Overwhelmed SRK calls National Award responsibility to show truth, not finishing line
Khan further says, "I want to thank all my directors and writers especially for the year 2023. So, thank you Raju Sir, thank you Sid and especially Atlee Sir and his team for giving me the opportunity in his film 'Jawan' and trusting me to deliver and be worthy of this award. Atlee Sir, this is like you say, 'Mass'. I want to thank my team and management which works tirelessly with me. They bear with me, my eccentricities, impatience and give me their full attention and making me look much better than I am like even now in this video.""This award, without their perseverance and love, would not be possible at all. Thank you so much for everything you do. My wife and kids, who over the last few years gave me so much more love and care as if I am the kid in the house and they want the best for me. They know my obsession for cinema takes me away from them. But they all bear it with a smile and allow me the time. So thank you for that," the actor went on."A National Award is not just an achievement. It's a reminder that what I do matters. It tells me to keep going, keep working hard, keep creating and keep serving cinema. In a world full of noise, being truly heard is a blessing. And I promise to use this recognition not as a finish line, but as a fuel to continuous striving, learning and giving back. Ye award mere liye ek reminder hai ki acting sirf ek kaam nahi hai, ek zimmedari hai. Screen par sach dikhane ki zimmedari. Aap sab ke pyar ka main bohot boot abhaari hoon aur Bharat sarkar ka is sammaan ke lie bohot bohot shukriya. And then lastly to my fans, "Thank you for all the cheers and all their tears and thank you for pausing while scrolling for watching me. This award is for you, for all of you. And yes, I would love to spread my arms for you and share my love. But I am a bit indisposed. But don't worry. Keep the popcorn ready. I will be back in theatres and soon on the screen. So till then, just with one hand, ready." View this post on Instagram A post shared by Shah Rukh Khan (@iamsrk)'Jawan' was backed by Khan's home production company - Red Chillies Entertainment. Astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla is set to return to India on Sunday (August 16, 2025) after his historic visit to the International Space Station (ISS) and is eager to share his experiences with friends and colleagues back home as ISRO eyes its maiden human spaceflight in 2027. Mr. Shukla, who has been in the U.S., training for the Axiom-4 mission to ISS for the past year, is expected to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and travel to his hometown Lucknow soon after. He is expected to be back in the capital to participate in the National Space Day celebrations on August 22-23. Mr. Shukla posted on Instagram a smiling photograph of himself sitting in an aeroplane, and said in its caption that he was filled with mixed emotions as he left the U.S. and could not wait to return to India to share his experiences with everyone back home. "As I sit on the plane to come back to India, I have a mix of emotions running through my heart. I feel sad leaving a fantastic group of people behind who were my friends and family for the past one year during this mission.
