Gay mayhem: 7 best moments at the 2025 Las Culturistas Culture Awards
That's Las Cultch, babes. Bravo Media; Griffin Nagel/BRAVO 2025 Las Culturistas Culture Awards collage with (ABOVE) Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers; (BELOW) Sasha Colby, Law Roach, Allison Janney, Reneé Rapp, Quinta Brunson, Sarah Michelle Gellar. Culture called and we answered the phone last night at the 2025 Las Culturistas Culture Awards! Cohosts Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers gathered all of the titans in culture under one roof to award those worthy of the coveted trophies. The two comedians opened the show with a stirring rendition of Lady Gaga's "Abracadabra" and a hilarious opening monologue. The room seemed to be buzzing with anticipation as the awards were handed on during a televised broadcast on Bravo last night, which will be available on Peacock today. They managed to get so many of their notable nominees to attend, including the cast of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, Jamie Lee Curtis, Dylan Efron, Gabby Windey, Reneé Rapp, and Robyn with a Y (the Riddler's assistant). And Allison Janney was deservedly honored with the Lifetime of Culture Award and a stunning, moving tribute. Before the awards ceremony aired, Yang and Rogers promoted the show during TV interviews and handed out some of the awards. During their appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, they gave him the award for Best Future Podcaster (given that his show was recently canceled). Rogers appeared on Jenna Bush Hager's morning show, TODAY with Jenna & Friends, Yang made a surprise appearance to award her with the Cultch for TODAY Show Award for Excellence in the Morning. The boys have been gearing up for this moment and the night has finally come, so here are the best moments from last night's award show. Reneé Rapp presents the Reneé Rapp Award for Power in Lesbianism Important: Reneé Rapp is presenting the Reneé Rapp Award for Power in Lesbianism at the Las Culturistas Culture Awards. #cultureawards2025 #ReneéRapp Reneé Rapp made an appearance at the awards show to present the award named in her honor and the nominees were: Probably Your Grandma Even Though She Was Married to Your Grandpa for 50 years, Women in film crews wearing hard clothes to do their tough jobs, Miss Honey from Matilda, MUNA, and the carabiner. It was an incredibly tight race, the carabiner had a great year and my money was on that, but Probably Your Grandma won out this year and sent a sweet message from heaven. Sasha Colby presents Best New Artist We're gagged by Gaggy. #cultureawards2025 #SashaColby #GabbyWindey Last night, RuPaul's Drag Race alum Sasha Colby gave out the award for Best New Artist because it just makes sense after her drag daughter, Chappell Roan, won Best New Artist at the Grammy Awards earlier this year. The award went to everyone's favorite Bachelorette turned lesbian and Traitors winner, Gabby Windey. She kissed her wife, Robby Hoffman, right before rushing up to the stage to accept her award. "This is not the first time a gay man has helped me win something, big shoutout to Dylan Efron," she joked during her acceptance speech. She went on to thank her wife, her agents, managers, and of course, the lesbians. Matt and Bowen perform Lady Gaga's "Abracadabra" We will never recover from Abracadabra. #cultureawards2025 #MattRogers #BowenYang #LadyGaga Rogers and Yang are no strangers to the stage, and they kicked off the show with an electrifying cover of Lady Gaga's "Abracadabra" complete with full choreography. They didn't lip sync, they sang live and delivered an amazing performance to get the crowd excited for the show. Parvati Shallow presents the Eva Longoria Award for Tiny Woman, Huge Impact Award This is the height of culture. #cultureawards2025 #ParvatiShallow #QuintaBrunson Survivor winner and Traitors contestant Parvati Shallow stopped by the Las Culturistas Culture Awards show to present an important award. Out of all the formidable nominees, Quinta Brunson beat them all and delivered a rousing speech, recognizing short people everywhere and holding space for the vertically challenged people across the world. It was one for the history books! Meg Stalter presents the Allison Williams Cool Girl Award Cool girls were raised by Paige DeSorbo. #cultureawards2025 #MegStalter #PaigeDeSorbo Meg Stalter attended the awards ceremony to hand out the award for Allison Williams Cool Girl Award, mentioning that the one thing she and Williams have in common is that they're both a muse for Lena Dunham. This award went to Summer House's Paige DeSorbo, who came in one of the chicest outfits of the night with an asymmetrical hat and a sleek bodycon dress. Kristen Wiig presents the Allison Janney received the Lifetime of Culture Award Kristen Wiig's honoring Allison Janney at the Las Culturistas Culture Awards 🫶 #cultureawards2025 #KristenWiig #AllisonJanney At every award show, one of the biggest trophies of the