Stephen Curry's wife, Ayesha Curry's secret recipe to a happy family might surprise you
The Golden State Warriors veteran Stephen Curry's wife, Ayesha Curry, has a recipe for a happy marriage and family that is quite simple, yet it worked like a charm. In a candid chat with PEOPLE in February this year, Ayesha unveiled her big secret— "I think for us, our relationship always comes first. Then we're parents," she told the outlet.
Of course, prioritizing relationship over parenting might sound a bit odd, but Ayesha has the explanation for her philosophy. "And that works for us because then you have two happy people raising the kids in the house. So the family sector in our lives always comes first," she explained.
Undoubtedly, two happy parents raising kids would be a far better choice. The duo shares four kids— Riley, Ryan, Canon, and Caius.
"And then honestly, it's just surrounding ourselves with people that are smarter than us and know what they're doing and can make the things run.
And they allow us the space to be creative and they allow us the space to truly show up however we choose to. And I think that's what's really worked for us," she continued.
As for their parenting technique, Ayesha shared that Stephen and she don't prefer to be controlling parents. "We're not control freaks. We have ideas, but we're willing to let people help us see those ideas into fruition," she added.

Life took them in different directions for a while, but they found their way back to each other in 2008. Ayesha had moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting and modeling, while Stephen happened to be in town for the ESPY Awards. Their connection sparked again, and a few years later, on July 30, 2011, they got married.

Why did Aaron Rodgers and Shailene Woodley call off their engagement?

NFL quarterback Aaron Rodgers on Tuesday revealed that he has been married for a couple of months. 'Been a couple of months,' he told reporters at a press conference after confirming that the ring on his finger was a wedding ring. He was previously engaged to actress Shailene Woodley. Aaron Rodgers and Shailene Woodley ended their relationship in 2022, a little over a year after announcing they were engaged. A report from People said the two went their separate ways in a peaceful way, the breakup was 'amicable' and 'it just wasn't working.' 'They're very different people with busy careers, and there were obstacles that they couldn't surmount. They will remain friendly; there's no bad blood and no drama. It just didn't work out for them,' a source told the outlet. Talk of a possible split started after Aaron Rodgers made headlines in late 2021 for not being vaccinated against COVID-19. He faced criticism after saying he had not received the vaccine. At the time, Shailene showed support for him. 'Literally, you all need to calm the f—k down,' she wrote on Instagram. She also defended him against people trying to damage his image, saying they were trying to 'disparage' Aaron's reputation. Also Read: Aaron Rodgers confirms he is married for a 'couple of months'. Who is his wife Brittani? Before their breakup, the couple kept their relationship mostly private. They went public with their engagement in early 2021. Aaron Rodgers shared the news while accepting an NFL MVP award, saying, 'I got engaged and I played some of the best football in my career.' He also thanked his 'fiancée' on stage. Not long after, Shailene talked about their relationship on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. She shared how they met during the pandemic when football games were being played in empty stadiums. 'We met during this whacky, whacky time and all the stadiums were closed that he was playing in,' she said. She also joked, saying she never thought she'd be with someone who 'throws balls for a living.' There were also reports they didn't always agree when it came to politics. A source told People that they kept those talks to a minimum. 'They are not talking about their politics, and they never really have,' the source said. 'They disagreed on a lot of things. Early on, they decided to agree to disagree about things and not debate them.'

Julia Bartels, who brought her grandmother's forgotten fashion dreams to life, announces her death

Social media star and self-taught seamstress Julia Bartels, who captured hearts by sewing garments from her grandmother Georgie's vintage fashion sketches, has announced Georgie's death. In a deeply emotional video shared on June 10 across TikTok and Instagram, Julia revealed that her beloved grandmother had passed away a couple of weeks ago after battling ongoing health complications. A stitch in time and a farewell too soon Georgie, who was in her 90s, had been struggling since August 2024, according to Bartels. The bond between the two transcended generations and sparked a viral movement that celebrated creativity, legacy, and second chances. Julia first discovered Georgie's passion for fashion during the COVID-19 lockdown, unearthing a collection of sketches from her grandmother's teenage years. Georgie had once dreamed of being a designer, but chose motherhood instead. Julia decided those dreams deserved to be seen, not at a funeral, as her grandmother once suggested, but in the spotlight. A viral dream brought to life In June 2024, she told PEOPLE that Georgie had asked for the sketches to be either displayed at her funeral or published posthumously. Instead, Julia took action, sharing a TikTok of the sketches that went viral overnight. It led to Julia teaching herself to sew and recreating the designs using sustainable materials. Love, grief, and a legacy shared online In her video, Julia recounted her final moments with Georgie, saying their last exchange was a mutual declaration of love. She also shared Georgie's sharp sense of humour, even in her final days, she was more concerned about what she would wear in the afterlife and which vintage side tables not to donate. Bartels expressed deep gratitude to her 1.5 million followers, crediting them with giving her grandmother's final years joy and meaning. She said Georgie had always been a superstar in her eyes, and was glad the world finally saw it too. A goodbye, but not the end Julia's tribute was not just a farewell, it was a love letter to a woman whose quiet dreams were finally celebrated. The emotional announcement has garnered over 10 million views, proving that Georgie's legacy lives on not just in fabric, but in the hearts of millions touched by her story.

Los Angeles protests: Meghan Markle's appearance at Natural History Museum gala postponed

Meghan Markle was all set to appear on June 14 at the Night of Wonder gala organized by the Natural History Museums of Los Angeles County (NHMLAC). The event has now been postponed due to the ongoing violence in Los Angeles in the aftermath of raids by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials. The event will now be held at a later date, as per People magazine. The decision to reschedule the event was taken by the Natural History Museum's leadership, Board of Trustees and event partners. They agreed that postponing the event was 'the appropriate response to current community circumstances,' the Natural History Museums of Los Angeles County said in a release. 'As an institution 'of, for, and with Los Angeles,' our responsibility during challenging times is clear: to serve as a community resource focused on healing and unity, not celebration,' Dr. Lori Bettison-Varga, President and Director of NHMLAC, told People. The event was planned to celebrate the Duchess of Sussex's work championing 'underserved communities.' In 2020, the Suits alum moved to Montecito, California, with Prince Harry and their kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, after the couple stepped back from royal duties. Since then, Meghan has been part of several events across Los Angeles, including the Paley Honors last year. 'We are proud to honor Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, a native Angeleno, whose work to advance community wellbeing and expand opportunity — especially for underserved communities — aligns with our equity-focused approach to developing science literacy for the next generation, including through our STEM and STEAM Pathways programs,' Dr. Bettison-Varga said in a statement. The event's postponement echoes another rescheduling related to the Duchess of Sussex's ventures. Earlier this year, Meghan postponed the premiere of her Netflix series With Love, Meghan due to the wildfires ravaging LA and other parts of California. She is the host of a show called With Love, Meghan. The show has been renewed for a second season. The Suits star stepped back from acting to marry Prince Harry in 2017. She shares two kids with her husband Prince Harry, Archie and Lilibet.
