Charity discovers triple death secret in Emmerdale that leaves her out for blood
The recent limo crash that left three people dead in Emmerdale seemed like a tragic accident.
Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) had been driving one of the two limos hired for the evening when, out of nowhere, her son Noah (Jack Downham) stumbled straight in front of the car. Swerving to avoid him, the car ended up on a frozen lake.
Suzy Merton (Martelle Edinborough) was killed in the initial impact, while Amy Barton (Natalie Ann Jamieson) lost her life when she plunged through the ice trying to escape and Leyla Harding (Roxy Shahidi) died on her way to hospital.
It was a shattering event that rocked the entire village, but the big mystery behind it was why Noah was wandering about the woods in the snow after dark, apparently under the influence of a drug he didn't know he'd taken.
It's something that has nagged at Charity and for a long time she's had the feeling that it had something to do with Joe Tate (Ned Porteous). When Noah realised he had a vague memory of waking up at some point in a hospital with Joe in the room there was nothing that could be pinned on Joe – but Charity knew that Joe had spiked Noah.
What she couldn't work out was the reason. Viewers know that Joe was in desperate need of a kidney transplant and was having Noah tested – without his knowledge or consent – to see if he was a match. He wasn't, and Joe eventually got the kidney he needed from his uncle Caleb Miligan (William Ash), again without knowledge or consent.
This is all about to come to light, and it's fair to say that when Charity finally learns the truth she's going to be gunning for revenge against Joe Tate.
Caleb has already worked out that Joe stole his kidney, and talking to Noah helped him put the final piece in the puzzle. In upcoming episodes Ruby (Beth Cordingly) lets slip to Charity that she knows something about who spiked Noah. More Trending
Charity quizzes her and eventually works everything out about Noah's spiking, the limo crash and Caleb's kidney.

An enraged Charity makes a pledge that she will make sure Joe has his comeuppance.
She talks to Noah and enlists him in her plot, but he struggles with the knowledge that Joe spiked him and led him to cause the deaths of the three women in the limo crash, something that has been troubling his conscience.

EastEnders star Jamie Foreman says soap isn't 'anywhere near the highlight of my career' as he accuses show bosses of breaking promises
Jamie Foreman has revealed that EastEnders is 'nowhere near the highlight' of his acting career as he accused show bosses of failing to keep promises made before he joined the soap. The actor, 67, played Derek Branning from November 2011 until the character's death in the dramatic Christmas Day episode of 2012. Despite his role in one of Walford's most infamous families, Jamie said he doesn't consider the part a standout moment in his career - even though it gave him the opportunity to work alongside icons like Dame Barbara Windsor. Speaking on the Lewis Nicholls show, Jamie admitted: 'I'm going to be a little bit controversial here. 'I don't see EastEnders as anywhere near the highlight of my career. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the Daily Mail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. 'It was a lovely job and I respect it. But for me… they'd asked me so many times before.' He went on to explain that producers promised him flexibility and favourable working conditions before he signed on. He continued: 'They said, "it's with the best family, it's full on, you can do as long as you want". I said, "I only want to do it for a year." 'I went and met with them and they made me all manner of promises that they never kept, like "you'll never work a Saturday". I did every Saturday. I was the first in, last out every day.' The BBC declined to comment, and Jamie's representative has also been approached. During his short tenure on the show, Derek Branning made a significant impact. He had an affair with Kat Slater, tormented Pat Butcher on her deathbed, and revealed the truth about Dennis Rickman to his son, Denny Watts. This isn't the first time Jamie has voiced criticism of his time on EastEnders. In a 2013 appearance on Daybreak, he said: 'I hated the scenes in the Queen Vic, I'm terribly sorry to everybody! 'I'm sure a lot of the cast will say the same thing - they're so long and laborious. 'You've got to stand there and wait for somebody over there to stop talking, so you're listening to that conversation, then it cuts to somebody else. You never shoot a scene quickly in there.' In 2020, Jamie revealed he suffered a heart attack, just like his character did in the BBC soap. Speaking to The Sun about his health scare, Jamie said: 'I had a massive heart attack a couple of years back and nearly pegged it. 'That put everything in perspective. All the years and energy I'd spent stressing about work and now I think "I've been there, done that".' Jamie has had an illustrious film and TV career, starring in movies such as Layer Cake, Oliver Twist and Nil By Mouth. Despite his successful career, he has been candid about the challenges he's faced in finding work. He told the Business & Money supplement in The Sunday Times: 'I've been sort of struggling on the work front. 'I wasn't terribly well a few years ago and it made me really reappraise things, so I'm in a transitional period. I'm only working if something nice comes in. 'My wife and I set up a little fashion business, Jules Boutique, in Surrey a while ago, which is her shop really and it's still burgeoning.' Jamie was previously married to EastEnders actress Carol Harrison, who played Louise Raymond. They share a son, Alfie.

