EXCLUSIVE Tina Fey and Amy Poehler poke fun at Meghan Markle with barbed comment about her recipes
Tina Fey and Amy Poehler poked fun at Meghan Markle during their stand-up comedy show over the weekend after the Duchess of Sussex was reprimanded by the queen of jams over her latest As Ever release.
The Saturday Night Live alums took over Ocean Casino Resort in Atlantic City on Saturday, June 21, for their Restless Leg Tour where they threw shade at many stars including Prince Harry 's wife, Ben Affleck and Channing Tatum, according to an insider who spoke with Daily Mail.
Tina, 55, and Amy, 53, opened the show with a monologue that was similar to them hosting a past Golden Globe award show as they took the stage wearing sparkly gowns with the 30 Rock star comparing her gold dress to ' Heidi Klum for Spirit of Halloween' and jewelry from the 'Disney Pandora menopause collection.'
At first, they joked about the celebrities who were not in attendance at Ocean's Ovation Hall theatre, kicking it off with Ben Affleck.
'Ben Affleck is not here. He's home going through his contacts looking for more Jennifers to bother,' Tina said.
Amy added, ' Nicole Kidman is not here tonight. She's too busy being in every single movie and TV show in her name.'
The Saturday Night Live alums roasted celebrities like the Duchess of Sussex, Ben Affleck and Channing Tatum as they took the stage at Ocean's Ovation Hall on Saturday
'Leonardo DiCaprio is not here. I assume because Amy and I have combined age of 105,' Tina continued their opening speech.
Then, Amy dissed Meghan Markle, 43, for not being in the crowd because she was too busy cooking, specifically baking cookies topped with edible flower petals (also known as 'flower sprinkles') - featured on her With Love, Meghan Netflix show.
'Meghan Markle is not here tonight. She's putting flower sprinkles on cookies, and Piers Morgan is furiously rage masturbating about it,' the Parks and Recreation star snided, referring to the UK journalist who mocks Prince Harry and Meghan.
Continuing their celebrity roast, they told the audience that they argue with each other over how they would 'cook Channing Tatum.'
Amy insisted she would 'dice him up and pan fry him over an open flame,' while Tina suggested she would 'slow braise' and top 'olive oil with lemon,' and then 'save his skin to make merkins so that no spiders get into our vaginas at night.'
Although there were no celebs in the audience, Amy and Tina praised the 'white women' in the crowd as the theater lights came on and the comedians gave a sigh of relief that it was 'finally a safe place for you.'
The joke was seemingly in reference to the heightened sexual assault accusations and convictions in Hollywood, including Harvey Weinstein, who is serving a 16-year sentence after being convicted of rape and sexual assault in 2022.
They made a comment later on in the show about how they did some 'fun things' with him in 2012, but then Tina told the audience, 'Don't worry about it. Don't Google it.
Tina informed all the mothers in the audience that they shouldn't waste their time making Meghan's 'fruit rainbow' for birthday parties because kids don't remember at a young age
The famous friends continued the show with different segments, including a mock SNL Weekend Update with surprise guest Will Forte followed by Amy doing her own stand-up comedy bit to 'test out new material,' she said, and Tina following suit by sharing a timeline of their friendship.
When Tina talked about throwing her kids' birthday parties when they were younger - she has two daughters with her husband Jeff Richmond (Alice, 19, and Penelope, 13) - she informed the audience that parents shouldn't stress about throwing parties.
'They're not going to remember their first seven birthday parties. They'll remember the feeling of being loved. They're not going to remember if the Bluey plates don't match the Paw Patrol cup,' she said.
The Mean Girls actress then added in another Meghan Markle joke. This time referencing the mother-of-two's fruit platter made in the shape of a rainbow.
'So, if you're like making a Meghan Sussex fruit rainbow, just know that you're doing that for you. Okay? You're doing that to prove something to yourself and that's okay too,' Tina shared with all the mothers in the audience.
Shortly after, she shaded Meghan and Harry blurring their kids' faces when sharing photos of Archie, six, and Princess Lilibet, four, with the public.
When highlighting the year 2008, Tina said that Amy gave birth to her 'beautiful son Archie,' who is now 16 (she also has a son Abel, 14, with ex Will Arnett).
