Final practice open to the public
Monday's workout will be the Giants' final practice that will be open to the public. They have one more event the public can attend this summer, and that is next Wednesday's joint practice with the Jets.
Starters could play some snaps on Saturday
Head coach Brian Daboll did not rule out the prospect of some starters seeing action in Saturday afternoon's preseason opener in Buffalo.
Wilson is providing much-needed leadership
Free-agent quarterback Russell Wilson, a 10-time Pro Bowler and Super Bowl champion, has brought a wave of maturity. professionalism and leadership to the Giants' locker room and huddle this summer.
Nabers is putting on a show at camp

One of the top storylines this summer is the prospect of former third-round pick Jalin Hyatt finally fulfilling his promise as a top target in the passing game. Hyatt gained significant weight this offseason, and his participation in private workouts with Wilson and others has his profile on an uptick.
After a slow start at camp due to leg cramps, Hyatt is balling out in drills.

Everyone needs a boss to believe in them and Bo Nix certainly does. Broncos head coach Sean Payton has trust in his young quarterback — a lot of it. Nix led the nation in completions and completion percentage at 364 and 77.4, respectively. He was the offensive mastermind who helped Drew Brees thrive as an all-time great quarterback.

Ex-Giants running back LeShon Johnson found guilty in largest federal dog-fighting case ever
Ex-NFLer LeShon Johnson was convicted of six felony counts related to his role in a federal dog-fighting bust earlier this year. A federal jury in Oklahoma found the former Giants running back guilty last week of violating the federal Animal Welfare Act's prohibitions against possessing, selling, transporting, and delivering animals to be used in fighting ventures, the Department of Justice announced on Monday. Johnson will be sentenced at a later date and faces a maximum penalty of five years behind bars and a fine of up to $250,000 on each count. Raiders trade CB Jakorian Bennett to Eagles for DT Thomas Booker IV, AP source says
HENDERSON, Nev. (AP) — The Las Vegas Raiders are trading cornerback Jakorian Bennett to the Philadelphia Eagles in exchange for defensive tackle Thomas Booker IV, a person with knowledge of the deal said Monday. That person spoke on condition of anonymity to The Associated Press because the trade is pending physicals on both players. Bennett, drafted in the fourth round two years ago out of Maryland, started seven games for the Raiders last season before being shut down because of a torn labrum that required surgery. He played well as a cover cornerback, but Bennett was running with the second and third teams this training camp under first-year coach Pete Carroll. At 5-foot-10, Bennett doesn't fit Carroll's preference of playing taller cornerbacks. Six-foot Eric Stokes and 6-2 rookie Darien Porter have been competing with the starters this camp. Booker started one game and played in all 17 last season for the Eagles. He also appeared in four postseason games for the Super Bowl champions. But Booker, a 2022 fifth-round draft pick of Houston, was fifth on the depth chart at a deep defensive tackle position this season. The Raiders released defensive tackle Christian Wilkins on July 24 over a dispute over a recovery plan for a broken foot from last season.
