Farmer Wants A Wife fans enraged over 'disrespectful' move: 'Game over'

Yahoo03-06-2025
Farmer Wants A Wife viewers have been left fuming after Tuesday night's episode made it crystal clear that Farmer Thomas has no intentions of trying to find love with two of his final three ladies. Fans would have heard Thomas tell Clarette on Monday night that he was on the show for her, and during Tuesday night's episode, he was acting as though he didn't also have Rachael, who has been on the show since the beginning, and 'intruder' Laura, back at the farm.
Thomas and Clarette enjoyed a very romantic date, which involved discovering beachside caves, a swim, and a picnic under the stars, with the farmer tracking down several of the teacher's nearest and dearest to share a video message for them. Understandably, Clarette, who is originally from the UK, became quite emotional seeing her loved ones onscreen, telling Thomas, "You've got my heart, so look after it, please. And I'll do the same with yours."
"Cheers to the most amazing date ever, and to many more to come," Thomas said.

To add insult to injury for the other women at the farm, Thomas then took Clarette to meet his uncle, to see if he would give her the tick of approval from his family.
In a preview for next week, we see Thomas being forced to finally tell Rachael and Laura that he's chosen Clarette, as well as a short clip of him telling Clarette he's chosen her.
Viewers were left confused by the fact that most of the farmers on the show play it a little more coy about who they might choose at the end of the show, and yet, Thomas has been so clear for the last couple of episodes that it was always going to be Clarette.
While other farmers chose to leave the show early once they found their person, Thomas appears to be stringing the other two women along for no real reason.
"WHY was Thomas allowed to continue on the show when he clearly had connected with Clarette... hardly fair for the other girls!" one viewer questioned.
"He never gave any of the other girls a chance - she just shoved herself on him and he was like a love sick puppy - not fair on the others," another agreed.
"This guy has been the most disrespectful and dishonest towards the other ladies," a third said. "He's been into Clarette the entire time, not willing to explore any other connections, and he's been keeping the others tagging along for nothing.
"Two of the previous farmers who experienced the same, were men enough to send the others home and walk away with the one they chose early into the sunset," they added. He is a child-man and I don't think he even remembers there are others there too."

"Rude shock coming for the other girls on the farm," someone else said. "They obviously don't care that they're being strung along."
"He wasted the other girls time," one annoyed viewer wrote.
"If he's in love with her well he needs to go until the other girls and stop wasting their time," yet another added.
"Game over then," one person wrote. "Such a pity he wasn't honest with his other ladies weeks ago. Once Claire left it became a one horse race."

Restaurant owner speaks out after car smashes through window where food creators were filming

A Texas restaurant is open for business again after a vehicle came crashing through the eatery over the weekend. The incident occurred at around 4 p.m. on Saturday at Cuvee Culinary Creations in Houston, according to restaurant owner Ivory Watkins. Two content creators who were dining at the establishment narrowly missed being struck by the vehicle, unintentionally capturing shocking footage of the moment, which the restaurant later shared on its Instagram page. Nina Santiago, known online as Nina Unrated, was filming her YouTube series, "Nina Unrated Eats," alongside fellow content creator Patrick Blackwood when a driver in an SUV plowed through the floor-to-ceiling glass windows where they were seated, knocking over the table and scattering the dishes directly in front of them, according to the video footage. In the video, fellow patrons and restaurant staff can be seen in the background looking on in shock as Santiago and Blackwood scramble out of their seats. Santiago wrote in an Instagram post afterward that she was "beyond grateful to be alive." She shared several photos from inside an ambulance and the hospital where she and Blackwood were apparently treated for their injuries, which show cuts on their faces, necks, arms and hands. Santiago and Blackwood did not immediately respond to ABC News' requests for comment. Watkins described the incident as "a freak accident," telling ABC News he had just walked away from Santiago and Blackwood's table seconds prior to the moment of impact. "I was looking at my two customers and thinking, 'What is going on? This is crazy,'" he recalled. "We never know what God has in store for us -- I'm glad they're safe." Watkins said he called 911 as soon as the incident occurred, adding that the manager of the restaurant was quick to tend to Santiago and Blackwood in the immediate aftermath and helped provide care for their cuts and scrapes until paramedics arrived on the scene. Watkins said "police came out and did their due diligence" and a report was filed by the Harris County Sheriff's Office. The owner apologized for the incident, saying, "My job at my restaurant is to keep my guests safe. I fell short." "We were glad that we didn't have any more guests [at the time of the crash]," he added. "The main thing is everybody is safe." The restaurant's windows are currently boarded up, however Watkins was able to reopen for service on Sunday. He said the establishment has new safety measures in place, including two company vehicles and two employee vehicles that are parked in the parking spaces in front of the restaurant's window seating.