In the slideshow behind her, she showed a photo of Amy with Archie and blurred Archie's face - similar to the way Meghan and Harry blur photos of their Archie.
'I wanted to respect Archie's privacy so that is a picture of Amy with a baby filter on it,' Tina said. 'Still really cute.'
In the past, Amy commented about Prince Harry and Meghan naming their son Archie. She told Seth Meyers back in 2019, that they 'look like a real cute couple and I love that name [Archie].'
The Late Night with Seth Meyers host noted that Amy had her own 'William and Harry situation' with her two sons because her youngest, Abel, is also a redhead.
She remarked, 'Now that you say it, I really feel that they're copying me. Like, "get off my jock, man!" But joking about it, she added that the royal family can get away with copying her because it's legal in England.
Tina and Amy performed two sold out shows at Ocean Casino Resort on June 21st - a matinee and an evening show - along with Zarna Garg who opened for them. They closed out each event by sitting on comfy chairs in pajamas as they read questions submitted by fans.
In between sets, they enjoyed cuisine from the hotel's popular seafood restaurant, Linguini By The Sea, an insider shared with Daily Mail.
Their show at Ocean was part of the hotel's Summer of Sevens birthday celebration, which is a lineup of 'seven cherry-picked new experiences' offered by the resort, including promotions and sweepstakes and headline entertainment.
After headlining Atlantic City, they performed their final show of their tour - which began in March in Orlando - on Sunday at the Prudential Center in Newark.

How Dakota Johnson is REALLY doing after Chris Martin split
It's been three weeks since Dakota Johnson and her ex-fiancé Chris Martin reportedly ended their on/off seven-year relationship, and she's said to be 'doing well.' At 48, the divorced father-of-two is 13 years older than the Materialists actress, and they were last pictured together as recent as May 19 taking a yoga class in Malibu near the six-bedroom mansion they bought for $12.5M in 2020. 'The split wasn't exactly a shock,' a source told People on Monday. 'They had the same issues for a while.' Dakota evidently doesn't want to live with any regret, she 'wants to live her life very intentionally.' 'She loves all her creative projects and is excited about her career,' the insider continued. 'She believes there is more to life than work though. She wants a meaningful life on all levels.' It's been three weeks since Dakota Johnson and her ex-fiancé Chris Martin reportedly ended their on/off seven-year relationship, and she's said to be 'doing well' In 2013, Chris 'consciously uncoupled' with his ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow after a decade of marriage and welcoming 19-year-old son Moses and 21-year-old daughter Apple. 'I love those kids like my life depends on it. With all my heart,' Johnson gushed to Bustle last year. 'I could watch [Martin perform] every day. I don't know how to explain it...I'm watching my most favorite being do his most favorite thing.' In 2021, the seven-time Grammy winner reportedly penned his 2021 song My Universe about the Madame Web action star: 'In the night, I lie and look up at you / When the morning comes, I watch you rise / There's a paradise they couldn't capture / That bright infinity inside your eyes.' Coldplay is next scheduled to bring their $1.26B-grossing, 225-date Music of the Spheres World Tour to Canada's Rogers Stadium in Toronto on July 7-8 and 11-12. On Monday, Neon unveiled the first trailer for Dakota's next film Splitsville, which hits US theaters August 22 and everywhere else on September 5. Johnson produces and stars as Julie in Michael Angelo Covino's couple-swapping unromantic comedy also starring Covino, Kyle Marvin, and Adria Arjona. The cast and crew received a six-minute standing ovation when Splitsville had its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival on May 19. On August 15, UK audiences can finally catch the nepo baby of Don Johnson and Melanie Griffith as matchmaker Lucy in Celine Song's critically-acclaimed love triangle rom-com Materialists, which has earned $31.4M back from its $20M budget at the box office. Dakota has been hard at work producing and starring as ghost author Lowen Ashleigh in Michael Showalter's big-screen adaptation of Colleen Hoover's 2018 novel Verity. The psychological romance thriller - already scheduled to hit US theaters May 15, 2026 - will also star Anne Hathaway and Josh Hartnett. Johnson has her 67-year-old mother to thank for her big-screen debut, at age nine, in stepdad Antonio Banderas' dismally-reviewed directorial debut Crazy in Alabama in 1999. Before landing her breakout role in the Fifty Shades trilogy, the Independent Spirit Award winner first caught the industry's attention as a panty-clad Harvard University student Amelia in David Fincher's 2010 drama The Social Network.

