. Some locals have even claimed that the star is 'colonising' the small Kiwi village of just 2.500 people, after he spent £15 million on the expansive estate of 12 properties. Julie said: "I disagree with what the press and locals are saying, because they just don't get it. "I think what he is doing is great, because this is a tourist area, because it's on the way to the Abel Tasman. "It's just bringing tourism into Ngatimoti, which is where his vineyard is, and it's a little rural village. "He even donated $10,000 to the local school because they were in debt, he is so nice." She admitted that the "clever" TV personality has a very dry sense of humour, which Kiwis don't tend to understand. She said: "They don't get him and as an immigrant from the UK, we have the English banter so I understand it, and Kiwis don't get that sense of humour, and it can come across as a bit weird to them." Fans can tune into Noel and his wife Liz integrating with the locals in the first episode of their new docuseries, with some special moments including him describing his wellness routine, his golden statue outside of his pub and Noel revealing he "was an emperor in a past life". The first episode of Noel Edmonds' Kiwi Adventure aired on ITV1 and ITVX on Friday, June 20. Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community! All There Is To Know About Love Island Bombshell Poppy Harrison From Age to Red Flags
The last week in Mallorca has been fairly explosive, even by Love Island standards. There's been behind the back flirting, couple swaps, character assassination and lots of fiery arguments. All of which can only mean one thing: it's time to send in four new bombshells. Following the big twist, one person here to shake up the villa is Poppy Harrison. She's ready to go after what she wants, ruffle some feathers and enjoy her summer. Here's everything you need to know about her. Poppy is a dental nurse from Stoke-on-trent looking to meet her match in the Love Island villa. She says she's a 10 but can 'act without thinking sometimes'. Well, she certainly won't be alone in this villa... You'd think going on Love Island was a clear sign that someone wasn't in a relationship, but The Sun claims Poppy only broke up with her boyfriend a week before going on the show. Before entering the villa Poppy said, 'I like someone who has big energy but not too big. I love a good sense of humour but I basically need to keep them grounded, but for them to keep me on my toes.' Adding, 'I do get bored quickly.' Speaking about the potential of breaking up another couple, Poppy said, 'I'm a girls' girl but I don't mind causing a bit of drama and getting to know everyone equally. Everyone else would.' Poppy loves someone who knows what they want and has get up and go and ambition. 'Someone who wants more for themselves and pushes me as well as themselves,' she explains. As for her biggest ick, it's the word 'ick'! Which will be music to lots of loyal viewers' ears after 10 years of hearing about it. Yes, you can follow her along with 12,000 others at @poppyharrisonx. Like most of her reality TV counterparts, Poppy enjoys sharing selfies and pictures from her latest luxury holiday.
