The Denver Broncos release their schedule... busting chops along the way
The Denver Broncos have released their 2025 schedule for the upcoming NFL season. The team revealed its schedule in a "uniquely Broncos" way.
The Broncos revealed their schedule using "Mutton Bustin," where children ride sheep for as long as they can. 14 children tried to hold on for dear life on the sheep, each dressed like Broncos opponents. Here's a small sampling of the digs the video announcer used for the Broncos' 2025 opponents.
As the Kansas City Chiefs rider fell off, the announcer exclaimed, "It's a tomahawk flop!"
For the Dallas Cowboys: "Give him a silver star for trying, but nothing else!"

Against the defending Super Bowl champions, the announcer shouted, "Fly, Mutton, Fly!"
At the end of the video, the Denver mascot Miles came out with Miles Jr., who was able to hold on the sheep longest. "Friends, if you're not excited about this, I'm not sure you're alive," the announcer exclaimed as Miles and Miles Jr. held up their trophies.

What are some Commanders' storylines one month before training camp?

That's it... No more Washington Commanders minicamps, OTAs, voluntary, or mandatory workouts. The entire offseason, one continuing storyline for the Commanders has been an edge rusher. Which good edge rusher would the Commanders sign during the 2025 free agency signing period? When that did not occur, it was, "Which edge rusher will Washington draft in the 2025 draft?" That didn't happen either. Oh, but surely they were going to trade for Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Trey Hendrickson, but the Bengals' price tag was too steep. Advertisement The biggest news entering this week of June 16-20 is that the team actually did not provide any news regarding Noah Brown and his injury last week during team workouts on the field. Brown went down for a pass and did not hop up immediately, signaling to observers that something was not right for Brown. After making his way slowly to the sidelines and venting in frustration, he was carried via the team cart to the Ashburn facilities. The following day, head coach Dan Quinn told John Keim he wouldn't speculate on Brown's injury and that Brown was having an MRI later that day. Four days later, why do we know nothing more? Why haven't the Commanders at least made a succinct statement, informing the local media and fan base of Brown's condition? The Commanders went through a boatload of kickers in the 2024 offseason, preseason, and season. None of them are returning. They went out and signed 31-year-old kicker Matt Gay. Gay, after kicking for the University of Utah, has kicked in the NFL for the Tampa Bay Bucs (2019), the Los Angeles Rams (2020-22) and the Indianapolis Colts 2023-24. Advertisement Now begins the long month until training camp officially begins. At least one thing we know for sure is that the Commanders drafted the right quarterback in 2024, when they selected Jayden Daniels second overall in the draft. Thus, 2025 is the first season the Commanders have entered training camp with positive energy since 2021, after they won the NFC East with a 7-9 record. You recall, Ron Rivera then signed free agent quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick, and the Mike Greenbergs of the sports media proceeded to tell viewers how Washington would be a Super Bowl contender. Rivera failed to produce a winning record that season and in all four seasons as GM and head coach, but now the Commanders have Adam Peters as GM, Dan Quinn as head coach, and Daniels as quarterback. No wonder there is much more excitement going into 2025. This article originally appeared on Commanders Wire: Commanders' storylines one month before training camp

PGA Tour names Brian Rolapp as CEO to succeed Commissioner Jay Monahan

The PGA Tour on Tuesday named top NFL executive Brian Rolapp its next chief executive officer to succeed current Commissioner Jay Monahan. Monahan will begin to transition his day-to-day responsibilities to Rolapp and will step down at the end of 2026. Monahan said he informed the board last year of his intention to step down in 2026 after a decade leading the organization. "We've found exactly the right leader in Brian Rolapp, and I'm excited to support him as he transitions from the NFL into his new role leading the PGA TOUR," Monahan said in a statement. In an open letter published on Tuesday, Rolapp talked about the respect he has for golf's history and rich traditions but said there is still work to do and incredible opportunities ahead. Rolapp said after talking with players, board members and fans in recent months, he plans to focus on strengthening the Tour's commercial partnerships. "Professional golf is evolving, as are the ways fans consume sports. My goal as CEO is to honor golf's traditions but not be overly bound by them," he said. Over the course of Monahan's tenure as commissioner, he helped secure $1.5 billion in investment for the league, created equity opportunities for players and launched a Fan Forward initiative, according to a news release. Yet, those efforts were often overshadowed by a pending merger with Saudi-backed LIV Golf. The two announced their intention to merge in June 2023, but have yet to reach an agreement. Rolapp, who was considered a top successor candidate for NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, brings decades of experience in forging high-profile media partnerships. As the NFL's Chief Media and Business Officer, Rolapp oversaw the league's commercial, broadcast and digital rights. The PGA Tour will be renewing its media rights agreements with key partners ahead of the current deal's expiration in 2030. "Brian's appointment is a win for players and fans," said golf legend Tiger Woods in a statement. "He has a clear respect for the game and our players and brings a fresh perspective from his experience in the NFL."
