Shah Rukh Khan Not Injured On King Set, Undergoes Routine Treatment In US: Report

News182 days ago
A report by NDTV has clarified that Shah Rukh is not injured. A source close to the actor shared, 'The rumours of Shah Rukh suffering a back injury on the sets of King are completely untrue." They explained that the actor does deal with old injuries flaring up once in a while, and he travels to the US for regular check-ups and treatment when needed.
So, this trip is nothing out of the ordinary for him.
According to a report by Bollywood Hungama earlier, the superstar had sustained an injury while shooting an intense action sequence at Golden Tobacco studio in Mumbai. Though the specifics of the injury remain confidential, insiders reveal that SRK has now flown to the United States for medical attention.
'It's not a serious injury, but more of a muscular strain," a source close to the production shared. 'Over the years, Shah Rukh has picked up multiple injuries from stunt work, and this seems to be a result of accumulated stress." The insider added that the actor's team opted for precautionary care abroad, ensuring he receives the best treatment available.
King is a much-talked-about project, mainly because it stars Suhana Khan, Shah Rukh's daughter, alongside him — marking their first film together. There's also buzz that the film features a star-studded cast including Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Rani Mukerji, Jackie Shroff, Anil Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Raghav Juyal and Abhay Verma. However, an official announcement is still awaited.
Before King, Shah Rukh was last seen in Dunki, directed by Rajkumar Hirani, which released in December 2023. The film starred Taapsee Pannu, Boman Irani, and Vicky Kaushal in key roles. Prior to that, he led the action blockbuster Jawan, directed by Atlee, which featured Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Deepika Padukone and many others.

Tanishk Bagchi talks about Saiyaara title track: 'People knew me for remixes—good that they now see the original'

The well-known composer Tanishk Bagchi , who is long associated with Bollywood remixes, is finally being celebrated for his original work, thanks to the soulful title track of 'Saiyaara.' In a recent interview, Bagchi opened up about the emotional journey behind the song, his collaboration with Mohit Suri , and how the film marks a turning point in his career. 'I was going through a lot in my love life when I made this' Tanishk Bagchi revealed in an interview with NDTV that the song was created during a difficult phase in his personal life. He shared that the emotional ups and downs in his relationship deeply influenced the music. While working on the song, he also came to the realization that he hadn't been able to devote enough time to his partner. The emotional weight of that period, he said, shaped the song's tone and lyrical depth, making it one of his most personal compositions to date. Mohit Suri's process: 'He treats a song like a situation' Tanishk Bagchi credited director Mohit Suri for making music a key element of the film's narrative. He shared that Mohit develops the songs early in the process, treating each one as an integral situation in the story. In fact, they completed the music nearly a year before filming began. He added that Suri sees him as 'the most romantic, most aggressive in romance through music,' which helped unlock a deeper creative synergy between them. From remix tag to original recognition Known for chartbusters like Dilbar, Aankh Maarey, and Lut Gaye, Tanishk Bagchi has long been labeled a 'remix specialist.' However, the success of Saiyaara has helped shift that perception. He shared that he's glad audiences are finally acknowledging his original work, as earlier much of his recognition was tied to remixes. He hopes this marks a return to the era of music sittings and composer-led storytelling, recalling how his father spoke of filmmakers collaborating deeply with legends like RD Burman. Composing for newcomers vs. stars Bagchi also spoke about the difference in visibility when composing for newcomers like Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda compared to established stars. He noted that with fresh faces, the music composer often gets more recognition. In contrast, when working on films featuring big names like Varun Dhawan or Ranbir Kapoor, the spotlight typically falls first on the actors, followed by the director—leaving the composer further down the list. He said the moment he saw Ahaan and Aneet together, he instinctively felt his song would 'blend with them.'

Are they feeling, 'Yaar yeh akele pee gaye aur humko nahin diya?!'' He added, 'It's an incident of my life which took place 40 years ago. Woh maine bol diya. Usme kya ho gaya? When you say 'friend', it means those whom you meet 5-6 times a month and whom you talk to several times a week. Moreover, neither Akshay nor I are social. So, there's no question of us bumping into each other at any party. Hence, I called him a colleague. And this resulted in (speculations). People are asking, 'Kya ho gaya (aap dono ke beech)?' Arre bhai, kuch nahin hua.' Paresh Rawal's controversial urine statement Speaking to The Lallantop, Paresh Rawal said, 'Veeru Devgan had come to visit when I was in Nanavati (hospital). Rawal added, 'I had decided if I had to drink my own urine, I'll not have it at one go; I'll sip it like beer. Because I want to do it properly. I did this for 15 days. Fifteen days later, when the doctor took my x-ray, he was shocked. The doctor asked me, 'How did this cementing happen?' He could see a white line forming. I was supposed to be discharged in 2-2.5 months, but I was discharged in 1.5 months. It was like magic.'

Karan Johar once asked Abhishek Bachchan if he was torn between Jaya Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai, his reply was...

Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan have consistently enchanted their fans with their timeless love story in Bollywood. Their connection, family interactions, and the keys to their robust relationship remain subjects of intrigue. A notable insight into their initial married life was shared during their guest appearance on Karan Johar's well-known talk show, 'Koffee With Karan.' What did Karan Johar ask Abhishek Bachchan? In a memorable episode of Koffee With Karan, host Karan Johar posed a playful yet probing question to Abhishek Bachchan: Did he ever feel caught between the three significant women in his life, his mother, his sister, and his wife? The inquiry, delivered with Johar's characteristic flair, elicited a moment of levity and introspection, to which Aishwarya, seated beside Abhishek, responded with a witty remark, highlighting the unique dynamics of familial relationships. The actress, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, replied in fast pace and said, 'Only time the wife would be called the other woman as you said it,' turning the conversation into a light-hearted exchange. Abhishek, acknowledging the strength and harmony among the women in his life, credited them for maintaining balance within the family. He noted that his mother and wife share a close bond, often discussing everything together, which has been instrumental in fostering a supportive household. Abhishek said, 'I think credit has to be given entirely to the girls. I have very little to do with it. What also works is that Maa and she (Aishwarya) are very close. They talk about everything.
