Boots shoppers bag £69 worth of Liz Earle products for under £40 in bundle deal
Sale season is officially here. Shoppers looking for a bargain should head over to Boots, as the retailer has slashed the price off thousands of products to get customers summer-ready.
One of the standout offers is a beauty set from Liz Earle, it features skincare staples that have long been considered as 'favourites' among beauty editors and skincare enthusiasts. The Liz Earle Cleanse and Hydrate Collection is a top contender for nourishing tired and dull skin; it's worth £69 for the trio of skincare products but is now available for £37.50 (was £42) at Boots.
The moisture-boosting set is designed to leave the complexion cleansed, refreshed, and revitalised in only a few simple steps. Alternatively, Glossybox's Love & Glow Limited Edition beauty box offers a selection of makeup and skincare at £45, but is worth £150. While Cult Beauty's The Set for Sun Edit is valued at £175 for £45 and contains the likes of Laneige, Ultrasun and Elemis.
Inside the carefully curated Liz Earle set there's a 200ml Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser, a 200ml Instant Boost Skin Tonic, a 150ml Eyebright Soothing Eye Lotion, and two of Liz Earle's Pure Cotton Cloths to complete the routine.
Among the trio of hardworking products, the Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser is a multi-award-winning favourite. Loved for its gentle yet effective cleansing power, it's also enriched with rosemary and nourishing cocoa butter. This creamy formula works to effortlessly melt away dirt, stubborn make-up, and daily impurities.
In a review for the cleanser, one person shared: "This is such a nice cleanser. My skin never feels dry or tight after using it. It smells gorgeous, like a spa scent. It's my go-to for AM cleansing."
A second person wrote: "I'm in love with this cleanse and polish cleanser. It cleans so well and leaves my skin feeling fresh." A third person wrote: "You will be amazed at this product and how it gets all the dirt and grime out of your skin. It leaves skin refreshed, and once you have used it, you will certainly see the benefit to your skin."
However, some shoppers had mixed feelings. One review said: "I love the smell, texture, and the feeling during and after cleansing. I wouldn't say it's life-changing, but it's a really nice product to use."

The advent calendar contains a mix of full-sized icons, travel-friendly miniatures, and limited editions, with 24 surprises in total Liz Earle fans can get their hands on more than £300 worth of free skincare and pamper products, including full-sized favourites. It comes as the botanical beauty brand has launched their advent calendar for 2025, which offers huge savings on their bestselling products. The Liz Earle's 24 Days of Liz Earle Advent Calendar gives customers a chance to sample the brand's various collections, from Superskin to Glow. Inside, there's a mix of full-sized icons, travel-friendly miniatures, and limited editions, with 24 surprises in total. From the brand's cult-classic cleansers to luxurious creams and aromatic body care, it's a skincare lover's dream. Priced at £175, it's estimated to be worth £505.10, saving shoppers £330.10 on the contents. 'I'm trying to cut down my alcohol intake and this 99p low-calorie drink converted me' Harrods beauty advent calendar returns after fragrance one sold out in 48 hours One of the strongest draws is the sheer number of full-sized products, with 17 of the 24 items being full sized. Liz Earle includes generously sized favourites like the iconic Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser (in both the original and Rose & Lavender editions), the much-loved Instant Boost Skin Tonic, and nourishing creams for day and night. For fans of Liz Earle's premium Superskin range, the inclusion of the Advanced Nourishing Cleansing Balm, Radiance Reveal Night Cream, and Firming Serum-in-Moisturiser adds serious value. For those who love a head-to-toe pamper, there are even body and hair treats, including the Bergamot & Cardamom Body Cream and the Botanical Shine Nourishing Hair Oil. Given that many of the full-sized products retail individually at £20–£45, the products work out at around £7.30 as part of the deal. For loyal Liz Earle customers, this means substantial savings on their favourites, while for newcomers, it's an opportunity to explore the brand's products without committing to each item at full price. That said, Liz Earle's formulas are botanically based and scented with essential oils, which is a signature part of their brand, but may not suit those with fragrance sensitivities. The skincare-heavy selection also means it's best for people who already enjoy Liz Earle's formulas, while those looking for more cosmetics or a mix of brands might find it less exciting. If you're on the fence, it's worth comparing it to other beauty advent calendars. For those seeking more indulgence, Harrods launched their pre-orders last week. Retailing at £250, this premium countdown contains 32 high end products, with 14 full-sized items from revered and celebrity-loved brands like La Mer, La Prairie, Augustinus Bader, and Medik8. The Cult Beauty Advent Calendar often sells out quickly, and for 2025 boasts a value of more than £1,100, featuring 20 full sized products and 16 of this year's hottest launches. It's said to be 'bigger and bolder than ever' with more makeup products than in previous years. And if you love Liz Earle but still want a little more variety, there's the Boots Macmillan 24 Doors Of Joy Beauty Advent Calendar for 2025, priced at £90. L'Oreal recruits US OnlyFans porn model Ari Kytsya to promote makeup brand popular with teenagers
