Poco F7 specs leak along with plenty of images: 6.83" display, 50+8MP cameras

GSM Arena16-06-2025
The Poco F7 should be announced in the next couple of weeks and while we've had some leaks and some official teasers so far, this is the mother lode.
Poco F7 in White and Silver
The vanilla F7 will be larger than the Poco F7 Pro and Poco F7 Ultra with a 6.83' OLED display compared to their 6.67' panels, though with a lower resolution of 1,280 x 2,772px compared to their 1440p+. This display will still have top-notch color rendering with 12-bits, Dolby Vision and HDR10+ support. It will peak at 3,200 nits and dial that down with 3,840Hz PWM dimming.
It's not just the display, the Poco F7 will be physically larger than the Pro and Ultra at 163.1 x 77.9 x 8.2mm and 215.7g, compared to 160.3 x 75.0mm and 8.1mm/206g for the Pro and 8.4mm/212g for the Ultra.
Poco F7 in White
This comes with a larger battery, Poco and Flipkart officially revealed that the F7 will have 7,550mAh capacity with fast 90W charging and even fast reverse charging at 22.5W (usually reverse charging is in the 5W-10W range). The F7 battery dwarfs the batteries of the Ultra (5,300mAh) and even the Pro (6,000mAh). Note that in some regions the F7 might have a lower capacity of 6,500mAh (that's still bigger than the other two).
The Poco F7 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 as we saw in a Geekbench result. The chip will be paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.1 storage. The phone will run HyperOS 2/Android 15 out of the box and will be chock full of AI features.
Poco F7 in Silver
The camera system is centered around the 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor on the back, which is behind a wide-open f/1.5 lens with OIS. It is joined by an 8MP camera (most likely an ultra-wide) and a 20MP selfie camera.
The F7 will have stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos plus Hi-Res Audio and Hi-Res Audio Wireless certifications. Other connectivity options include 5G, 4G on Band 20 (800MHz), Wi-Fi 7, NFC and an IR blaster. The phone is rated IP68.
Poco F7 side views
Poco hasn't set an official reveal date yet, but the indications so far are that the Poco F7 will be unveiled by the end of the month. While you wait, you can check out our Poco F7 Pro vs. F7 Ultra article.

Google Pixel 10 leak hints at a bolder color shift and a missing favorite

We're still a few weeks out from the Pixel 10's expected debut, but a new leak has revealed what could be the phone's full set of color options. As per this report, the base model may launch in four colors: Obsidian, Indigo, Frost, and Limoncello. Obsidian is Google's long-running black finish and isn't going anywhere. The other three colors are more new and unique. Limoncello is a greenish yellow that's been rumored for months. Indigo looks like a darker version of Bay blue from the Pixel 7 series, while Frost appears to be a light blue with a subtle purple tone. So far, this leak only applies to the regular Pixel 10 . There's no word yet on what colors the Pixel 10 Pro or other variants might come in. Earlier reports we published at PhoneArena mentioned that the Pixel 10 Pro could launch in exclusive shades like Mojito and Licorice, which have yet to be confirmed. These reports also indicate that Google may use slightly different materials for each model, which could affect how the colors appear in person. Leaked (rumored) Google Pixel 10 base model colors. | Images credit — Android Headlines One surprise in this latest leak is the possible absence of Porcelain, Google's typical white or off-white color. It has been a mainstay of the Pixel series for years, and its omission this time may suggest a shift toward more colorful and expressive finishes. Another important point we've covered is how certain Pixel 10 colorways could be tied to specific storage options. Based on what we've seen, the base Pixel 10 might only come with 128GB of storage, while the Pixel 10 Pro is expected to offer up to 256GB or more. However, not all colors may be available in all configurations. For instance, Limoncello might be limited to one storage tier, which could influence how customers choose their model. With the launch expected in just a month from now on August 20, we can expect more leaks in the coming weeks. However, this early look at the color palette gives us another piece of the puzzle as we prepare for the Pixel 10 's official reveal which we will be covering in full right here.

vivo still leads the Indian smartphone market in the first half of 2025

vivo led the Indian smartphone market with 8.1 million shipments and a 21% share of the pie, according to new data released by the analysts at Canalys today. Its shipments have grown 31% over Q2 2024. It's followed by Samsung with 6.2 million shipments and a 16% market share, representing a 2% year-over-year (YoY) growth. In third is Oppo with 5 million shipments, a 13% market share, and 24% growth. Interestingly, the brands in fourth and fifth positions have both seen negative annual growth. Xiaomi managed 5 million shipments in Q2 this year with a 13% market share, and it's down 25% YoY, while fifth-place Realme shipped 3.6 million units for a 9% market share, down 17% from the year-ago quarter. The market overall grew 7% for a total of 39 million units shipped, up from 36.4 million in Q2 2024. The Indian smartphone market hasn't seen more shipments than in this Q2 since Q3 of last year, which is also the last time we saw any year-on-year growth. Canalys Principal Analyst Sanyam Chaurasia says vivo's V50 series "gained traction in Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities via large-format retail and wedding-led campaigns, while the Y-series sustained momentum in smaller cities and semi-urban markets through deep distribution and promoter push". Meanwhile, "the T-series also scaled steadily online with a broadened portfolio". Oppo's strong quarter was "buoyed by strong offline momentum from the A5 series and growing online traction via the K13". If you're wondering where Apple is - it was sixth, with the iPhone 16 family accounting for more than 55% of its shipments. Interestingly, the iPhone 16e has lost momentum post-launch, "as consumers questioned the value of its single-camera design and largely unrealized Apple Intelligence features". Canalys projects a small decline in shipments for the full year, "as structural demand challenges persist". Source

The vivo Y50 5G is official alongside the Y50m 5G - both solid entry-level smartphones for the China market. The core specs are the same; the difference is in the memory configurations - the Y50 has a 4GB option, while the Y50m starts from 6GB. Both have a 6.74-inch 1600x720px IPS LCD with a 90Hz refresh rate, and a potent 6,000mAh battery with 44W charging. They run OriginOS 5, and are powered by the 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 6300 with four RAM options - 4GB (Y50), 6GB, 8GB, and 12GB. You either get 128GB or 256GB of expandable storage. The Y50/Y50m is equipped with two cameras: a 13MP f/2.2 wide-angle lens on the back and a 5MP selfie shooter on the front. Both phones measure 167.3mm tall, 77mm wide, and 8.2mm thick, and weigh in at 204 grams. They're dust tight and have some degree of water protection at IP64. The Y50/Y50m come in Azure, Diamond Black, and Platinum and are now up for grabs from vivo's online store. The Y50 is CNY 1,199 (around €143, INR 14,500) for the 4/128GB model, CNY 1,499 (around €180, INR 18,000) for the 6/128GB one, CNY 1,999 (around €240, INR 24,000) for an 8/256GB config, and CNY 2,299 (around €275, INR 27,600) for the 12/256GB unit. The Y50m has the same prices - CNY 1,499, CNY 1,999, CNY 2,299 - and just lacks the base 4/128GB choice. Source
