This Morning cuts to break after Ben Shephard's crude remark on-air

Daily Record6 hours ago

This Morning presenter Ben Shephard was left in hysterics on Wednesday as he quickly moved on from an interview after a cheeky innuendo.
Ben Shephard, a familiar face on This Morning, encountered an amusingly awkward moment during Wednesday's edition.
While chatting with GK Barry about her upcoming tour, co-hosts Ben and Cat Deeley presented the segment on ITV with much excitement.

However, as they wrapped up the interview, the hosts experienced an unintended gaffe, prompting an abrupt transition to the next part of the show.

Concluding the conversation, Ben quipped: "Good luck with the tour it'll be great fun! any bushes on the tour?"
To which GK humorously retorted: "Just me," leading Ben to jest in return: "Just you? Big bush."
The exchange left the studio bursting with laughter, with Ben attempting to regain his composure, reports Wales Online.
He then quickly directed viewers' attention, saying: "Here's the competition! Take it away!"
GK, whose real name is Grace Keeling, is well known for her participation in the 2024 series of I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!, a defining experience she's drawn upon for her new Jungle Fever tour.

Discussing audience expectations, the 25-year-old acknowledged a shift in her fanbase after her appearance on the reality show, which she's consciously catering to.
Opening up to Ben and Cat, she expressed: "I've got a bit of an older audience now since I'm A Celeb, so I thought this next tour, I'm going to incorporate it for the mums, the girls, the gays, the occasional boyfriend that's brought along.

"I just want it to be a hen do, gone mad, bush tucker trails, loads of audience participation, celeb guests. I want it to be the best night of people's lives, minus their wedding day."
Curious about whether food challenges would be part of her audience's experience, Grace revealed she was inclined towards an alcohol-themed approach.
She elaborated: "I don't really know where I'd get testicles from! I think maybe I'll just make it an alcohol vibe, but I think it should be so much fun. I've been on a few (tours) but this one is bigger and better."

After her stint on I'm a Celeb, Grace has become a familiar face on ITV, rising to fame as the youngest ever panellist on Loose Women.
This year, viewers will have the opportunity to see the 25-year-old TV personality take on an entirely new program titled Celebrity Sabotage.

The overview for the highly anticipated ITV programme states: "Each week, our gang of celebrity saboteurs will be joined by a NEW guest saboteur, including Jill Scott MBE, Fay Ripley, Olivia Attwood, Jo Brand, Guz Khan and Harry Redknapp. Who will join in on all the action and cause even more mischief and mayhem?
"In each episode a fresh set of unsuspecting contestants will arrive, believing they're participating in a brand-new ITV show. These range from cooking challenges and relationship tests to business tasks and even murder mystery games. Little do they know that these shows are completely made up!".
"To make it even more convincing, these fake shows will have believable hosts, including familiar faces such as Clare Balding, Matt and Emma Willis, Monica Galetti, Jason Fox, Sara Davies and Rylan Clark. Everyone involved, from the celebrity saboteurs and the crew to the famous hosts, is in on the secret."
This Morning is available to watch on ITVX.

Emmerdale 'lets slip' who's targeting Joe Tate - but it isn't Billy

Emmerdale's Joe Tate is suspicious that love rival Billy Fletcher is out to get him in a revenge storyline after realising someone was targeting him on the ITV soap There was a new mystery unfolding on Emmerdale this week, with Joe Tate the target of some worrying behaviour. The character has created multiple enemies of recent, resulting in him being shoved out of a window at Home Farm. While it was fling and now partner Dawn Taylor who confessed to the crime, plenty of other people wanted him dead. ‌ While that storyline has died down now and Joe has recovered, it seems someone else is wanting payback. Joe was left furious to find his car had been keyed this week, and then on Wednesday night there was more signs that someone was out to get him. ‌ Joe realised someone had been in his room while he was out, noticing his medication had been taken. He confided in Sam Dingle about it, and revealed that someone had moved things around, taken things that he needed, and had even opened the window. He immediately suspected Billy was to blame, but Sam was adamant he wouldn't have done it. Sam did advise him to have it out with his love rival though to put a stop to the drama. Things didn't go well though and Joe, sending accusations Billy's way, was confronted by both him and Kerry Wyatt. Not getting the desired reaction Joe took action, meeting up with his accomplice Shaun and telling him he wanted Billy to be taught a lesson. So is Billy in serious danger? Either way, fans are convinced that Billy isn't lying and is actually innocent. So if not Billy, then who is targeting Joe and why? Viewers are suspicious of two characters in particular, both of whom blame Joe for the deaths of three characters including someone close to them. Joe caused the drugging of his brother Noah Dingle, leading to him wandering out into the road on the night of the limo crash. ‌ As driver Charity Dingle swerved to avoid hitting her son Noah, she crashed onto an icy lake. The accident caused the deaths of Leyla Harding, Suzy Merton and Amy Wyatt. At the recent party where Joe was exposed for what happened that night, Amy's mother Kerry made it clear she wanted payback. Amy's husband Matty Barton was also distraught and wanted Joe to face up to his actions. So with both of them wanting Joe to pay, could it be one or both of them who are out to get him? Viewers certainly think this could be the case, naming these two characters as the likely culprits. One fan posted on social media: "So the person who is haunting Joe is either Kerry or Matty." Another viewer agreed with the theory, saying: "I think Kerry or Matty or someone from the party still wanting revenge." Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays. * Follow Mirror Celebs and TV on TikTok, Snapchat, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and Threads.

