WWE: Five famous wrestlers who died in the past 10 years
While a few wrestlers have lived beyond the age of 80, many legends of the squared circle have left us early.

Hulk Hogan (1953-2025)
The 13-time champion died last week from cardiac arrest. Emergency responders were dispatched to Hogan's home in Clearwater, Florida, after a 911 call reported a cardiac emergency. He was treated at the scene by Clearwater Fire & Rescue and transported to Morton Plant Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 11:11.
Scott Hall (1958–2022)
Known as 'Razor Ramon' in WWE and a founding member of the nWo in WCW, Scott Hall redefined cool in wrestling. After a long battle with addiction, Hall passed away in March 2022 due to complications from hip surgery that led to multiple heart attacks. He was 63.
Roddy Piper (1954–2015)
A master of the mic and one of WWE's greatest villains, Roddy Piper brought unpredictability and intensity to every feud. His infamous 'Piper's Pit' segment set a standard for wrestling interviews. Piper died suddenly from a heart attack in July 2015 at the age of 61. Despite being a heel for most of his career, Piper was deeply respected by fans and peers. His legacy continues through his children, including MMA fighter Teal Piper.
Matt 'Rosie' Anoa'i (1970–2017)
Part of the legendary Anoa'i wrestling family, Rosie teamed with Jamal in 3-Minute Warning before later forming a superhero-themed tag team with The Hurricane. Rosie, who was the older brother of Roman Reigns, died from congestive heart failure in April 2017 at the age of 47.
Bray Wyatt (1987–2023)
Windham Rotunda, best known as Bray Wyatt, was a creative genius and three-time world champion. His eerie promos and reinvention as 'The Fiend' made him a modern-day icon. After battling heart issues exacerbated by COVID-19 complications, Wyatt died in August 2023 at just 36 years old.

The post isn't just a career retrospective - it's a vulnerable look at how grief can derail your dreams, but also how it can shape and even resurrect them. In his post, &friends writes: August 2015: 'After 6 years of DJing and making music, I lost my little brother. The music stopped. I quit completely.' The loss was too immense. In one moment, music - the thing that had defined him - had become unbearable. June 2016: To escape his grief, he uprooted his life, moving from San Diego to New York City. He joined a marketing agency simply to survive. 'Music? Dead to me,' he admitted. It was no longer a passion, just a reminder of pain. December 2018: Unexpectedly, an opportunity arose. A top NYC club invited him to DJ - the date? His brother's birthday. 'I said yes. For him.' That night, something stirred. 'People felt something. I did too.' 2020: The Covid-19 pandemic hit. While building the company and working 80-hour weeks, music became his outlet again. 'Every free second? I poured into music. It was the only thing keeping me sane.' October 2021: He leapt. He left his marketing job behind. 'Everyone said I lost it … Maybe I did. Maybe I was. But I couldn't live without music anymore.' 2022: He dropped his first record, and then came 'Ode Ireti' featuring El-Jay and Oluwadamvic. The track went viral after Keinemusik played it at Burning Man. 'Something shifted,' he recalls. 2023: His dream took off. He played his first international shows. After years of performing locally and undergoing several name changes, they finally became Destiny's Child when they signed with Columbia Records in 1997. The group eventually consisted of the three members we remember today: Beyoncé Knowles, Kelly Rowland, and Michelle Williams. The group spent the following seven years solidifying their status as thee girl group of the decade, churning out iconic hits like ' Bootylicious ,' ' Survivor ,' and ' Say My Name .' In 2006, they disbanded. This was around the time Beyoncé launched her second solo album, which marked the beginning of her rise to becoming the pop queen we know today. ' Cowboy Carter ' is Beyoncé's eighth studio album and is the second instalment in her three-act project. 'Third floor': Ox Nche celebrates his 30th birthday in style
Springbok Ox Nche celebrated his 30th birthday in style in his hometown of Bloemfontein this weekend. The popular player is known for his love of cake and for being one of rugby's best loosehead props in the world. Over the weekend, Ox Nche posted pictures of his 30th birthday celebration, which took place in Bloemfontein. The back-and-white party was attended by family and friends, and naturally included a big, beautiful cake!. He captioned the clip: 'The 3rd floor…Thank God for the wonderful life. Thank you for all the birthday wishes. Thank you to all the friends and family in my life. I love you guys'. While Ox Nche celebrated his 30th birthday, he has made 40 test match appearances for the Springboks. The Bok veteran is enjoying mingling with the squad's newbies, whom he has taken under his wing. He said of his mentorship: 'It makes you want to better yourself. You know the standards that have been set. It just makes you want to take them and try to elevate them to the next level.'
