Police arrest wanted man after 'issues caused' in neighbourhood
The man had reportedly been causing issues "all day" yesterday, July 12, around the Over Hulton area, but the police say they were only told in the late afternoon.
Officers were called to the shopping precinct on Newbrook Road and spoke to him.
After finding he was wanted for an offence, they arrested him.
GMP have asked members of the public to report issues "directly to them" to ensure officers can deal with them.

A spokesperson for GMP Bolton said: "Neighbourhood Officers attended reports of a male causing issues at the Over Hulton Precinct. Officers spoke to the male, established he was wanted for an offence and swiftly arrested him.
"The male has been causing issues around the area all day but was only reported to police in the late afternoon.
"Reporting directly to us is essential to ensure neighbourhood officers can deal with what is important to your community.
"Officers also had time to say hello to the community and show the police car to children in the area."

Chicago police warn of car break-ins, armed robbery in South Loop, Near South Side parking garages
Chicago police issued a warning for a rash of car break-ins and an armed robbery in residential and public parking garages in the Near South Side and South Loop. Police said incidents were reported in the South Loop, Printer's Row and Motor Row District Sunday morning, all near each other. Cullerton Street between 6 a.m. and 9 a.m. on July 13 Police described the two suspects as Black men, one who is between 5 ft. 6 in. and 6 ft. tall, 140-180 lbs. wearing a black t-shirt, black jeans and a black ski mask, and the other described as 5 ft. 8 in. to 6 ft. tall, 140-160 lbs. wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants and a black ski mask. An investigation by Area Three detectives is ongoing.

2 men in custody after North Texas Kohl's smash and grab, leading police on chase
Two men are in custody after an alleged smash and grab at a North Richland Hills Kohl's jewelry counter, and one leading police on a brief chase Monday afternoon, officials said. Police were called to the Kohl's in the 6000 block of Precinct Line Road just before 1:30 p.m. for a man allegedly using a crowbar to break jewelry cases inside the store. The suspect and a passenger were in a vehicle when officers arrived. Police stopped the vehicle, but the passenger ran, leading officers on a short foot chase that ended near Walker and Grand Avenue. A 45-year-old man from Lancaster and a 36-year-old man from Dallas were taken into custody. North Richland Hills police said the entire incident happened within 8 minutes. Both suspects will be booked into the North Richland Hills Joint Detention Facility. Police have not yet identified the two men.

Police investigate Boyle Heights officer involved shooting death
A police investigation is underway after a man allegedly armed with a rifle in Boyle Heights was shot and killed by police Monday morning. Around 8:30, Los Angeles Police Department officers responded to a call of a man armed with a rifle in the area of Spence and Eighth streets. According to LAPD Sgt. William Cooper, when officers arrived, they found the armed man inside a van, and an officer-involved shooting occurred. SWAT was called to assist and attempted to make contact with the suspect, still inside the vehicle. They deployed gas, and there was no response from the suspect. Los Angeles Fire Department personnel declared the suspect dead at the scene. "At this time our Force Investigation Division has begun their investigation. They are going to review body-worn video, they are going to conduct officer interviews to determine circumstances that led up to this officer-involved shooting …" Cooper said.