night goes to someone who might not have gotten the awards or the recognition they deserved throughout their career. Although Janney does have an Oscar, a Golden Globe, and seven Emmys, she was honored with this year's Lifetime of Culture Award. She was introduced by her Palm Royale co-star, Kristen Wiig, and instead of a montage of all of her best work, they decided to do a moving tribute, which was essentially a choreographed interpretive dance that was inspired by all of her major movie and television career highlights. Dave Franco and Alison Brie present Best Batman Woman Who runs the world? You already know. #cultureawards2025 #AlisonBrie #DaveFranco #KristenWiig The audience was treated to another bit from Wiig when Alison Brie and Dave Franco presented the award for Best Batman Woman. Personally, I think it should have gone to Michelle Pfeiffer's Catwoman, but Robyn with a Y (the Riddler's assistant) took home the Cultch last night. Robyn (played by Kristen Wiig) accepted the award, making sure to note that her supervillain boss is a great manager. She shared what she does on a day to day basis and ended her speech saying, "I want to say thank you to this show, I don't know where I am or what this is." She added, "But this must have been started by women, for women, so a final thank you to the two ladies of Los Culturiscias." - YouTube The 2025 Las Culturistas Culture Awards ceremony is now streaming on . One mom sang to her ‘slacker boob'—and every pumping parent felt seen
If you've ever breastfed or pumped, you know the silent competition that happens between your own two boobs. One's the workhorse. The other? Showing up late, barely contributing, getting side-eyed while you stare at the output in your collection bottle. That's exactly the experience one mom turned into a viral musical moment, and parents everywhere are applauding her honesty. Emily Vondy, a mom and content creator, recently posted a Reel singing a heartfelt ballad to her 'slacker boob' while actively pumping. The video has been shared 15,000 times for one simple reason: it's painfully relatable.'You're slacking, lacking, not much packing,' she sings.'You're still good even though you're not great… I'm just happy you showed up and chose to participate.' The whole thing is set to a catchy melody and delivered while wearing undereye masks and nursing bra flaps, in full postpartum glory. It validates moms who are quietly wondering if they were the only ones dealing with a milk output gap. It's Breastfeeding Awareness Month—a time to spotlight real moments like this, because unfiltered stories help moms feel less alone. Related: Why does my breastfed baby want to feed SO frequently? What is a 'slacker boob' and why is it so common? Most nursing and pumping parents notice one breast tends to produce more than the other. It can happen for a number of reasons: duct placement, baby's latch preference, or previous feeding patterns. But knowing that doesn't make it easier. When one side fills the bottle while the other barely covers the bottom, it can leave moms questioning their bodies, their supply, and their ability to feed their baby. That quiet self-doubt adds up fast. Emily's 'boob diss track' hits because it puts a name—and humor—to that pressure. And sometimes, that's all it takes to make it feel lighter. Related: Mom wins 62-mile ultramarathon 6 months after giving birth—while breastfeeding her baby along the way Why pumping feels like a performance review Hooking up to a breast pump can start to feel like a test you didn't study for. You sit, wait, and hope your body shows up for you. The difference between two ounces and five might not seem like much on paper—but when you're sleep-deprived, hormonal, and trying to stock the fridge or freezer, every ounce feels loaded. That's what makes Emily's song resonate. It cuts through the pressure. It reminds moms that uneven output is normal, and that there's no shame in what your body can or can't do on any given day. Related: Pumping can help extend the overall breastfeeding time of an infant, new study shows The comments say it all Moms flooded the post with their own stories—and some truly inspired slacker boob nicknames: Sunshinefarmlife: ' Mines barely even participating 8 months in though so I'm kinda over it and just rooting on the other one' @k80_huck_a_b: *' pumpticipation award ' @ashtynegraham: 'My morning pump is 3 on my right and 2 on my left on a reaaaally good day. I get like.. 1 oz per side throughout the day' @ ' Ummm okay mama we've all got that slacker b**b that we are grateful for but wish they maybe chipped in a bit more ' @kcunn001: 'Why is it always the left one??' A reframe worth singing about At the end of the video, Emily holds up two bottles. One has five ounces. The other has three. 'A win is a win,' she says. And it is. Every drop counts. Every effort matters. Some days your body surprises you. Other days, it simply shows up—and that's enough. Sources: Journal of Human Lactation. 2007.