Blind Date reboot will return with HUGE twist inspired by another ITV game show

lorra lorra sun Blind Date reboot will return with HUGE twist inspired by another ITV game show Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) IT is one of the most nostalgic TV reboots of the year – but I can reveal the return of Blind Date will come with a very modern Love Island-style twist. Earlier this month I revealed the programme, made famous by host Cilla Black in the Eighties on ITV, was being revived by Disney+. Sign up for the Entertainment newsletter Sign up 4 The Blind Date revival will be set on a tropical island — just like Love Island, hosted by Maya Jama But it will have a different flavour because much of the show will be spent on a tropical island — just like Love Island, hosted by Maya Jama— where contestants will compete for a dream wedding on the golden sands. A TV insider said: 'This sounds like a radical departure from the old Blind Date, one that definitely has hints of Love Island about it. "But fans will recall a lot of the dates took place in hot, sunny climes abroad, and producers want to recapture some of the steamy fun, and expand upon that. 'Even the wedding element has hints of the old show, because the dream was always that the dates on the programme would lead to couples tying the knot.' Cilla was at the helm for 18 years on the show which saw a contestant firing questions at three hopefuls concealed from their view by a wall — which slid back to reveal their chosen date. One of the hopefuls in 1991 was Amanda Holden. The TV insider added: 'In the reboot, the creators are not entirely dispensing with all of the old characteristics either as there are still plans to incorporate the show's famous sliding wall and hire a top female host just like Cilla.' Disney+ is imminently expected to confirm it is reviving Blind Date, though all details have been kept firmly under wraps. No presenter has signed up as yet but the channel is targeting some big names in British TV, with the main criteria being that they have to be hugely famous women. Here's hoping whoever gets the role doesn't mind getting a bit of sand between their toes in the course of the job. 4 Cilla Black hosted Blind Date for 18 years Credit: Getty Images - Getty Blind Date most successful couple Alex and Sue Tatham talk about their time on the show KATH TAKES FLIGHT KATHERINE KELLY is back dishing out the drinks . . . 13 years after pulling pints in the Rovers Return. Through the airline she works for, she finds herself blackmailed into drug smuggling after her son is imprisoned in Bulgaria for a murder he claims he didn't commit. The six-parter, set in Bangkok, Bulgaria, Istanbul and London, wrapped filming this spirng and is set to air later this year. STEPHEN IN TECH LESSON STEPHEN FRY wants to make a futuristic TV drama series where e-mails, TikTok and SnapChat are 'uncool' and people return to basic communication in 'an unplugged life'. The Celebrity Traitors star told podcast Extraordinary Life Stories: 'I was planning to write a TV series in which this kid comes to a school and completely changes it.' The pupil asks the teacher how to submit his essay as he doesn't have a computer so can't email it. Stephen continues: 'All the other (pupils) think 'Who is this ridiculous child?' "But then he starts influencing everybody. They think this is quite a fun way to live. 'We've come to a tipping point now where the uncoolest thing in the world is Snapchat, Instagram and TikTok. "We know they're harmful, but they are also vapid and shallow and silly. 'Imagine an unplugged life using all these fabulous old tools. You'd be the coolest people.' Bizbit THE BBC has un- veiled two new podcasts. Double Olympic gold medallist Nicola Adams will host the LGBT Sport Podcast, which begins today. And 13 Minutes Presents: The Space Shuttle tells the stories of the people who helped change space exploration. It launches on July 14. SEX JOKE BIT MUCH FOR WILL BRIT actor Will Sharpe came over all prudish about a sex scene in upcoming Netflix rom-com series Too Much . . . well, compared with the Americans on set. He cringed as US actress Megan Stalter, who plays the lead role in the show about an American woman coping with a new life in London, joked with the show's US creator Lena Dunham after the X-rated action. At this week's launch of the show, which drops on July 10, Lena said: 'One of Meg's favourite things to do is to ask you after a take: 'What face were you making during that?' "One time it was right after a sex scene and Meg was like: 'What face were you making during that?' 'And I heard Will's mic, like: 'Jesus f***ing Christ, Meg!'' Dean had a strained relationship with other camp mates in the jungle JUNGLE CATCH UP I'm A Celeb star Dean McCullough reveals cast have reunited for RIVAL show to air at the same time as ITV favourite Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) IT may have ended six months ago, but the drama from last year's I'm A Celebrity lived on thanks to Maura Higgins and Danny Jones' illicit kiss at The Brit Awards in March. Now campmate Dean McCullough has revealed some of the class of '24 are set for a TV reunion. It's a really exciting one actually and it'll be on around when the jungle's on. 'A bit of a camp reunion . . . and it is camp, I'm doing it!' Dean was in the jungle with celebrities including Coleen Rooney, Loose Woman and Sun columnist Jane Moore and TikTok star GK Barry. His career has rocketed since then. He is now a regular on ITV panel shows such as Big Brother: Late And Live and has just appeared on BBC's The Hit List. There was some tension between Dean and other camp mates in the jungle. During the show, fans hit out at Dean for catty comments towards Coleen. Scouse WAG Coleen revealed her husband Wayne Rooney didn't put on a lavish proposal when he popped the question. Speaking in the Bush Telegraph direct to camera and away from camp, Dean delivered a catty comment as he sniped: "Coleen I'm not being funny babe but I would have run a mile. "But then I would have missed out on the big house, the nice life and the four day wedding, and everything." Viewers at home didn't miss the catty comment either, as one said: "Why is it we have to keep seeing Dean comment on everything in the hut?"