Radio host Paul Harvey's estate sues Paramount over 'Landman' voiceover
June 23 (Reuters) - The estate of radio host Paul Harvey sued Paramount Global (PARA.O), opens new tab in New York federal court on Monday for allegedly featuring a segment from his longtime program "The Rest of the Story" in the Paramount+ TV show "Landman" without permission. The estate said, opens new tab that Paramount misused a 90-second segment from a Harvey monologue on rising gas prices in the opening segment of a "Landman" episode. The complaint also said the makers of "Landman" edited Harvey's monologue to make it appear to support the oil industry, even though the full segment criticized government fossil-fuel policies and endorsed alternative fuels. Spokespeople for Paramount did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the complaint. The estate's lead attorney Jaime Wolf of Pelosi Wolf Spates said the producers of "Landman" "had no right to falsify the late Mr. Harvey's message and turn him into an unwitting shill for big oil." Harvey, who died in 2009, was a fixture of American radio. His signature program, "The Rest of the Story," aired from 1976 to 2008. Paramount's "Landman," which began airing last year, is a drama set in the oil fields of West Texas produced by "Yellowstone" co-creator Taylor Sheridan. According to the complaint, the show's tenth episode opens with the recording of Harvey's 2008 segment "Gas Crisis," in which he said that gas prices are "deliberately manipulated by governments and certain corporations to advance broader agendas." The lawsuit said that the estate's lawyers attempted to contact Paramount in March but never received a response. The estate asked the court for an unspecified amount of copyright infringement damages. The case is Paulynne Inc v. Paramount Global, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, No. 1:25-cv-05206. For Harvey's estate: Jaime Wolf and Angelo DiStefano of Pelosi Wolf Spates For Paramount: attorney information not yet available

Vanessa Trump poses in rare video with daughter Kai after going public with Tiger Woods romance
Vanessa Trump and her prodigious daughter Kai aren't letting a potential war with Iran hamper their social life. The 47-year-old - who is currently dating Tiger Woods - and her eldest daughter Kai, 17, are avid golfers and sat down to eat after an afternoon on the green. The mother-daughter duo opted for Sushi Jo in West Palm Beach for their early dinner. Kai filmed the outing in a short TikTok video, sharing a quick glimpse of her mom across the table from her. Vanessa was deep in conversation on her iPhone, but it was unclear who she was speaking to. 'Dinner with Mom,' Kai captioned the video, followed by a heart emoji. The comments section was filled with people commenting about the current tensions between the US and Iran. 'As long as Kai is still posting and not in a bunker we chill,' commented one. 'Tell your grandpa to stop bro i dont wanna die,' wrote another. 'Hopefully mums on phone to Grandpa telling him to calm down. I'm stressed all the way from Australia. Tell him to chill,' a third wrote. It comes after Vanessa and Tiger, 49, officially debuted their romance. That announcement came 10 days after exclusively broke the news that the golf icon was dating Donald Trump Jr.'s ex-wife. On March 23, Woods posted pictures with Vanessa on his Instagram and X accounts. One snap showed them posed in front of a vine-filled wall and another of them cuddling on a hammock. 'Love is in the air and life is better with you by my side! We look forward to our journey through life together. At this time we would appreciate privacy for all those close to our hearts,' the caption, written by Woods, read. Their relationship has not only received the blessing from Kai, but also from Vanessa's former sister-in-law Ivanka Trump. Ivanka commented on Tiger's post, 'So happy for you both' while adding several emojis with love hearts. Vanessa was previously married to Donald Trump Jr, with the couple tying the knot in 2005 before they eventually went their separate ways 13 years later. She and Don Jr. have five children together, with Tiger recently spotted alongside their eldest daughter Kai at the PGA Tour's Genesis Invitational event earlier this year. Woods made his return to a golf course earlier this month as he continues rehabbing an Achilles injury from earlier this year. The golfing legend was spotted riding around in a golf cart at BallenIsles Country Club in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. He was there not to play himself, but to watch along as his son Charlie competed in the Florida State Golf Association's 108th Amateur Championship.
