Leeds road closures for city's St Patrick's Day parade
The roads affected include:The HeadrowPark RowBoar LaneDuncan StreetNew Market StreetVicar LaneAlbion StreetGreat George StreetThis year's parade would raise money for St Gemma's Hospice, an independent charity providing end-of-life care to the people of Leeds, its organisers said.The event was supported by Leeds City Council and the Government of Ireland's Emigrant Support Programme.Event organisers thanked the Irish organisations of Leeds which supported the parade and staff from Leeds City Council's events and highways team.

'Avoid area' warning as Sheffield wildfire breaks out
South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service is tackling a large wildfire in the Parkwood Springs area of residents have been told to keep their doors and windows closed due to the smoke, which is visible from the Hillsborough and Shirecliffe areas of the city. Members of the public have been told to avoid the fire, which is at Penrith fire service posted on its social media: "Please avoid the area while they work to bring this incident to a safe conclusion. Fire crews tackle moor blaze near RAF Fylingdales
Emergency crews will be tackling a moorland blaze in North Yorkshire "for some time", the fire service has were called on Monday evening to reports of smoke at Langdale Moor, near RAF crews remained at the scene on Tuesday, with the fire covering an area more than 980ft by 980ft (300m x 300m), North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service said.A spokesperson said they found the fire had "jumped" a fire break put in place late on Monday, and advised local residents to keep windows and doors closed.
