Witbank Magistrate's Court operating with limited services today

The Witbank Magistrate's Court announced that due to the water outage plaguing eMalahleni, they are operating with limited services today. Court manager Thulani Mabena explained that they reached the decision to limit services because it is not safe to run the court without water. 'For tomorrow, we will reassess the situation in the morning. If there's still no water, we will then decide whether to postpone or to continue,' he said. Services that are proceeding are those that involve domestic violence, urgent court applications, and urgent state services; all the other cases were postponed. 'Despite the current challenges, we remain committed to upholding high standards in public service and ensuring that your essential needs are addressed as best as possible during this period,' Mabena concluded.
