3 stars who found love on Strictly Come Dancing and where they are now
Strictly Come Dancing season is almost upon us, with the BBC having announced the celebrities taking part just this week.
The likes of Gladiators legend Harry Aikines-Aryeetey (known to fans as Nitro), Love Island winner Dani Dyer, presenter Vicky Pattison and EastEnders' Balvinder Sopal will be making their way to the dancefloor this year.
They'll be joined by model Ellie Goldstein, The Apprentice's Thomas Skinner and YouTube star George Clarke amongst other names.
The celebrities will be following the likes of Tasha Ghouri, Pete Wicks, Sarah Hadland and JB Gill, who all took part last year, while Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell lifted the glitterball trophy.

Dianne will be returning alongside Amy Dowden, who had to pull out last year due to an injury following her cancer battle, while Gorka Marquez confirmed he will not have a celebrity partner.
Meanwhile, two new professional dancers, Alexis Warr and Julian Caillon, are also joining the series, with the BBC yet to announce which celebrities will be partnered with which pros.
In previous years, once training sessions are underway, Strictly has been flooded with rumours of the so-called Strictly curse, with several professional dancers having met their future partners on the show, while others like Ola and James Jordan, and Janette Manrara and Alijaz Skorjanec, are married to their fellow pros.
Ahead of the beloved BBC competition returning to screens with a new batch of famous faces, we've taken a look back at some of the stars who found love on the show in the past, and where they are now.

Gorka Marquez and Gemma Atkinson
Gorka and Gemma began dating in early 2018 after meeting on the 2017 series of Strictly, where she was partnered with Alijaz, and he and Alexandra Burke came runners-up.
When rumours initially began swirling of their romance, Gemma claimed the couple may start dating 'once the series is over' before going public with their relationship months later.
In February 2019, they confirmed the news they were expecting their first child together, and their family grew with their second child in 2023.

The couple, who starred in their own reality series, got engaged on Valentine's Day in 2021, and often share sweet messages of support to each other on social media and snippets of their family and home life.
Last year, Gorka spoke about the emotional toll of being separated from his family during Strictly season, saying he gets feelings of 'sadness, guilt, for going away for however long it is' and feels 'a sense of failure' for not being there.
Meanwhile, talking about the 'balance' they have with family life at home, Gemma told Metro: 'I was on my own for a while before I met Gorka and so was Gorka. I was doing so well and he was doing so well, and that's what brought us together and it's kind of always stayed that way. I know Gorka doesn't need to be with me and I don't need to be with him. It's a choice which makes us value each other more.'

Di
anne Buswell and Joe Sugg
Reigning champion Dianne met her now-partner Joe on Strictly in 2018, when they were paired together.
The Aussie dancer and YouTube star made it all the way to the final together, and confirmed their romance not long after when Joe penned on Instagram: "I may not have won the glitter ball, but I've won something a million times more special."
The couple moved in together just months later and share snippets of their relationship on social media.

Earlier this year, Dianne hinted she was ready for the next step, when gesturing to her ring finger on a podcast, which left her Strictly partner Chris McCausland quipping: 'It's the one Joe's done nothing with.'
"Exactly, we need to remind Joe what that finger holds. That finger is feeling very lonely, it needs something to weigh it down with,' Dianne replied.
She had previously told The Mirror: "Joe and I don't really talk about that kind of thing. We're both so relaxed so we just play it by ear. We really enjoy each other's company so much and whatever happens, happens."

Stacey Dooley and Kevin Clifton
Stacey and Kevin were partnered together on Strictly in the same year as Joe and Dianne, and went all the way to lift the glitterball trophy.
At the time, she was dating her ex-partner but the couple split not long after and Stacey and Kevin announced that they were in a relationship in 2019 after months of speculation.
In a BBC interview around the time, she explained how they were friends before anything turned romantic, saying: "Then you win together and you have Christmas and then January, you think, 'Oh where is he? Oh, I liked hanging out with him.'
"So yeah, it was much later down the line for us. We were pals for a long time."

The couple moved in together in 2020, and announced they were expecting their first child together in 2022, welcoming daughter Minnie the following year.
Addressing marriage in an episode of Stacey Dooley Sleeps Over, Stacey had previously said: 'Kev and I have been together for two years.
'I don't think I want to get married. I think I'd be more interested in starting a family than getting married.'
Strictly Come Dancing returns to BBC One and iPlayer in September.