Boy, 16, killed in 'hit and run' was walking 'to pick up a takeaway'
A 16-year-old schoolboy killed in a suspected hit-and-run in Sheffield was on his way to pick up a takeaway, witnesses have said. Abdullah Yaser Abdullah Al Yazidi, known locally as Abdul, was walking along the pavement on Staniforth Road, in Darnall, when he was hit by a grey Audi on Wednesday afternoon. The car appeared to swerve towards three e-bike riders, crashing into one of them before hitting Abdul. He was taken to hospital but died of his injuries. The 18-year-old e-bike rider sustained serious injuries which are not life-threatening. Shabnam Begum, 34, witnessed the aftermath and arrived to crowds of people filming on their phones and emergency services. 'I crossed over and saw Abdul on the floor. His skin colour was pale and he had dry lips. There was screaming and shouting all around,' she told Metro. 'I went back to my home and grabbed some bedsheets and returned to cover him up. 'It was heartbreaking to witness. He was in the wrong place at the wrong time.' Shabnam has lived in the area for around 20 years and said that Abdul worked in what locals call the 'red shop' with his older brother and dad by the Al-Shafeey Centre mosque. 'His dad sent him to pick up a takeaway before it happened,' she added. The mum-of-two lives across the road from where the crash occurred and said Abdul, his dad, older brother and sister moved to Darnall to escape war-torn Yemen six months ago. Abdul's mum later joined the family once they had settled in to their new life in the UK. 'He was a very happy child who would always give it his 100% in the shop because he came from a war-torn country,' she said. 'He was a beautiful young boy. I can never forget his smile every time I visited the shop. 'I would often ask if he was ok in the shop and he would put his little thumb up.' Shabnam said that people in the community are meant to be celebrating Eid but the mood is subdued since Abdul's death. She said that speeding on the main road has been an issue for many years with many drivers going over the 20mph limit. Shabnam says she feels unsafe in the area following the crash because Abdul was hit on the pavement. 'I'm always extra careful looking both ways before I cross the road since the crash. 'It has really impacted people in the local area but what is nice is that the community has come together to remember him.' A 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder. A 26-year-old man arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender has now been re-arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder. They both remain in police custody. Two people, a man, aged 46, and a woman, aged 45, arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender have both been bailed pending further enquiries. A tribute to the teen posted on Facebook reads: 'The teenager who was struck by a vehicle in Darnall has been named as 16-year-old Abdullah Yaha Al-Zaidy. 'Abdullah, known locally as Abdul, was a beloved member of the Al-Shafeey Centre mosque. 'May Allah grant him the highest ranks of Jannah and grant his family and friends strength and patience during this unimaginable time. 'It is deeply heartbreaking to see his photo—a boy always smiling, always full of joy. 'He worked tirelessly alongside his father and had plans to begin college soon.' More Trending Senior Investigating Officer in the case, Detective Chief Inspector Benjamin Wood, described it as a 'heartbreaking case' which involved a 'completely innocent boy'. He confirmed a team of detectives are working at pace to piece together the circumstances which unfolded. He added: 'I am renewing our message to not share footage of this incident which may cause further distress to Abdullah's loved ones. They have lost a son and beloved member of the family in the most tragic of circumstances and have requested for their privacy to be respected.' Police have urged people to send through footage, imagery or information that may help in their investigation. Alison Hammond shuts down bizarre pregnancy claim in best way possible
Alison Hammond has shut down speculation that she's pregnant in the most hilarious way possible after false rumours spread online. The Great British Bake-Off and This Morning host, 50, has reportedly been the subject of false AI-generated stories that are claiming she's with child. Alison has one child – her son Aidan who was born in 2005 – but she appears to be determined not to have any more if her latest comments are anything to go by. Naturally, Alison has responded to the pregnancy rumours with good spirit and humour, taking to social media to deny them in the best way possible. Posting to her Instagram account, which has 1.7 million followers, she said: 'Lots of AI stories online about me being pregnant, I can confirm I am not having a baby.' She continued: '[I'm definitely not pregnant] as I'm not sure my 50-year-old womb could take it. However, I do think we should all dance like Meghan.' To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video The statement was accompanied by a video of Alison dancing around her living room after stuffing her dress with a giant pillow to mimic a pregnant belly. Referencing the already famous video of Meghan Markle dancing while heavily pregnant with daughter Princess Lillibet, Alison busted a move or two while waving her hands in the air like she just didn't care. In the video, which was taken four years ago, the heavily pregnant Duchess of Sussex is shown dancing in a hospital room to the sound of Starrkeisha song Baby Momma. Meghan posted on her Instagram to celebrate Lili's fourth birthday on Wednesday, writing: 'Four years ago today, this also happened. 'Both of our children were a week past their due dates – so when spicy food, all that walking, and acupuncture didn't work – there was only one thing left to do!' The happy video has (of course) drawn some criticism on social media after Meghan was seen to twerk at one point, with online users criticising her behaviour. For Metro, Kirsty Ketley argued back: '[The video] shows something powerful: joy. A woman, supported by her partner, using music and laughter to cope with one of the most intense moments of their life.' Commenting on Alison's video, Bryony Gordon called Alison 'our queen' while Lisa Snowden applauded, celebrated, and laughed at the clip with a group of emojis. More Trending Scottish radio presenter Jenni Falconer commented saying 'You are just brilliant' and added three big love hearts in her message to Alison. Alison's son Aidan, now 19, was born in 2005 when the Big Weekend presenter was engaged to Noureddine Boufaied – the couple split in 2014. She confessed, 'I felt that failure with [Noureddine] when we broke up, but he moved on and has three other kids now and they are part of our life,' but revealed that they have successfully co-parented over the years.
