ESPN host Molly Qerim is taking heat for what she said about the Caitlin Clark fiasco on Tuesday evening.
There was a major brawl during the Indiana Fever vs. Connecticut Sun game on Tuesday evening. Clark, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft, was hammered by Jacy Sheldon and then knocked to the ground by Marina Mabrey. Clark then received a technical foul for the incident, which took place in the third quarter of the game.

Indiana went on to win, 88-71, over Connecticut on Tuesday evening.
The incident is making all sorts of headlines on Wednesday morning.
Fever head coach Stephanie White said that the referees need to do a better job of keeping things under control.
"I think that it was pretty obvious that stuff was brewing when officials don't get control of the ball game, when they allow that stuff to happen," White said. "And it's been happening all season long. It's not just this game, it's been happening all season long.
"When you allow them to play physical and you allow these things to happen, they're gonna compete," White continued. "And they're gonna have their teammates' backs. It's exactly what you expect out of fierce competition. I started talking to the officials in the first quarter, and we knew this was gonna happen. You could tell it was gonna happen. They gotta get control of it, they gotta be better."

Meanwhile, on Wednesday morning, ESPN's "First Take" discussed the incident.
Stephen A. Smith believes that players are targeting Clark to a higher degree. Meanwhile, Molly Qerim suggested that people are only getting upset because they're not comfortable watching women fight.
Qerim, who has co-hosted "First Take" since 2015, is taking heat for her comment.
"One of the dumbest takes I have ever heard coming from her mouth," one fan wrote.
"This is basketball not UFC." one fan added.
"It's incredibly obvious to anyone that these WNBA players are jealous of Clark," one fan added.