Cosmetics juggernaut L'Oreal has hired an OnlyFans model famous for filming porn to promote a makeup brand popular with teenagers. The 116-year-old firm hired Ari Kytsya, a US-based self-described 'mattress actress', as a brand ambassador for Urban Decay, a L'Oreal-owned line of makeup sold in Boots and other high street shops. In a video posted to Urban Decay's TikTok that has been viewed nearly 19million times, Kytsya tells viewers that 'censorship is out of control' and calls for 'uncensored makeup' that performs 'on stage, on camera and yes on mattresses'. While Kytsya produces some hair and makeup tutorials, as well as lifestyle content, she is best known for sharing adult content on OnlyFans, where she shares pornographic images and videos with her paying subscribers. Kytsya also releases videos in which she promises her 4.6million TikTok followers that starting an OnlyFans can be a lucrative career choice. In one video, she said: 'The thing about my job is if you go full out you can make enough money to start your own thing whether that's buying houses or doing Airbnbs and investing'. In others she offers practical advice for those who want to make their own OnlyFans account, encouraging people to take regular tests for STDs. Kytsya, however, also does acknowledge the 'danger' in her line of work, and tells girls 'who have just turned 18' not to rush into the industry. 'Take time to think about it before you do it', she said in one clip. Urban Decay, which L'Oreal bought in 2012, hired Kytsya to front its Battle the Bland campaign, citing the adult actress' 'uncensored main character energy'. The firm is known for its provocatively-named products, including 'Perversion' eyeliners, 'Naked' eyeshadows and 'All Nighter' setting sprays. However, Kytsya's hiring appeared to break L'Oreal's own 'Value Charter', which sets out standards for hiring influencers. The charter explicitly bans influencers who work with L'Oreal brands from posting, or have previously posted, pornography. A L'Oreal spokesperson, on behalf of Urban Decay, told the Guardian: 'Urban Decay partners with a diverse range of talent who represent the many facets of creative expression. 'Urban Decay chose US creator Ari Kytsya for her distinctive makeup artistry and her authenticity. She is known for her open and transparent dialogue with her community, fostering conversations about her personal experiences, including the joys, challenges, and risks of the industry she works in.' But the new CEO of the Fawcett Society, a UK-based women's rights group, said Kytsya might not be the best choice of brand ambassador for group with a high number of impressionable teenagers as customers. Penny East said: 'We have concerns about the thousands of very young women joining the site in the hope of finding fame and fortune. The majority of OnlyFans creators make very little money and the pressure to find a niche is pushing women to make increasingly explicit content. 'Ari Kytsya is one of the few successes. She is a hugely popular and engaging influencer, with a large following across all social media platforms. She also creates highly explicit and pornographic content on OnlyFans. 'The move to put OnlyFans content creators in high-street commercial makeup campaigns will only serve to make OnlyFans a more enticing prospect for young girls'.

Pete Wicks admits he's 'in love' with a new woman six months on from his romance with Maura Higgins
Pete Wicks has reluctantly admitted that he is 'in love' with a new mystery woman six months on from his break-up from Maura Higgins. The Only Way is Essex star, 36, was forced to confess his love on the Staying Relevant podcast with bestie Sam Thompson, 33. He was given a lie detector test that saw him hooked up to a polygraph as Sam hit him with a series of questions. Sam asked: 'Are you in love with somebody right now?' While Pete said no, the waiting polygrapher gave a thumbs down to indicate that the star was lying - and he proceeded to tease his new romance. An excited Sam said: 'Ahhh I knew it! And that's all we're going to say.' When asked why he had lied, Pete admitted: 'I don't know, it just came to my head, it's a f****** lie.' Sam was so excited by the news that he almost jumped out of his seat and said: 'Pete's in love with somebody. Find her! Find her! 'Pete's in love secretly and I think I know who it is.' Pete replied: 'You know exactly who it is, I literally told you the f****** story, she's not replied.' The angry reality star stressed: 'Why would you put that one in there? That was not on the f****** list!' Despite Sam's excitement, no further details - including the mystery woman's name - were revealed. An uncomfortable Pete asked: 'Are we f****** done with me now?' While Pete's relationship with Maura ended with allegations that he cheated, he has not yet confirmed any new romance. Pete and Maura were first linked in August last year, but the former couple went their separate ways in February, and Maura was later seen kissing McFly's Danny Jones at the BRITs. At the time, Pete distanced himself from the drama this caused by going on his already planned luxury holiday to Dubai. A source told the Daily Mail: 'Pete has moved on and couldn't care less about Maura. He feels indifferent about the drama currently surrounding her. 'He is focusing on himself and enjoying a break in the sun before getting back into work.' Pete stayed at The Lana hotel, the Dorchester Collection's first hotel in the Middle East, with rooms starting at £730 per night.
