Addressing the event, the BJP chief slammed the
Aam Aadmi Party
(AAP) for not using Rs 1700 crore under the Ayushman Bharat Scheme for public welfare.
He said, "Under PM-Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission, we had given Rs 1700 crore to Delhi between 2021 to February 2025, but not one penny was spent, and now the responsibility of the expenditure of this fund for the public welfare has fallen on the shoulders of (Delhi CM) Rekha ji."
Continuing his attack against AAP, he added, "We were ready to quench Delhi's thirst with water, but you kept the vessel upside down, so what could be done? On February 20, you turned up the vessel, so you got Ayushman Bharat. Prime Minister

was ready to provide Rs 5 lakh for the poor's healthcare since September 2, 2017. Their pride came in between. They did injustice to the poor."
Lauding
Ayushman Arogya Mandir
, Nadda targeted Aam Aadmi Mohalla Clinic and called AAP shortsighted.
"A wise man is farsighted and thinks of Ayushman Arogya Mandir, and shortsighted ones bring Mohalla Clinics. From the time a mother conceives a child to the time the child turns two, Ayushman Arogya Mandir takes care of all the vaccinations. India is playing a lead role in reproductive and child health care," JP Nadda said.
Last month, on June 17, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and Ministers Parvesh Verma and Manjinder Singh Sirsa inaugurated Ayushman Arogya Mandirs in the national capital.
After the inauguration, Manjinder Singh Sirsa informed that 33 Ayushman Aarogya Mandirs were inaugurated with excellent infrastructure and facilities.
"A total of 33 Arogya Mandirs have been inaugurated today, and they have excellent infrastructure", Manjinder Singh Sirsa said.

Bengaluru C-CAMP, ICARS launch AMR innovation challenge
Representative Image BENGALURU: The Centre for Cellular and Molecular Platforms (C-CAMP) in Bengaluru, in partnership with the International Centre for Antimicrobial Resistance Solutions (ICARS), has launched the One Health AMR Challenge 2025. This initiative aims to support technologies addressing antimicrobial resistance (AMR) across human, animal, and environmental health. 'The initiative, anchored under the India AMR Innovation Hub (IAIH) at C-CAMP, will identify up to 12 mid to late-stage innovations with Technology Readiness Levels 6–9. Selected technologies will receive financial support of Rs 40 lakh to Rs 2 crore, along with regulatory, IP, legal, manufacturing, and market-readiness assistance,' C-CAMP said on Monday. Applications opened on July 3 and will close on August 3. Focus areas include the detection of respiratory infections in humans, zoonotic diagnostics, reducing antibiotic use in livestock, removing pharmaceutical residues from effluents, and timely detection of bovine mastitis. Jane Street is a well-known proprietary trading firm based in the US, active in more than 45 countries. SEBI recently accused the firm of manipulating stock and index prices in India to benefit its options trades. According to SEBI, Jane Street made huge profits by first buying stocks to push prices up and then selling them off later in the day to make money from falling prices in the options segment. The regulator has frozen over Rs 4,800 crore in profits linked to these trades and banned Jane Street and its India arm from participating in the market. SEBI has also frozen their bank and demat accounts as part of an ongoing investigation.
