Vinay Pathak recalls working with Shah Rukh Khan in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi: ‘I gave Shah Rukh Khan the opportunity to work with me'
Vinay Pathak, known for his compelling performances in thought-provoking independent films, has also made a significant mark in mainstream cinema. He has shared screen space with several A-list stars in films such as Aaja Nachle and Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. In a recent interview with Bollywood Bubble, Vinay opened up about his experiences working on both these films and shared some interesting anecdotes.
Speaking about Aaja Nachle, he recalled a particularly cherished moment. 'Ek actor ka mainstream cinema mein kaam karne ka sabse bada sapna kya hota hai… Madhuri Dixit ke saath song and dance. So iss film ki sabse badi memory hai Madhuri ji aur maine duet gaana gaya hai. Woh aisa moment tha ki uske baad aap retire ho jaaye… nothing else matters. (What is an actor's biggest dream in mainstream cinema? To do a song and dance with Madhuri Dixit. So, the biggest memory from this film is that Madhuri ji and I sang a duet. It was such a moment that after it, you could retire… nothing else matters).'

When asked about Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, and specifically the transformation scene where his character helps Shah Rukh Khan's character adopt an entirely new persona, Vinay responded with his trademark humor. 'Itne bade superstar ke saath kaam karne ka mauka mila. In fact… sabse badi khushi iss baat ki huyi ki inko maine woh mauka diya mere saath kaam karne ka… warna Shah Rukh Khan saab ko kahan mauka milta Vinay Pathak ke saath kaam karne ka? Toh unko bhi avsar diya maine ki dekho guru, Ganga naha lo, humare saath kaam karke… toh hum dono ek doosre ke saath kaam karke bade hi khush thay. (I got the chance to work with such a big superstar. In fact, my greatest joy was that I gave him the chance to work with me… otherwise, when would Shah Rukh Khan ever get the opportunity to work with Vinay Pathak? So I gave him the opportunity too —'Come, my friend, bathe in the holy Ganga by working with me!' We were both very happy working together).'
Vinay Pathak's latest release is Chidya, a film completed in 2015 but stuck in limbo for nearly a decade before finally seeing a release.

Salman Khan once recalled how his uncle adopted a Nepalese domestic worker who was fired from job: 'He's one of our brothers now'
Salman Khan shared a touching story about Tesu, a Nepalese boy. Tesu once worked as a domestic help. After a dispute, Tesu was left without a home. The Khan family sheltered him. Later, Salman's uncle adopted Tesu. Tesu now lives in Indore with his family. Salman considers Tesu as his own brother. Salman was last seen in Sikandar. Salman Khan is known not just for his blockbuster films but also for his deep-rooted family values and compassion. While many are familiar with his close relationship with his adopted sister Arpita Khan, the superstar recently opened up about another touching family story—how a Nepalese domestic worker became an adopted brother, highlighting a lesser-known but heartfelt chapter from his life. A Heartwarming Family Story Few Know During a lighthearted conversation sparked by Jamie Lever's skit on what happens when a domestic worker quits, Salman shared a personal anecdote from his childhood. He recalled how a Nepalese boy named Tesu, who worked for a family on the fourth floor of their building, was suddenly let go after a dispute with the owner's child. With nowhere to go and far from home, Tesu found shelter with the Khans. However, Salman mentioned that their gesture drew complaints from other residents in the building. From Struggle to Stability: Tesu's Journey The superstar further shared that his uncle from Indore happened to be visiting Mumbai at the time and took notice of Tesu's situation. Concerned for the boy, he decided to take him back to Indore and eventually adopted him. Over the years, Tesu built a new life—he got married, had three children, and is now the owner of a property in Indore. Salman affectionately added that Tesu is considered one of their own, a true brother whose life changed for the better. Salman's Upcoming Projects and Recent Work He was last seen in the action thriller Sikandar, directed by AR Murugadoss. The film starred Rashmika Mandanna, Sathyaraj, Kajal Aggarwal, and Sharman Joshi in prominent roles.
