Sharlene Mawdsley beams as boyfriend lines out in Tipp win
Tipperary took on Kilkenny in the second All Ireland Senior Hurling semi-finals on Sunday at Croke Park, with the game going down to the final whistle.
14-man Tipperary were victorious on an initial tally of 4-21 to 0-30, however the GAA have since confirmed the final point given to Tipperary was actually wide. Sharlene Mawdsley paid her first visit to Croke Park over the weekend but has promised it won't be her last as she supported boyfriend Michael Breen and the Tipperary GAA team. Amongst attendees was Olympian Sharlene Mawdsley who was beaming alongside county hurler Michael following the win.
The runner and hurler confirmed their relationship online in May when Sharlene was on cheerleader duties when Tipperary hosted Waterford at Semple Stadium.
Sharing a photo of herself alongside the corner-back, Sharlene wrote: 'Tippin' on,' with Michael cheekily sharing the post to his Instagram Story joking that 'this fan was following me around all day.'
On Sunday, Sharlene paid a visit to Croke Park for the first time as she cheered on her boyfriend and home county as they secured their place in the All Ireland Senior hurling final in two weeks time.
It will be a Munster v Munster All Ireland as Cork booked their place in the final on Saturday following a huge win against Dublin.
Michael shared a sweet snap alongside Sharlene to Instagram, writing: 'First time in Croker is it,' with many taking to the comments obsessed with the cute couple. Well-known social media personality praises Wexford humour during visit
Fabu-D moved to Ireland when he was 14 years old and gained fame through his social media videos where he portrays comedic characters that also touch on his experience as an immigrant in Ireland. He currently boasts over 619,000 followers on Facebook, nearly 700,000 on TikTok and 184,000 on Instagram. He travelled down to Enniscorthy for the 'Dublin Invasion' comedy show hosted by Brendan Robinson and featuring acts Joe Dowlin, Willa White, and Eric Lalor in the IFA centre on Friday, July 18. Taking to social media, he filmed his escapades around the town, taking in the sites while conversing with people he passed on the street. "Wexford is known for two things; strawberries and legends,' he said before taking a closer look at the colourful umbrella installations on Slaney Street that has become affectionately named 'Umbrella Street' by locals and visitors. While on his stroll, people stopped their cars and crossed the street just to shake hands with him. "Enniscorthy is active,' he added. On his quick tour he also stopped by the White House Bar and M&M Meats to get an in-depth look at their award-winning sausage. After getting recommendations on where he should have a meal, he popped into the local Holy Grail restaurant where he met owner Biju and thoroughly enjoyed a dish of half and half curry. "The chips are very nice, very very fresh. I'm going to rate this a ten out of ten – unreal. This is the definition of a 'Holy Grail'. I love the chef,' he said. Grateful for his fans, he made time to take photos and shake hands with the crowd of local young people who followed him into the restaurant. "I had a great time in Enniscorthy. Everyone was very nice and friendly and the comedy show was amazing, everyone laughed at my set. Thank you so much Enniscorthy for the craic – can't wait to visit again,' he said.