French streamer dies live online after months of apparent abuse

French police are investigating the death of a popular streamer, who died during a nearly 12-day live stream after apparently suffering abusive and humiliating treatment. Raphaël Graven, 46, known online as Jean Pormanove or JP, is one of the biggest streamers in France on the platform Kick and died on Monday. The 46-year-old military veteran had built a following numbering more than a million across different platforms streaming himself playing video games and had often appeared in extreme challenges. He had been collaborating since 2023 with several other streamers, principally Owen Cenazandotti, known as Naruto online, and Safine Hamadi, both of whom took part in his final livestream. Cenazandotti announced his death Monday on Instagram. In the video livestream that appeared to show his death, after he stopped moving, viewers donated money to send messages alerting the sleeping streamers to Pormanove's condition. The Nice prosecutor's office told CNN that an investigation has been opened into his death and an autopsy ordered. So far, authorities have not announced any charges related to Pormanove's death. In dozens of videos from past livestreams reviewed by CNN, Pormanove appears to be the target of jokes, bullying, physical attacks and degrading stunts. Videos from their joint livestreams show Pormanove's fellow streamers competing to see how long they could throttle him, others show him being shot with paintballs or doused with water. Thanks to donations from subscribers, the group earned money from the livestreams. In Pormanove's final livestream, a counter at the top of the screen suggested the group had earned some 36,000 euros ($42,000) from the days-long stream. Leaving a mark During Pormanove's final livestream, which appeared to run to nearly 300 hours, participants were woken up by the revving of a motorbike in their shared bedroom, or a leafblower. At one point, Pormanove appears to be woken up when a bucket of water is thrown over him. In an interview with CNN affiliate BFMTV, Yassin Sadouni, a lawyer for Cenazandotti, said Pormanove suffered from cardiovascular problems. In one video, Pormanove talked of having to take medication. In another, Cenazandotti purports to read out messages Pormanove sent to his mother in which he complains of being 'held prisoner' by his co-streamers. The game 'is going too far,' Cenazandotti said his message read, during Pormanove's last livestream. 'I feel like I'm being held prisoner by their sh***y concept,' Cenazandotti said Pormanove wrote. It's not clear who precisely Pormanove was referring to and in a later clip he tells Cenazandotti, 'you know what I'm like when I'm angry' in reference to the messages. In another clip, his mother berates Pormanove over the phone for letting the co-streamers shave off parts of his hair. 'Are you proud of your hair? Did you see what he did to you?' she said, 'They are treating you like s***.' Sadouni, Cenazandotti's lawyer, told BFMTV that Pormanove's mother participated in staged stunts with the streamers. A common theme in discussions with his co-streamers was Pormanove's wish to marry and have children, a hope that often drew apparently mockery from the streamers. In a video from 2024, Pormanove was asked how he hoped to be remembered when he died. 'No wife, no kids. But what a nice guy!' Pormanove said, 'Me, what's on my mind now, it's to leave a mark.' 'An absolute horror' Sadouni said Cenazandotti – known by his streamer handle Naruto – had nothing to do with Pormanove's death and said that the incidents targeting Pormanove were all staged. 'My client is ready to be heard and to provide all useful information,' he told CNN affiliate BFMTV Tuesday. Cenazandotti has also filed a complaint with authorities that he is being harassed online since Pormanove's death, according to Sadouni. CNN has reached out to Pormanove's mother and Hamadi for comment. Cenazandotti and Hamadi were briefly detained as part of a police investigation into the humiliation of vulnerable people in January 2025, according to CNN affiliate BFMTV. According to the Nice prosecutor, they denied committing any crime and have not been charged with any crime. 'The death of Jean Pormanove and the violence he endured are an absolute horror,' French Secretary of State for Artificial Intelligence and Digital Affairs Clara Chappaz said in a post on X Tuesday. 'Jean Pormanove was humiliated and mistreated for months live on the Kick platform,' she added. Kick, the streaming platform the streamers used, said that all those involved in the broadcast had been banned 'pending the ongoing investigation,' which the site will cooperate with, per a statement to CNN Wednesday.