Croke Park will see Oasis' first performance in Ireland since a dramatic split in 2009 (Cillian Sherlock/PA) After an 'in-demand' dynamic pricing model left a poor taste for some fans last year, ticket-holders will roll with it and enjoy the music in temperatures above 20 degrees. Health officials advised revellers to wear their bucket hats, with high UV levels predicted amid warm and dry sunny spells in Dublin on Saturday. The band's first gig in the country since 2009, the Dublin leg of the reunion world tour will hold a special meaning for once-feuding brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher. Sarah and Neil Charlton travelled from Southampton to see the band, after a determined search for standing tickets saw them clinching access in Dublin. Mr Charlton said they have both been waiting a long time to see the band reunite – having seen Oasis multiple times before their extended hiatus. The Oasis reunion has been a huge event in the cultural calendar (Cillian Sherlock/PA) He told the PA news agency: 'We thought: what a great city to come to and see the gig and have a couple of nights out in Dublin.' 'When we first started seeing each other, we went to a gig and so it's always been a part of our lives together.' Oasis formed part of the romantic story for Lisa and Alan Roe too, who said their love of the band dates back to when they got married in the 1990s. Mr Roe said: 'Because the two of them are after getting back together after so many years, to be able to sell out a world tour the way they did – and their music going back to the late 80s and 90s. 'And maybe things just dawned on them that life is too short and just, let's put grievances to bed. 'They seem to be getting on great, and it's fabulous. And at the end of the day, music transcends everything, and we're all here to enjoy a brilliant night and to share it with the people that mean the most. Advertisement 'It's just amazing. The weather is fabulous and it's a brilliant venue.' The support acts for the Dublin dates are Richard Ashcroft from The Verve and Cast, formed by John Power after he left The La's. The Apprentice star Karren Brady 'unrecognisable' in new photo after undergoing cosmetic procedure
Karren Brady has been told that she looks 'unrecognisable' in a photo that she shared on social media this week, after undergoing a cosmetic procedure Fans have been left baffled, as they claimed they couldn't recognise Baroness Karren Brady in a snap posted by The Apprentice star. It comes as the business mogul revealed she would be overhauling her wardrobe following a cosmetic treatment. Karren, 56, who also serves as vice chair of West Ham United FC, posted a picture of herself wearing a sleeveless white dress on Instagram earlier this week on Friday, August 15. She hinted in the caption that the image was captured after having her skin firmed up, as reported by the Mirror. The upload has racked up over 8,000 likes, with Karren flooded with praise in the comments. Multiple followers admitted they initially failed to recognise her, with some claiming they confused her with other famous faces. The first image in the post displayed Karren posing in the sleeveless dress, which she had paired with a Chanel belt, whilst standing in a corridor. A follow-up photograph offered a peek at the treatment, showing equipment being applied to an arm. Karren captioned the post: "I never thought I'd be able to wear short sleeves again, but after a course of Exion skin-tightening with radio frequency, I can! "Exion uses radiofrequency and targeted ultrasound to naturally boost hyaluronic acid by up to 224%, while stimulating collagen and elastin for smoother, firmer, more youthful-looking skin - all with no needles, no pain, and no downtime." She hinted that she'll be sporting more sleeveless outfits in the future following the procedure. Karren ended her post with: "Bring on the sleeveless tops! Huge thanks to Rita Rakus @drritarakus_ as always." Her post racked up a lot of compliments from fans this week. One follower penned: "You look incredible Karren." Another chimed in: "Stunning outfit. You look amazing Karren." A third added: "You look fabulous." However, some thought she looked unrecognisable. One user commented: "For a second I really thought it was a different person." Another remarked: "She looks so different." A third noted: "Did not recognise her." Echoing these sentiments, another fan said: "Looks nothing like her." Some even compared her to 74-year-old actress Jane Seymour. One follower wrote: "At first glance I thought it was the actress Jane Seymour." Another suggested: "Young Jane Seymour." Others admitted they initially mistook her for singer Jennifer Lopez and former soap star Michelle Keegan. The caption also sparked a reaction. Some fans reassured Karren that people can wear short-sleeved outfits regardless of how their arms look. One responded: "Who said you couldn't wear short sleeves." Another pointed out: "Who's going to tell her that you can wear short sleeves whatever your arms look like? There aren't any rules, it's okay." Someone else advised: "You could wear sleeveless tops without this. You can wear what you want." "But you could always wear sleeveless tops?" another queried. Meanwhile, one follower penned: "I've got bingo wings but I don't care in this heat I'm wearing sleeveless tops and dresses!".