NEVER Do These 10 Things In A Drive-Thru, According To Fast Food Workers

Fast food drive-thrus are designed for convenience, but there are some unspoken etiquette rules to follow. We dug through Reddit threads and compiled a list from fast food employees about their biggest drive-thru pet peeves. Offenses include placing a large order, being indecisive, smoking, and playing loud music. The drive-thru window has been a game-changer for the fast food industry. Nearly every chain has one, so you can grab a Crunchwrap Supreme or McDonald's Coke without even parking your car. But we've all sat in a line that's felt less than convenient–and it's likely the result of some drive-thru faux pas. To keep things moving, fast food workers say there are a few etiquette rules every customer should know. We scoured Reddit—from subs for all fast food employees to ones dedicated specifically to McDonald's and Starbucks—and compiled a pretty extensive list. Here's what workers hate the most (and wish you'd stop doing): 1. Smoking Or Vaping Just don't. Not everyone wants smoke blown in their face—or the smell that lingers. "The smoking thing makes me so angry," one Reddit user wrote. "I'm already breathing tons of carcinogens from car exhaust, don't smoke there and add to it!" 2. Being Indecisive When Ordering We know it's tough to decide, but please, hurry up. (Here's Delish-approved inspo from the McDonald's Dollar Menu and Wendy's breakfast menu.) "Find out what your passengers want before you're at the speaker," one Reddit user commented. "If you're not familiar with the menu, go inside and order carry out." 3. Placing Orders From The Passenger Seat Drive-thru speakers are already hard to hear through, and loud passengers make it even more difficult for employees to get your order right. Be prepared! "I get you want to order for yourself, but unless you're screaming, we CANNOT hear you. It won't kill your dad or boyfriend to say your order," a Reddit user wrote. 4. Placing A Massive Order If you're placing a large order, head inside instead of holding up the line. "Customers who order +$20 worth of anything in the drive-thru are a big one for me," a Reddit user posted on the thread. "If your order is going to cost that much, please park." 5. Getting Distracted By Your Phone Scrolling through Instagram will only get you distracted and slow down the line. Be aware when it's your turn to move forward, rather than stalling everyone else. "SITTING ON YOUR PHONE IN THE DRIVE THRU WITHOUT PAYING ATTENTION!!!," one frustrated Reddit user posted. 6. Ordering More Food At The Second Window The pick-up window is for paying and grabbing your food—and that's it. "Please try not to order anything at the second window/window where you get your food," a Reddit user begged. "Especially during our busy hours or if you are adding on more than one simple item." 7. Not Having Your Payment Ready Rummaging through your wallet or paying in loose change slows everything down. Get your payment ready while waiting in line, and not at the window. "Don't pay anything like $5 or more in all change," one Reddit user wrote. "Especially in anything not quarters." 8. Having Loud Engines Or Playing Loud Music It's already difficult to hear through a headset. Don't make it worse with obnoxiously loud engines or music. "Turn off your engine if you have a loud exhaust," a Reddit user suggested. 9. Handing Them Your Garbage It's gross and unsanitary. And if you couldn't guess, drive-thru workers hate it. There's even an entire Reddit thread about it. 10. Checking Your Entire Order At The Window It's okay to double-check that your order is correct, but pull forward to keep things moving instead of blocking the line. "Have some courtesy for the people behind you," this Reddit user wrote, "and go find a parking space to check on your food in."
